“You didn’t have to swoop in and rescue me like that.” Is the first thing out of Tim’s mouth when Kon sets him down on the roof of a building several blocks away from the explosions - that are still on-going - and he feels an annoying disappointment in his chest.
Sure, Kon hadn’t exactly expected Tim, to suddenly express his gratitude with a kiss - though it happens often enough in some of Kon’s dreams. He sure is glad that Tim can’t read minds for real; and just pretends he can do that - However a, ‘thanks’, can’t really be too much to hope for, could it?
