As soon as the playful trumpet and brass quartet of Glenn Miller filled the room, Steve felt he had been punched in the gut. He stumbled back to sit down on the sofa, left queasy with the familiarity of the song. His head swirled with images of Bucky, with his father’s hand-me-down suits hanging off of him, flapping wildly as he danced energetically to the up-beat music. He was such a charmer, Steve never stood a chance.
