If I could go back in time and stop myself from tying my shoelaces halfass that morning, I would actually scratch that, I'd burn the shoelaces and the shoes and probably the entire school courtyard while I'm at it.
Because on the very first day of my final year, I, Yuuri Katsuki, managed to perform the single most career-ending stunt in high school history. I accidentally fell face first into another guy's crotch.
And not just any guy. Oh no.
Fate decided to spice things up by making it be Victor Nikiforov, captain of the basketball team, human statue, and universally agreed upon most unattainable male in our school. He was tall, lean, and had that silent, brooding look that made girls write his name in their notebooks with glitter pens.

Fifty-five-year-old Katsuki Yuuri was alone in the world after the deaths of his husband and their pseudo-son some twenty years before. He wouldn’t have made it much longer if he hadn’t felt called to enter a strange little eclectic shop in St. Petersburg. The owner offered him a choice he couldn’t refuse: go back in time to correct a wrinkle in fate that changed their destiny or go on living half a life.
He accepted her offer.
But that’s not quite what ended up happening. As a baby, Yuuri had bits and pieces of memories from the future to go off of, but he wasn’t an adult. Not really. Through his memories, he possessed enough knowledge to make fitting in with his peers difficult, but not enough maturity to liken his current self to his adult self. He was somewhere in the middle and fairly embarrassed about the whole ordeal because he knew he should feel like (and have the impulse control of) an adult. But he doesn’t, and he’s aware that he’s lacking.

Well what can he do but live on and enjoy the ride ahead. After all he lived with Victor Nikiforov, so he was used to having curve balls thrown his way. When he thought there won't be anymore surprises, he opened his eyes for the first time in his seventy second life to a very familiar and affectionate pair of eyes. -

Considering that his life had apparently already been shattered—because somehow it was 2015 again and he’s in his old apartment in Detroit and Victor isn’t here why isn’t he here oh my god what if he doesn’t remember me—he was hoping for the former.Yuuri wakes up five years in the past, before the Grand Prix series that led him to Sochi--and to Victor.

The result is Yuuri skating to programs deliberately designed to keep Viktor’s attention. Viktor won’t know what hit him when they finally compete against each other. Of course, Hotel Ladunav will celebrate the date with a special banquet for staff, clients and special guests on Christmas Eve, and there will also be an exclusive gift exchange for Alphas and Omegas after the banquet.
Victor wants everything to go well at the banquet, and he can't wait to enjoy it with his beloved Omega.

Yakov Feltsman has been away from the ice arena for over a week, under strict orders from his cardiologist, after he passed out during training on the eve of the short European Championships program. Because of that, the ring is now under the care of Yuuri, Victor and another trainer, Alexander Ivanovich.
Ivanovich normally coaches Ice Dance and Pairs skaters, but unlike Yakov, he hasn't had much success during his entire career as a coach. And obviously the presence of Yuuri Katsuki, who not only assumed the position of assistant coach before the European Championships but was also chosen by the FFKK to replace Yakov during the short program, made Ivanovich even more jealous, something Yuuri immediately noticed all of the times I talked to him.

On social networks, the Hashtag #SkatingMama is one of the most viralized tags because of Phichit Chulanont. It turns out that, after Yuuri went to Russia, it was up to Victor Nikiforov to reveal (and compete with Phichit) to the world the greatness that his student/boyfriend(?) is.
Obviously, as he intends to do with Phichit, Yuuri gets revenge on Victor for that.[This chapter takes place during #SkatingMamaReturns and during 2015 in #SkatingMamaStories]
Fun fact: Some parts of this fic are totally inspired by me and my husband, where he is Victor (a poor version who only gets angry when something is wrong) and I'm Yuuri (the fixer, when it can be).
