The class reunites to celebrate Karma's birthday, and Asano just wants to spend the day (night) with his boyfriend.
If Gakushuu is being honest, he didn't have any plans for Christmas this year, being too swamped with work. Maybe he would've refilled on his sleep or just laze around in his apartment and watch a Netflix movie or two.

“Why.” Neil demanded sharply, sprawled in an armchair with deceptive casualty, his hands gripping the armrests as one might imagine a defensive cat would.

OR: Neil is on the run from his father's men, and has been for his entire life. Except now, the Stuart crime family has allied with him, after saving him from his father and killing him in the aftermath, and Neil is much more powerful and dangerous than he has been before. The Moriyama family, however, still wants him, and Neil must go to drastic measures in order to gain his freedom.
OR: I put Neil in that one AU where Character A has to be married soon, but will only marry someone who can befriend their "cat". Character B befriends the "cat" and Character A, and the two are married. After some angst, of course.
