Summary
He never knows if he’s caught his attention and interest until he does. There’s always a bite - a tugging kind of challenge, something that flashes quick between them and he’s left to follow along after. To choose; to back away or to lift his chin, meet the provocation.
When he leans against the wall, he lets his legs settle a little further than a proper shoulder-width apart, it's an answer and taunt in one. Canting his hips up by nothing more than an inch - nothing that someone would see and think anything of, unless they were looking for it. Unless they’re someone like Dot Cottan, always looking for an in.
