If I give a suggestion, you can assume I'm fine with you using it! Make fanfic of my fanfic if you want, I don't care - I feel anything else would be hypocritical.
I like fanfic as a form of critique. I like logic puzzles and what ifs.
I /really/ wish there was a way to get this site to autofilter out all the porn without plot stories. There's just so much of it, ugh. I had tampermonkey at one point but it spontaneously stopped working.
A realllly long time ago, when I was a human kitten, I wrote one of those edgy pokemon fanfics comparing it to slavery. I couldn't figure out why my critique was falling so flat and so easily retorted back with 'they like it!'
As an actual adult, I realized that sometimes the better critique isn't something darker and edgier, but something showing a better world and what that would actually look like. So, I guess I did learn one valuable lesson from fanfic.
