Summary
Ashe Ketchum was, for the given value of the phrase, used to stumbling headfirst into weirdness. She doesn't actually want to admit how many dimensions she's travelled to, accidentally or otherwise. This time was a little bit more different than 'the usual'.
3 days after having made new friends, and helping one of said new friends with their Pokémon problem, Ashe and her new friends, Bree and Emily, have been caught unaware and unprepared by something they couldn't have predicted; and now the young women, and their teams, must navigate the new perils and perspectives offered by a whole new world.
There's a catch- well, a couple of catches- but the most pressing ones are that the new dimension doesn't have any other Pokémon, but there are still monsters; Ashe had a vision of Arceus as she went careening through the portal and it seemed very, very angry; and worst of all, the trio are all 16 again!

“This is so cool…” Floyd whispers to himself excitedly as he quickly opens the folder, not caring what the meaning of the project could be.
Inside, there are reports written in the same unfamiliar language. But what catches Jade’s attention is the photograph. It is obviously very old. The edges have yellowed with age and the photo had been taken in black and white.
Floyd notices as well and carefully picks up the photo. The photo is of a boy who appears to be around their age. He has short, wavy hair and a small scar on the bridge of his nose. He isn’t smiling. His eyes look empty.
