Summary
In the edge of the forests, surrounded by the darkness, lives a witch that has power tied to her name. Sheriff Stilinski feels drawn to the woman he comes across when out hunting, whom doesn't leave him with anything but her whispers to leave. He doesn't quite know if he believes in magic, but instinct drives him to know.
The witch in the forest desires to live deliciously and has lived for far longer than anyone around. Thomasin feels interested by the presence of the human who invades her forest often. At the same time, she feels conflicted against Black Philips order to kill him, and her own desire to experience love.
Thomasin and Sheriff Stilinski meet when Noah was young and finds that such a thing as love was possible for both.
