Meredith was holding all of the pieces of papers.
“Do you want to do this?” Addison asked her wife.
“Yes. You?”
“Yes.” They entered the tattoo shop together. They have decided that since they can’t wear rings at the hospital, they can have tattoos. They wanted to include their children and they wanted a matching one. Meredith had an idea a couple of weeks ago. They would draw little stars and the artist can put together a little shooting star for their wrists. Now, they were waiting for the artist to put her design. It wasn’t the same tattoo. They had drawn for each other and each of their kids drew differently for both of them. Meredith was the first to sit on the couch. She showed her arm to her wife.
“How does it look?” She smiled.
“It looks lovely.” Addison held her hand while her wife was clearly in pain. When it was finished, it was Addison’s turn.
“It hurts.” She squeezed Meredith’s hand.
“Not that much, honey.” She kissed her wife.
“This made it better.” She smiled.
“It’s done.” She looked at arm and smiled at her wife.
“Okay, now I’m definitely stuck with you.” She chuckled.
“Why? Are you planning to go somewhere?”
“Not without you, ever again.” They kissed.
