Summary
In the year 1908, off the coast of Maine, sits the storybook village of Meadowlark.
With the acquisition of the Black Family wealth, Regulus Black used his share to open a Print shop with the help of Dorcas Meadows where they print weekly newsletters. His life is full, and he is happy. Though, his love life is stalled by a decade long crush on James Potter, who works across the street at a Bakery with his loving wife and son.
Regulus is content to watch from afar, however, when his heats begin to become unbearable after his 30th birthday, Regulus decides he must give up his fantasies and begin searching for an alpha, a partner to share his life with.
One night, Regulus decides to write down his explicit dreams of James as a way to put his fantasies to rest before he moves on. Thus, he writes the story of Edwin and John. What he doesn't realize is that Dorcas finds the writings and decides to anonymously add it to the Meadowlark newsletter.
What will the small conservative town think of two men falling in love? What will James think once he reads it?
