Summary
On December 18th, 1998, Kerry wakes up to a freezing morning and a still-sick Carter. Neither are particularly unexpected: it's Fall in Chicago, moving into Winter, and Carter's been feeling unwell for a few days now; but it still makes her click her tongue in sympathy when she finds him asleep at the kitchen table again, swathed in his dressing gown, cheek pressed to the woodgrain while the rest of his skin glistens with sweat.
OR
After getting exposed to TB in S5, Carter develops an infection right before Christmas which soon threatens his life.
