It started off with apologies for his part in the war, the sins he commits (yes, present tense), and eventually the one-sided conversations he has as he watches her navigate her life for years after the war. His parasocial familiarity devolves into obsession, consumed by watching her every move. Rising through the Ministry ranks, she shines in her work and network, but Draco uncovers that perhaps, the Golden Girl isn't so golden after all.
