In other words, Freminet starts lettering with Gaming and is forced to face his fears of socialization.

”I can,” Freminet answers quietly, squatting down to meet the boy at his eye-level. “Tell me… Where does it hurt?”
The seven-year-old boy is shutting his eyes tightly in anticipation, like he’s terrified of how Freminet is going to hurt him. He averts his gaze entirely, and his face crinkles in tomato-red shame. “Uhm… my… my hand,” it’s a shaky, half-hearted mumble. “It hurts a lot in my hand.”
Lyney’s passing a content smile towards Freminet. It’s one of their secret ways to communicate; right now, Lyney’s putting his full faith in Freminet. He expects him to perform well for his special audience brought to this stage, or in this case, to help the boy mend his pain.
And Freminet can do that for Lyney.

He releases the breath he's been holding. He is closer to the truth. The truth of the absolute shit that has happened overwhelmingly in the span of a few minutes. Despite feeling like he's been placed in a possibly superficial phenomenon, where his body and thoughts are squeezed to fit in a tiny container and experience the wrath of this so-called 'reality', he admits so lowly that he, truly is, afraid.
Afraid of the truth.
So when the next sentence was purely intended to answer his question rather than irk the anxiety that threatened to spiral uncontrollably. There was nothing that could have prepared him for what she was about to say, because what would he even do when she mentions that with wide eyes and blown out pupils, silently speaking with much trepidation, slightly sore voice whispering almost—
"Collei is dead."
Huh.

Adjusting to others is hard enough, but adjusting to life itself might be the closest resemblance to Hell Freminet had ever seen. To put it lightly, everyone has a breaking point - most especially those who have already reached their breaking point before - Freminet though was convinced he hadn't even gotten a foot close to what would be his breaking point. That idea might have been one of his many mistakes that would back-fire on him inevitably. Set in 21st Century France - Freminet is an adopted child living with his now siblings, Lyney and Lynette, and as well as with "Father" in a place far away from the 'home' (If you could even call it a home) he had grown up in. What Freminet should have realized is that just because he escaped one version of a living nightmare didn't mean he wouldn't find another.

When Freminet and his siblings visited Liyue during their vacation time, he found that this nation was pretty different from Fontaine. Its colors were calmer and it felt far more ancient and just so much warmer as well. The beaches were decorated with shells and starconches and the trees were so uniquely colorful and bright. It was like stepping into a whole other world.
On one particular day, he’d just finished diving and stepped on the beach of Yaoguang Shoal. Suddenly he heard a voice calling.
“Wahhh! Chongyun, look! It’s a sea monster from the depth of the oceans! It’s probably looking to seek revenge for their beloved and wreak havoc upon the land!”
Freminet blinked. A sea monster? Where? He looked around left and right but he couldn’t make out anything unusual.
...Were they shouting about him?

He glanced at her lips, soft, pink, and faintly smiling. He had to do something and he had to do it fast.
