“Jason’s been… de-aged.”
There's a long, thick moment of silence.
Dick’s brain does not— will not— process the word.
He stares at the phone like it’s just said something in a language he doesn't speak.
De-aged.
The word sits there, heavy and wrong, refusing to connect to anything meaningful. His brain skids around it, searching for context, logic, a punchline— anything that makes sense.
It doesn't find one.
“...What?” He finally says, his voice flat despite how hard his pulse has started to thud in his ears.
Bruce doesn't answer right away.
Jason gets turned into a toddler and it's up to Dick to take care of him.

She had thought, all those years, that she was just crazy. The doctors explained so. Schizophrenia tends to runs in the families. She can’t run faster than that. But if it was only that, just bad hallucinations, why did Jason die at the end? He was just another lost kid in the same street she lived at. She still lives there. If it was just mommy’s illness, why did she feel him die in her own bones? Even worse: why did she feel him come back to life?
Or, Red Hood meets a probably neurotic woman obssesed with the idea she could have stopped his death. Jason Todd comes back to life and it feels like it alwats did in the begining: forceful, miserable, and confusing.

Jason doesn't remember anything, but the body remembers, the soul remembers, and he acts on instincts. He knows that Alfred is kind, that Barbara is a safe person, and he knows that Bruce isn't.
He can't shake the feeling that something bad is going to happen to him, and that feeling gets worse every time Bruce gets near.
Bruce wants a fresh slate, Jason is terrified.

Summary
Some SIOCs get reborn as chosen ones and get the full Isekai experience with loving families and prophecies about saving the world. I got Crime Alley, a drug-addicted mother, useless piece of shit father, and Jason Todd as my baby brother.
Finding out that my junkie mum was actually disgraced Unseelie Fae nobility and I was a bit too much like her didn't make things better. If anything, it made them infinitely worse. Turns out, inheriting otherworldly nonsense powers doesn't mean getting a fairy tale ending when you're stuck in Gotham's most dangerous neighborhood with a baby to protect and bills that won't pay themselves.
Jason was the only good thing in this second life I never asked for. Everyone else, from two-bit dealers to the Dark Knight himself, could go to hell. So I did what any responsible older sister would do: I turned to crime.
If the universe wanted a Mary Sue, it seriously miscalculated.
Rated T for heavy themes, violence, and (justified) extensive profanity. Read the tags for potential TW.

Summary
Nightwing nods again. “Yeah, I am. Can you tell me your name?”
The boy frowns, thinking it over, before he nods, seemingly calmed by the blue insignia in front of him.
Timidly, he speaks. “My name is Jason.”
Nightwing falters as everything clicks into place. The tracker, the bike, the lack of Red Hood anywhere in the vicinity, and the fact that this boy is wearing a hoodie that’s at least five sizes too big for him.
This boy is Jason Todd.
Or,
Red Hood disappears on patrol and Nightwing finds a child in his place. Dick takes it upon himself to take the boy in.
