Leo works as a space engineer for at the Celestial Horizon Base (also known as the CHB). While he loves working there with all of his friends, he also loves going home to his boyfriend he is moving in with. Surely, all of his friends are understanding of his relationship.Jason works as a pilot for New Rome's Universe (also known as the NRU). He doesn't love it, but he doesn't really have a choice so he makes the best out of it. His life outside of work is looking brighter though, now that his boyfriend is finally moving in with him. It sure would suck if he randomly got taken to leave for a voyage...

If there was a way to block getting ‘requests’ from the gods, Percy hadn’t been told how to do it yet. And, it wasn’t like them showing up at his doorstep and being told ‘no’ in every variation he could think of had managed to deter them yet. They all seemed to think that by merely existing, Percy owed it to them to be at their beck and call for any frivolous (or dangerous) thing they couldn't be bothered to deal with themselves.
Hermes showing up in his living room with Annabeth and Nico in tow, with a request that Percy couldn't reject fast enough (or at all), led to the three of them being dropped off in Quebec in early December with no plan. Great, super. Hermes and his stupid thermos.
