After Jonathan and his twin brother Nathaniel had moved into a new house after leaving the nest, Jon had discovered a few strange things - a weird sobbing noise. Then Nathaniel disappeared. But when he came back, he was... Different. Too different. He was scared, as if he saw something that he didn't want to see. Then he came into the doorway after returning to the basement again, and this time, he wasn't alone... Along with the creature a constant reminder of his brother's death, Jon also struggles to cope with the loss of his brother and the other half of his life, the one way he connected with the world. Now with his only reason for living gone, will Jon connect to the past and be able to find help, or will he be stuck in the house with the creature until it decides to turn him into another skin to use to lure other humans to eat, or whatever the creature does with them? Or was it just a state of hallucination? He certainly doesn't know.
