When Dean doesn't come back from putting down the kids for the night, Kim is left to handle Kenta and Winner alone, the two of them pregnant and wanting his undivided attention. With a jealous mate on either side of him, Kim does his best to survive and keep things from escalating until Dean returns.
If Dean had dozed off while putting the baby down, then Kim was in for a long night without him.
A growl started to build up in the back of Winner’s throat. It did nothing to intimidate Kenta at all on the other side of their Alpha, the Omega simply glaring daggers in response. Kim started to get nervous as Kenta’s arm tightened around him and fingers gripped onto his side, threatening to dig in to the flesh beneath. Winner’s fingers probably would have been doing the same, if the Sigma wasn’t trying and failing completely to shove Kenta’s arm off of Kim, as Kenta had shifted so Winner couldn’t get his arm around the Alpha.

A mix-up at the pharmacy with Kenta’s suppressants results in the Omega unexpectedly going into heat. Told by Tony and others in the Foundation that an Alpha will lose control around an unmarked Omega in heat and attack them, the pups panic and kick Kim out of the bedroom, barricading themselves in to protect Kenta until his heat is over.
“Kenta-” Kim sat up and went to reach for his mate, wanting, needing to check on him. He could hardly believe that the other man was in heat, didn’t yet get how he could be when Kim knew Kenta took his suppressants regularly.
“GET OUT!” Taro shouted, shoving him as hard as he could, sending him toppling off of the bed, which he was apparently already close to the edge of.
As Kim stood up, arm aching from the fall, Taro did as well, growling before Kim could try to say or do anything. Buddy whimpered. Though he wanted so badly to make sure Kenta was alright, he couldn’t bear to be scaring the pups so badly. Taro was braced like he expected Kim to try to force his way past him, and Buddy’s shaking had increased.
