Roberto eyed the front door, taking a slow drink from his flask. “Are you sure this is the right spot, newbie?”
“It’s Meryl Stryfe,” she grumbled, double checking the address on her phone. “Yeah, this is apparently the right spot. It looks… different from what I was expecting.”
“If he’s skipping out on his taxes, he should have enough money to fix his coffee shop,” Roberto muttered.
She huffed, rolling her eyes. “We don’t know if he’s actually committing tax evasion, sir! That’s why we’re here: to figure out what this guy’s deal is.”(on hiatus because of school, but we're working on it!)

Vash had been "tending" to one of the many wounds that had been added to the already clustered patchwork that was his torso. The criss-cross lines of scar tissues and metal plates that replaced skin left almost no completely unmarked skin on his body. Anyone who saw it would've immediately figured out that he wasn’t human. No human could survive that. So again, here Vash was.... again..... treating a wound that was so gracefully plunged into his body by someone he was trying to help.

Who knew that a human and Alien Plant could have a kid together? They sure didn’t!!! Before Vash and Wolfwood left planet Gunsmoke, they discovered that it was biologically possible, just in a way that's different then normal. Upon waking up after a particularly steamy night, they discovered a giant flower bud between the two. After a few minutes of freaking out, they investigated further, discovering that it was more than just a flower bud, it was an egg, or at least worked like one. Blame vash’s alien biology. After leaving planet Gunsmoke, the three got hit by a stray asteroid, causing them to crash land on the outskirts of Gotham, in its desert, while entering earth's atmosphere some of Alien plants fell out of the ship landing across the globe, a total of 10 out of the 500. Over time Vash and Wolfwood fixed the ship up and buried it in the sand, building a house and orphanage on top of it, with access to the ship via the house's “basement”. After receiving information upon the whereabouts of two plants located in gotham Wolfwood went to the location of the first plant, sending his accomplices to the second location, one thing he failed to realize was a shadowy figure following him from the rooftops above.

Instead of wiping him down Nicholas’ hands trail the length of Vash’s spine again, back along his body and over the towel slung around his hips. “There’s another service I offer, actually.” His hands pause when they reach the back of his thighs, and Vash stills beneath him. “Have you heard of a tantric massage?”
“No,” Vash says slowly, though there’s suspicion in his tone. “What is it?”
“Well.” Nicholas’ hands don’t move, still splayed against his thighs and feeling the warmth of Vash’s skin beneath him. “I don’t strictly follow the rules of it, but it’s the closest thing I can compare it to. It’s a more - intimate massage.”
What starts off as a service soon gets Vash in over his head, captivated with the only man who seems able to give him what he wants.

Summary
If there was one thing Vash was good at, other than always running into trouble, was pretending. Better yet, drinking his problems away, even if it was temporarily. However, here, he didn’t have to worry about his brother, nor Legato and the Gung-Ho-Guns trying to torment Vash. Or at least for now. He also didn’t have to worry about being a danger to the public hopefully.
