After the Great War between Humans and Monsters, it had come to a draw and a truce was made between the two races. Along with the races there were Skeleton’s — a hybrid between Humans and Monsters — which were almost wiped out during the war…
Skeletons are known to have strong magic and can be born with DETERMINATION — depending on the trait a Skeleton is born with, they will have color markings commonly found on their faces and tails. Due to Skeleton’s being able to have DETERMINATION they were hunted and sold on the Black Market nearly making them extinct… To prevent this from happening, Skeleton’s went into hiding and soon became myths and legends. Over time, people and monsters started to tell stories about the horrors of skeleton monsters and how they take away bad children and eat them…
2,000 years later…
In a small town called Ebottville — home of both Humans and Monsters — A young skeleton named W.D Gaster, with the soul trait of Bravery, Patience and Determination, didn’t want his two sons to hide in the dark for the rest of their lives. So one day, when the oldest was 15 and the youngest was 11 years old, Gaster went into town, determined too achieve a good future for his sons. Unfortunately, out of fear, the village attacked the skeleton killing him in the process, leaving his two sons alone and traumatized at the sight…
8 years later…
The oldest skeleton, Sans, is now 23 years old and the youngest skeleton, Papyrus, is now 19 years old.
The two live in a small cottage away from Ebottville, only ever entering the small town for clothes and supplies, the skeleton brothers only ever go into town for about once every 6 months. Papyrus would leave for town and Sans would help with the crops, they never had to worry about any of the villagers finding their home as they never ventured out too far into the woods due to the scary stories about the big bad skeleton’s that lived there.
That is until a young human named Frisk, traveled a deep into the forest one day in search of these so called Skeleton’s…
