Lucifer let out a strangled gasp as he fell. His wings that used to carry him around heaven, glistening with perfect golden tips were now bloody and mangled. He caught a glimpse of his brother, Michael , who was still staring at him from the top of the pit. He couldn't make out his expression.
He reached around, trying to find his beloved, but she was nowhere in his vision and he let out another cry. What did he do to deserve this? why did his father do this to him?*
