Jackson had spent several months in London, being fostered in a very healthy pack with a very coddled Spark who was taken care of and adored by the whole pack. Upon getting back to the states, Jackson realized that his own pack isn’t paying nearly enough attention to their own Spark, and maybe Jackson could help fix that.
Only slip is that he hadn’t realized the way Spark Ellie had been treated was a direct result of her own considerable trauma, but it’s actually okay, because Stiles has quite a bit of trauma of his own, and could use a bit of coddling himself.
Stiles is struggling. He hasn’t been treated like a baby since long before his mother had passed, and realizing that his best bet for help is being cared for like one… it’s a bit much.
Jackson got therapy and he’s gonna make that everyone else’s problem.
