Summary:

Leo pretends to forget who Usagi is so Usagi wouldn’t kill him. Usagi takes full advantage of this and says they’re a couple.

Chapter 1

Chapter Text

“Hey— wait wait wait—“

“No more waiting, kappa.” Usagi pointed a katana at Leo’s throat, smirking. “It’s time for you to die.” Usagi had a foot on Leo’s plastron and held his sword with both his hands.

Leo’s arms were up in alarm, and he had to think of something quick because his brothers were definitely listening in and oh god they were right he was gonna die tonight, why did he ignore them and come out anyway to get cornered by fucking USAGI—

“Wait! Wait wait- who the fuck are you??” Leo cried.

The rabbit stalled, and was dead silent for a second. He narrowed his eyes and leaned closer to Leo.

“…say that again.”

“Who… who are you?” Leo stuttered out, using his best confused tone. “Why do you want to kill me?”

Usagi removed his foot from Leo’s plastron, so Leo took a deep breath and prayed to pizza supreme that the first thing out of his quick mouth would help him today.

“…you don’t remember me?” Usagi asked in a very hollow voice.

Leo could hear panicked voices on his intercom, not that Usagi could hear it, but it calmed him down to know that his brothers were on the way to the middle of nowhere to help him out. Why did he run all the way to the other side of New York again?

Leo shook his head slowly. “No, bunny boy. I can’t remember anything about you.” Leo cringed internally. Great going. Not obvious at all.

Usagi hummed and sheathed his katana, to Leo’s surprise. He extended a hand which Leo took, and lifted him up like Leo weighed nothing, straight into his fluffy— oh god. Fluffy chest.

“Oh god.” Leo slipped out, being held by Usagi in his embrace.

“Oh god indeed.” Usagi let out a chuckle that rattled his entire chest and holy shit this was both terrifying and attractive at the same time—

“So, who are you and why’d you… want to kill me and now suddenly you don’t?” Leo squeaked out, head still buried in Usagi’s chest and trapped in Usagi’s muscular arms.

“Hmm…” Usagi said with a tone that revealed he was definitely smiling, and leaned his chin onto Leo’s head. This was getting so intimate and Leo hated how his heart sounded like it was beating out of his chest. It doesn’t make it better that he still heard the sounds of his brothers panicking from seeing his heart rate that had somehow accelerated even more than when he was actually fighting Usagi.

“Let’s just say you and I love role play.” Wait, what?

“Wait, what?” Leo repeated. “Wait. Role play?”

Usagi let out another chuckle that sent butterflies flying through Leo’s stomach. “Yes, baby blue. We’re a couple.”

Leo choked. His brothers choked.

“…what?” Leo squeaked out. His face turned completely red as he got manhandled to the wall on the building and Usagi caged the poor blue clad turtle in between his arms.

“I said…” Usagi leaned closer and their breaths entangled together as one. “…you’re mine.”

Leo held his breath and stared straight into matching blue eyes that glinted back. Get a hold of yourself, Leo, that is Usagi, a rampant, vigilante you see every week you go patrolling by yourself and you guys try to kill each other every time. You do not feel emotion for this villain—

Leo gasped as he felt his knees buckle and closed his eyes when he didn’t expect an arm to snake around his waist. He opened it to come face to face with a grinning Usagi, who leaned closer to Leo, nearly holding him completely and pecked the side of his lips.

“Sweet little blue darling,” Usagi tightened his hold on Leo’s waist. “You belong to me.”

Leo sucked in a breath as Usagi started peppering kisses on Leo’s neck, chest and face and prayed to the heavens his face wasn’t a raging tomato.

Usagi may be his enemy, but he sure as hell was hot. And that same Usagi was currently holding his waist and they were plastered chest to chest together on a random building.

Leo grimaced internally from the explosions he heard from the other side of the intercom, holy shit, he hopes Raph and Mikey keep Donnie in check.

After two minutes, Leo was definitely a raging tomato, and Usagi was grinning like a madman who had just struck gold.

“You’re such a good boy,” Usagi nuzzled into Leo’s neck. “Let’s go home, baby.”

Holy shit. Leo can’t do this anymore. The nicknames were giving him some kind of aneurism and Leo did not want to think about the growing heat under…

“Uh— Usagi!” Leo chuckled nervously and looked away from Usagi as he pushed him further away. “Uh, yeah. I know your name’s Usagi even though you haven’t told me and yeah uh funny story, I was lying and I do remember you and the fact that we’re not dating and bunny do i feel hot, I MEAN— boy, are you hot.” Leo blinked.

“FUCK— I mean— I feel hot, it’s getting hot in here, don’t you feel hot? I mean cold. Or hot. Out here. In the cold air.” Leo stuttered, looking straight down at his toes, still up against the wall and terrified. He’s gonna die today. If Usagi wasn’t trying to trick Leo by pretending they were lovers, he had to be livid by now. Leo’s dead and gone.

Leo heard sounds coming from his com, something along the lines of, “5 MINUTES. DONT DO ANYTHING STUPID” and he knew they couldn’t save him from dying.

Leo felt a hand cup his face, and looked up to see Usagi with not a hint of anger on his face.

“I know.” Was the only thing he heard before lips came crashing onto his and Leo lost his mind.

He thought of ‘how crazy was this’ , and ‘holy shit that feels amazing’ and nothing else. His knees buckled yet again and Usagi dropped down to the floor with Leo, locked his knees in between Leo’s legs so Leo would be straddling Usagi.

Both of them moaned into each other’s mouth, and Leo wasn’t aware of the sounds coming from his intercom that sounded like total and absolute chaos. All he could think about was devouring the rabbit just as the rabbit was doing to him, and Leo started moving his hips on Usagi’s legs.

Usagi let out a groan and deepened the kiss even more. Leo felt electricity run through his body and he wrapped both arms around Usagi’s neck, still sitting on him. Usagi gripped Leo’s waist with a vice strength which ignited a groan out of Leo.

After a couple more seconds, Leo pulled away and collapsed onto Usagi, huffing.

“Wha… what? Why?” Leo whispered into Usagi’s ear.

Usagi huffed and moved his hands so he was hugging Leo at the waist.

“Isn’t it obvious, lover boy?”

Leo shook his head, ignoring the obvious nickname. “Not really… I don’t understand why you did this when I was just trying not to die, and didn’t get angry when you realised it was a trick.”

Usagi couldn’t see Leo’s face which was buried in his neck, so all he could do was pat a rhythmic beat on his shell. He hummed a bit and felt Leo’s tension slowly leave his shoulders.

“You really don’t know?”

“All I know was that it felt weirdly good, the bottom of my shell feels weird and I’m glad you didn’t kill me and my bullshitting worked out.”

Usagi’s eyes darkened and he pulled Leo’s bandanna away from him, proud at the squawk the turtle gave out.

“Bullshitting? I was never bullshitting.” Usagi’s voice rumbled, and he kissed Leo long and hard. Enough that when they separated, the inexperienced Leo collapsed onto Usagi and clutched his fur like it was a saving grace, gasping for air.

“So what… you, you like me or something?” Leo coughed a bit.

Usagi lightly tugged on Leo’s bandana to signal the turtle that he wanted to look at him, so Leo turned to Usagi slowly, and oh the flush on his face just made Usagi want to trap him at home to keep him as his own forever. He was so cute.

Usagi smooched Leo’s cheek, and took pleasure in looking at a gobsmacked expression slowly emerge from Leo’s face.

“Baby blue, I’ve always liked you.” Usagi smiled. “From the very first day we met, until now.” Leo choked on nothing and gripped at Usagi’s fur harder, letting the bunny pull him in closer into his lap.

“I’ve loved you since forever.”

Leo was shaking in his hold. “But… why did we fight every single time if you’d always loved me?” He whimpered.

“That’s for another day, darling. Let’s deal with the matter at hand first.” Usagi pecked Leo’s forehead.

“What… other matter could there even be other than this?” Leo squeaked out, face burning redder than a tomato.

“That.” Usagi gestured to a raging myriad of colours. Familiar colours of orange, purple and red from a mile away on the buildings.

“Oh.” Leo smiled, despite the flush on his face making him look drunk in love.

Usagi couldn’t hold it in. Years of pretend animosity for the sake of keeping his only invisible string of relationship to Leo and he’d finally got the chance he’d wanted. Leo’s reaction wasn’t a poor one, which meant he had a chance to win Leo’s love. He wasn’t about to let this turn bad.

The moment Leo’s brothers came on the building and instantly made their way to Leo’s side, a stormy look clouding over their faces, Usagi stood up and brought Leo up in a princess carry, a small yelp escaping the smaller boy.

Leo threw his arms around Usagi instinctually, and Usagi swallowed any dumb pun the turtle was about to spout the moment he opened his mouth by diving deep into it. French kiss style. Leo yelped and Usagi dipped him, inciting another heart clenching moan from his blue, he’ll make him his, he’s so beautiful and strong and—

And the last thing Usagi remembered was a face full of purple and a large hit to the head.
