W.D. Gaster is a mad man, if you ask his sciencists. Rumors fly around the lab, circulating through New Home. Hearing voices, talking to air, keeping private projects locked in hidden labs under security so thick not even the King has the keys. After his disappearance, the CORE’s Central Labs get shut down. Permanently.
Twenty years later, during the final shutdown of the Underground’s camera systems, there’s something spotted. Someone spotted.
Broken, beaten, quiet. A shell of a man previously full of an infectious, whirlwind energy.
What…happened?

Summary
“Sit down.” Grillby’s voice pierced the silence, “You left the door unlocked, so just tell her to come in.” Grillby pointed to Gaster’s desk roughly in the center of the room, approaching it with quiet footsteps. Gaster shivered at his words, but obeyed; Grillby was definitely planning something to get back at him, and he was intrigued. He saw Grillby shuffle under his desk as best as he could, hoodie pulled back over his flames to help stifle his glow.
Gaster’s face vaguely shifted to confusion, “Wait, what are you–”
Another knock on the door. His gaze drifted back up to the hallway.
“Answer.” Grillby said, “Don’t keep your guest waiting, Gaster.” He had a hint of something low and mischievous in his voice. Gaster’s brow bones furrowed slightly in an emotion he didn’t know how to identify, his tired eye lingering on his sharp ones.

Summary
Gaster was just finishing off his cake when a neighboring party set off the first firework of the night. The skeleton jolted at the boom that quaked the mountain beneath them. Gaster did his best to quiet his rattling as colors burst in the sky. Grillby sat close and wrapped his warm arms around his shoulders. The skeleton took a breath and melted into the embrace.

Summary
The city of Daiport has many things to brag about. It's ancient history, the beautiful mountain ranges and of course, the glistening ocean beaches that hug a good portion of the city's outskirts.
It's also the home of the monsters that emerged from deep within Mount Ebott.
You, having left your strict family upbringing to chase after your love for the ocean and a dream to become a professional dance choreographer, find yourself in a city quite unlike any other. But life continues much as it always has since you moved here. You work in the local surf shop, train for the biggest dance competition of your life, and spend all of your free time in the water. That is, until a chance encounter leads you to meet a monster who turns up the heat in your life.
As for said monster? He's never met a human with hair as bright as his flames. He finds himself drawn to you for reasons he can't fully understand. So the question you both have to wonder is:
What happens when water and fire collide?
Part 1: Chapter 1-33

Summary
Fall cleaning was Gaster’s least favorite time of year. Don’t get them wrong, they absolutely loved fall, from the holidays and decorations to the various seasonal treats, it was by far their favorite time of year.
Except this. See, it wasn’t the cleaning itself that was the issue, she actually rather loved cleaning, but rather a specific stack of boxes in the back of the attic she always managed to stumble upon. It didn't matter where they were trying to go, what they were getting, or even where they were facing, it was always there. It seemed to haunt her, always sitting in the back of her mind. It wasn’t even like there was something awful in those boxes. They were actually incredible things. Things most people could only dream of obtaining, things that would make anyone else feel like they were on top of the world.

Summary
Gaster began loading the basket with plates and silverware. Shortly after Grillby came in with the containers of sandwiches and fruits. On the table was a collection of things for a charcuterie board, and of course, they didn’t forget about the cake. It was a simple, homemade spiced cake with fluffy frosting. Grillby had made it special for the occasion.
“We’ll want to get there early,” Gaster signed, “to avoid the crowd.”
Grillby nodded, “Bring the… wine?”
Gaster knew just what wine he was talking about. “I believe we have one more bottle left.”(Grillstertember prompts: Anniversary and Traditions)

An icy rush of wind blustered through the entryway and through to his bones. Gaster blinked out into the white world before him and saw… more white. It took him a moment to realize that he couldn’t see the neighbors across the street, or the street.

Summary
Grillby was working one morning. The smell of freshly roasted coffee filled the empty restaurant. A red string caught his eye, something only he and his soulmate could see. It was still tied to his pinky and trailed out beyond his restaurant as it always had for years.
The bell chimed above the door. Grillby looked up just in time to see a skeleton rushing to the bar. His collar was turned up with his undone tie swinging over his shirt. He shoved his leather satchel onto the polished wood and quickly signed, “One black coffee.”
