During his brief time in the clan, a specific member has shown an animus feeling and impression toward him. The second ranking in the clan, Yamada Asaemon Shugen. Despite his feelings, he seems to always be involved with him. That be redirecting, scolding, or even sleeping in the same room as him. Shugen has more concerns, such as being summoned by the Shogunate himself. There, he is brought to punish the members of the Silver Serpent Yakuza Gang. Single handedly, he executed all 20 members, but also mercilessly slaughtered every member’s relative. Since this event, Shugen was not only given a blade named Fuributsu Kaneaki, but also seemed to be a different person. Almost as if it had tested not only his beliefs, but also his morale and what he’ll really strive for in the name of justice. As his hardships grow, he has yet to notice the attentiveness Jikka has for him. Concerning both the recent event, and especially Shugen himself. Not only is he interested, but also seemingly concerned. These are foreign feelings Jikka has never experienced fully. How can these news perspectives and experiences affect one another?
