Summary
For the past year or so, Doctor Eggman's antics have gotten more and more intense despite all the grace he has given him. Sonic isn't sure much more rope he can throw. Their current adventure has been full of twists, turns, and close scrapes, but devoid of any kind of answers. As they enter their final battle, Sonic, Tails, Shadow, and Amy have no idea what they're up against.
Eggman has gone too far.
A story mainly focused on developing and exploring the characters and their relationships because its fun. Sonic is at the center of it all due to his role in the inciting incident that was the straw that broke Sonic's back.
This fic mainly follows Sonic, Tails, Amy, and Shadow, with Knuckles and Rouge as supporting cast. Sage, Eggman, Metal, Orbot, and Cubot have some chapters to themselves as well! :D

Summary
Eggman has managed to trap Sonic, and sends him into the timestream to get rid of him once and for all. Luckily, Sonic gets rescued by… Silver?! Together the two hedgehogs try to find a way to get Sonic back to the past… but that is not as easy as it seems, and the fact Sonic and Silver’s past two adventures haven’t left them exactly friends doesn’t help matters either. But Sonic wouldn’t be Sonic if he didn’t tackle this problem with a smile and compassion galore, both of which enthral Silver more than the psychic realises. How might their relationship develop further? And what will happen once Sonic is able to go back to his own era again?

After draping a soft blanket over his body she notices a box of tapes labelled ‘Shadow’ and since curiosity got the better of her she took them and Sonic’s Tape recorder.
She thought it was just a recount of some funny moments that happened with Shadow but little did Amy know that those tapes hide a very, very dark secret that Sonic chose to burden.

This fic is inspired by the music videos made by Faith Scarred on YouTube, but it's only around 80% music-accurate since I had to take some creative liberties to make it make sense in written form. Also, this fic will have chapters updated to make it longer and to fit in better with the newer music videos, but will not lose the original plot. -
