Summary

Nobara rubbed Asahi’s back for a moment because words couldn’t come to her without being choked out, but she wanted to ease his worries. “Life is beautiful.” She finally said. It took him by surprise, she could see it in his eyes. “You’ll learn. You’ll learn that even the most painful moments make life beautiful.”
He was silent for a few moments before his cheeks flushed and he darted his eyes between Aiko and Nobara. “Spit it out.” She told him simply, making the teenager cough as his face burned. “…Do you.. Do you want more kids?” A warm smile came across her face and she didn’t hesitate to nod. “Not right now. Definitely not right now. Babies are hard. Being a mother is.. hard.. but, yes. One day I’d like another. We’d probably stop at two.”
