Otto Hightower felt the cold blade cut into his neck. Blood gushed out, hot and red, his head staining the stone floor of the Red Keep. the scene unfolded before my eyes, in realistic detail.
He had fought to the end. But the strength of Rhaenyra and her dragons was relentless. The fortress he had so longed to control had fallen, and with it, his dream of power.
His eyes soon closed, but the darkness did not envelop him. A strange force pulled at him.

"Your mom invited me to go apple picking with your guys tomorrow. I was training.""From the trees, Rhaenyra. We are going to pick apples from the trees." She could not be serious.
"How the fuck was I supposed to know that?"
"Why the fuck would she mean anything else?" Alicent was going to have a stroke. "My mom, Rhaenyra, think."
"Oh… shit."
