Summary:

The problem wasn’t really the talking. Geralt had heard humans talking constantly every time he’d been within a quarter-mile of civilization his entire adult life. No, it wasn't the talking at all. The trouble with Jaskier was that he cared about the answers.

In which Geralt learns to face himself, his relationships, and his place in a human-dominated world. Taking place in the gap between the meeting in Posada and the banquet in Cintra, this story explores growth, trauma recovery, mental health, friendship, family, and societal bigotry.

Notes:

For anyone watching my author page and worrying, Glacier is very much not abandoned. I bit off a little more than I could chew in terms of IRL stuff recently and it's hard to find the right headspace to work on the edits. I'm doing Voiceteam to try and ease back into that headspace from a different perspective--reading and podficcing--and so I'm spending some time rereading Glacier and sharing it with you guys over another format. Hopefully in the next couple weeks, there will be a new chapter of the written version. Painting a whole house is a lot of work, friends!
