Summary
Squall Leonhart packed up his bags and planned to leave Radiant Garden for good. But as he passed by the old, abandoned church, the laughter echoing from within its ruined walls enticed him enough to stay. After meeting Aerith, the church’s unofficial caretaker, his life changed forever. From blowing up secret labs to fighting malevolent deities, Squall struggles to protect the one he cherishes most from the encroaching Darkness.
But Aerith is no damsel in distress.
When the Eight Years War finally ends, the borders are restored, the stars are returned to the sky, and the hearts are freed from their dark prison. But somewhere along the way, the shadows claim one final victim. Aerith rushes to rescue her loved ones, but what awaits her at journey’s end might be more than she bargained for.
Takes place before, during, and after KH1 (but you can also enjoy this without having significant knowledge of KH).

After the sudden and tragic passing of T'Challa, Leon stays in Wakanda to try and help everyone hold things together. This proves to be more trouble than he expected between Shuri isolating herself to her inventions, Queen Ramonda refusing to share any Vibranium with the rest of the world, and the world trying to steal Vibranium from them. The situation becomes even more dire when a strange man from underwater appears and threatens all of Wakanda unless they meet his demands. With little else to do, Leon becomes the Silver Lion once again to help the nation that accepted him, trying to help himself and Shuri through their grief as they fight to protect Wakanda from all the dangers it faces...

By the time they return, Sora has moved on, taking Riku’s hand like he wanted to on the islands and following him to Hollow Bastion and his new mentors. Sora’s power is the friends he makes in any universe.
