Summary
Ben might be willing to blindly trust the transfer students that have been trapped on a prison island their entire lives, but Audrey was not. She kept a close eye on them, and when her team intercepted Mal’s attempted love potion (stealthily, of course, because they would be pathetic future rulers of Auradon if they couldn’t do that much), she decided they needed to be a bit more proactive. As much as she would love to turn the VKs in, she wanted to support Ben’s first decree.
They couldn’t be sent back to the Isle, but they could be distracted, and hopefully while they were distracted they would forget any evil plans they had entirely.
This process turns out to be substantially sexier than it should.
