4:12 P.M. - The Man’s Nest - Y/N
“Shit. They're good-!” Captain Man says while watching a video of a teenager fighting a shit ton of bank robbers.
“I bet I could teleport there and get them-” Miles replies.
“Do it- They could be a good addition,” He says.
Miles teleports in his classic yellow flame-like way.
And that's where you come in.
“What the hell-” You say, confused.
“Wait- you guys are Danger Force-!” You continue.
“No shit dumbass,” You hear a voice behind you.
You turn around to see a girl dressed in a large hoodie and ripped jeans. She has short, dark brown and red hair and chained, dangling earrings. “Shit- ok uhh- yOuRe PrEtTy-” you think to yourself, now blushing.
“Hi,” You manage to say.
“How's it goin-” She replies.
Damn. Her voice is smooth. You can already tell she’s the more… sarcastic one.
“So. What’s your name?” Someone else says.
“Y/N,” you reply.
“Mika,” She smiles.
“I’m Miles,” Oh- that’s the guy who teleported you.
“Hey, I’m Bose,” Another guy smiles.
“I’m Chapa,” The girl you saw introduces herself.
“DON'T TELL THEM YOUR NAMES, YOU IDIOTS-!!” You hear Captain Man shout.
“Woah there buddy- I’m not gonna tell anyone!” You try to defend yourself.
“Well, I think we can all agree that this kid needs to at least prove themself-?” Chapa shoots back.
“Fair enough I guess. Ay, remember that time I tested you guys to see if I could trust you?” Captain Man says, chuckling to himself.
Everyone looks at each other, then at him. You immediately draw the conclusion it’s a mildly awkward or sensitive topic.
“Well- uh anyways- welcome to the team Y/N-!” Mika smiles. You can tell that she’s a very uh- energetic person.
“Wow- uh- ya know I haven’t even been here for 10 minutes!” You laugh.
“Yes yes that’s where the tests come in,” Captain Man admits.
“No shit-” You hear Chapa say under her breath.
Yep. No doubt about it. You have a crush on Chapa.
