Louis is perfectly reasonable, thank you very much, and he’s also frustrated and upset and tired and he really wants to punch something. Maybe he should have held on to that pillow a little longer.

Inspired by the wall scene in Ep 2, because there is no way Aziraphale, after 6000 years of "fraternizing," didn't know exactly the reaction he was going to get from Crowley by calling him nice. Come join me on this wild ride featuring angst, three centuries worth of porn with feelings, and finally a ridiculously sappy post-apocalypse ending!

Obviously they're in love, have been for a long time, and Want It ~bad~. Cue using the flimsy excuses and scenarios they build around themselves to make all of their "encounters" excusable in their eyes--Crowley is contesting the idea that whatever he'd done recently in any way makes him "nice" and asserts his demon-ness by "tempting an angel", whereas Aziraphale can excuse it as not really being tempted so much as "assimilating" and giving in to more earthly pleasures (it's about the ACT, not about who he's having it *WITH*, obviously). Things get messy and frighteningly emotional, but they repress the hell out of all of that. Or mostly Arizaphale does (it's all from his POV), and Crowley doesn't want him to see how much it means to him/how much it hurts to deny himself the full depth (and frankly, Aziraphale won't *let* himself see that in Crowley). Then the whole apocalypse-that-wasn't happens, and after everything, now that they're on the "same side" and don't have to answer to anyone or pretend to keep it safe, Aziraphale is forced to be honest, because Crowley can't take it anymore.
Follows all of their encounters over time. Actually very sweet and emotional, with obvious angst as they deny themselves their emotions.

There’s so much to say so check the tags but one thing that needs mentioning is the seamless flow of the story, the way the author has managed to capture everything like a moving movie in itself...so many elements like adding a soundtrack and assigning certain scenes with music that brings the whole experience to new levels...also, the descriptions are so breathtaking and the writing is just so brilliant. I genuinely felt. every. word. fuck this made me feel things. My heart aches at how good this was. such a gratifying read
