Thor got out of the shower and stood in front of the mirror.
He smiled, “damn,I look good” he said aloud. He rubbed his belly and flexed for a moment.
He never for one moment felt bad about his weight ,nor did he tolerate anyone making him feel bad for it. Hell,for one he was stronger and more powerful than whoever it was that was trying to shame him for his appearance. But,it wasn’t just that.
Bruce always made a point of letting Thor know that he was the most beautiful man he’d ever seen. He heard a knock at the door. “Thor,you coming out?” Bruce asked.
“Yeah,I’ll be a moment.” Thor said grabbing his towel and drying himself off.
He opened the door and walked into their bedroom. “What were you doing?” Bruce asked.
“Basking in my godly physique.” Thor said walking over to the dresser and pulling out a pair of boxer briefs. “Without me” Bruce said feigning disappointment. Once thor pulled up his underwear he walked up to Bruce and stood before him.
“Never without you,Bruce.” Thor cupped Bruce’s face in his hands and kissed him softly.
“So,what are we to do?” Bruce asked. “I never thought that we’d ever end up here.”
“It’s a new world.” Thor said. “After everything we went through because of thanos .”
The doorbell rang and Bruce jumped up to answer it.
When he opened the door he was surprised to see who was behind it. “Leonard?” Bruce said aloud.
“Hi,Bruce.” Leonard said. “ can I come in?” Bruce stood back and let Leonard in.
“how can I help you?” Bruce asked. “Oh sorry,this is my husband thor.”
“You mean Donald Blake?” Leonard said. “Or since you’re married, Donald Banner.”
“Actually ,on our marriage certificate it says Blake.”Bruce says.
“Well,Betty was convinced that you wouldn’t want to come.” Leonard said.
“Come to what?” Bruce asked. “To our house,for dinner.” Leonard answered.
“I would love to come to your place for dinner.” Bruce said. “Or should I say we.”
Leonard looked at both men and smiled. “Then it’s a date.” Leonard said.
“We’ll see you on Thursday night.” Leonard said. “Ok,I’ll walk you out.” Thor said.
Bruce looked surprised and then confused. Thor came back into the living room.
“Bruce,what’s wrong?” Thor asked. “Will it be strange being at their home?”
“Kinda yeah,I mean I haven’t spoken to her at all since we arrived back here.” Bruce explained.
“Now, I’m just randomly showing up at her home for dinner.”
“I see.” Thor said.” I kinda meant the other thing.” Bruce looked at Thor and smiled.
“I haven’t thought about her like that in decades.” Bruce said.”plus I’ve been kinda preoccupied.”
Thor smiled at that. “Does the alter ego thing bother you?” Bruce asked.
“Cause I just realized that I called you by your real name and Leonard called you by the other name.” “It doesn’t bother me,but I know why we do these things.” Thor said.
“What about you,David Blake?” Thor asked. “I spent half my life not really knowing who I am.” Bruce explained. “Bruce banner and Bruce Krenzler are not the same people.”
“But since returning to earth,I’ve realized that I’m neither of those men.” Bruce said.
“This new man that I’ve discovered,he’s who I am now.” Bruce said.
“I Love him.” Thor said wrapping his arms around bruce. “I love you too.” Bruce said.
“I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you.” Bruce said. “ you saved me,thor.”
“You saved me as well, bruce.” Thor said.
The couple sat on the couch,Bruce’s arm around Thor and Thor’s head on the older man’s shoulder.
