do you think yoongi is going to survive THIS photoshoot? with mimi being all shy about it and blushed just as rosy as the flimsy fabric he's wearing? and constantly searching for yoongi's eyes cuz it makes him feel more safe?
in the second part of this shoot another male model is supposed to join him, but mimi isn't comfortable being so close to a stranger while wearing barely anything.
he tries hard to stay professional and power through it. but the photographer isn't satisfied with the outcome, complaining that mimi isn't as loose and natural as usual. only yoongi notices how uncomfortable the younger is.
yoongi is churning with a mixture of jealousy over mimi being so close to another man, and simple anger about the fact mimi is forced into this uncomfortable situation.
in the end the photographer is frustrated and announces a break so mimi can gather himself and hopefully perform better again afterwards. the man isn't even done with his announcement when mimi is already flinging himself into yoongi's arms, seeking shelter.
despite this never having happened before, yoongi instantly takes off his suit jacket and wraps it around the younger before cradling the smaller, curled-up body tightly against his chest. he sits down on a chair with mimi in his lap, crooning soft words and stroking one hand over the boy's hair, cheek, and back. feeling safe, mimi goes wholly pliant, all tension falling away.
the photographer observes them, and seeing how easily intimate the model is with his bodyguard, asks yoongi to take the other model's place instead. the pictures will be focused on mimi anyway, not showing his partner's face. mimi gasps and blushes even brighter than his clothes. yoongi looks down at him and asks the younger if he would be okay with that. "y-yes." mimi mumbles without managing to look yoongi in the eyes, fingers fiddling with yoongi's shirt.
but yoongi gently hookes one finger under mimi's chin. "are you sure, sweetheart? please look at me and say it again, yeah?" it's the first time yoongi has called him by a pet name. mimi's heart raches and his eyes instinctively fly up. "yes" he breathes in a whisper.
so yoongi gets ushered away to get into costume, mimi using the time to try calming down his heart and his blazing cheeks. but it's all for naught when yoongi finally comes back out.
this time the photos exceed even the highest expectations. mimi is the epitome of pliant, delicate beauty. rosy and comfortable. shyly preening. his whole body is tingly from the close proximity to yoongi. from the low rumble of soothing praises the elder mumbles every now and then, from the big hand sliding over or holding onto his bare skin... mimi is barely conscious of the camera anymore. mind occupied with the pleasant closeness to his bodyguard.
yoongi notices that the younger becomes a bit whoozy. pliant, sweet and needy like a snuggly kitten. it makes him want to whisk mimi away from the camera and somewhere private, so he isn't so exposed in his current headspace.
yoongi ends the photoshoot, not giving into the photographer's whining. he has more than enough photos now. again yoongi takes of his jacket and wraps mimi into it, then picks the younger up and carries him into the dressing room, demanding to be let alone with the model. mimi remains pliant and content while yoongi gently wipes away the barely visible makeup. yoongi has to summon all his will power to not bend down and kiss those pink, pillowy lips, or do other stuff to the half-naked ball of curled mimi in his arms.
but he does leave an experimental peck on the younger's forehead, telling him how well he did. mimi whines shyly and squirms a bit, hiding his face in yoongi's chest.
a/n i'm...very bad at writing endings lately T_T lemme just tell you that it takes a bit of time due to mimi's shyness, but he does end up getting taken on dates and fucked in dressing rooms (and beds)🥰
