It was thunder storming outside and the young princess ran through the dark forest, desperately searching for the hotel that her mother and father sent her to right before they were taken hostage. The princess of Sarasaland, a tall long haired brunette woman named Princess Chrysanthemum, was wearing a cloak heard the clamoring and yelling from the koopa troopas behind her. They were gaining on her and if she didn't find this place soon, she to would be taken as a prisoner like her mother, father, aunt, uncle, and cousin. Christie panted and looked around. Must find this resort. Must find this resort. Christie spotted it. A hotel that looked exactly like the one her parents had shown her.
She wasted no time in sprinting towards the doors. Christie pounded on the front door, desperately trying to get in. "Hello! Is anybody there?? PLEASE! I NEED HELP!!!" Christie cried, close to tears. The doors opened up and a ghostly bellhop and a ghostly butler greeted her. "Princess Chrysanthemum? Come in, come, come" Christie ran inside and collapsed on the steps. The bellhop closed the door he and the butler floated to her side. "M'Lady. What brings you here?" the butler asked. Christie was so exhausted that she passed out. "Oh stars. Shivers, take Princess Chrysanthemum up to floor 5F. I'll tell Chambrea to ready a room for her" the bellhop said. "Okay Steward" Shivers said and carefully carried Christie in his arms.
A orange ghost wearing a chef's hat and a chef's outfit floated out of the kitchen and into the grand lobby. The ghost spotted Christie and disappeared. The chef ghost reappeared in a lab. "Ahem. Monsieur E. Gadd" the ghost addressed a small man in a white lab coat. "Oh Chef Soulffle. Thought you were in the kitchen" he said. "I was but then I heard commotion in the Grand Lobby. Curious, I went out there to see Princess Chrysanthemum being carried by Shivers. It looked like she had fainted" Soulffle said. "Oh Princess Christie! Luigi and Daisy's daughter! Thank you for telling me this Soulffle" E. Gadd said and he and the ghost went out of the lab and up to floor 5F. In room 503, Chambrea, the chamber maid ghost was tucking Christie into the bed that Luigi had stayed in. "Poor madame Chrysanthemum" she sympathized. There was a knock at the door and E.Gadd entered. "How's she doing Chambrea?" he asked. "She's resting now. In time she'll wake up" Chambrea assured. "We should let her rest. C'mon Soulffle. Chambrea, tell me straight away if anything changes" E. Gadd ordered. "Of course Master E. Gadd" Chambrea said. The professor and the chef ghost left the room, leaving Chambrea to continue tidying up.
A few hours later, Chambrea was washing Christie's cloak when she heard movement in room 503. The maid dropped what she was doing and rushed to the princess's side. Christie had sat up in the bed and was looking around frantically. "Madame Chrysanthemum! Please, lie back down, you're quite ill" Chambrea said. Christie looked at the ghost maid, frightened. "Who-who are you?" she asked before coughing. "I am Chambrea, the ghost maid and you are in Luigi's Resort" Chambrea said. "Oh, dad! Bowser has taken over the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland! Mom and dad sent me here to get help! We have to-" Christie was cut off when she started coughing violently again. E. Gadd rushed in through the doorway. "Princess Christie! Thank goodness you're alright! How are you feeling?" he asked. "Are *cough* are you Professor Elvin Gadd? *cough*" Christie asked. "Yes. I am Professor E. Gadd. It's good to meet you Princess Christie" E. Gadd replied. "I need your help. My kingdom has been invaded and taken over by Bowser. He's got my mom, my dad, my aunt Peach, my uncle Mario, and my cousin Princess Dawn as prisoners. Mom and dad sent me for your help" Christie explained.
"Well, before you do anything, you need a rest, Your Highness. You caught a rather bad cold while you were out in this storm so you need to stay here for a while and get your strength back up" Chambrea said. "But, my family, my kingdom, they could all be destroyed! I can't just sit here while my family and kingdom *cough, cough, cough, cough* suffers" Christie protested. E. Gadd placed a hand on the princess's bed. "I'll send King Macfrights, Serpci, Bogmire, Captain Fishhook, and Biff Atlas to go see what the situation is with the Mushroom Kingdom and Sarasaland. In the meantime, I insist you rest Princess Chrysanthemum. Nikki, Ginny, and Lindsey will be up with some cold medicine and Shivers will bring you some hot soup. I insist that you rest" E. Gadd said. Christie sighed and laid back down. E. Gadd and Chambrea left. A few minutes later, as Christie was nodding off, s knock came at her door. "C-c-come i-i-in" she said, her voice had started to get hoarse and she felt weak all over her body. Chef Soulffle entered the room. "Madame Chrysanthemum. What kind of soup would you like?" he asked. Christie smiled weakly. "I'd *cough* like some mushroom stew if you please Chef" she said. Soulffle bowed and exited the room, closing the door behind him. A few minutes later, three identical triplet magician ghosts came into the room. “Your Highness, Princess Chrysanthemum. We’ve got your cold medicine. I am Nikki. These are my sisters Ginny and Lindsey” one of the triplets said. Ginny gave Christie a cup of sparkling pink liquid. Christie drank the medicine and gave it back to Ginny. “My *cough, cough* dad told me how he fought three magician ghosts. I’m assuming that’s you three?” Christie guessed. “Ah Luigi. He’s a good man. Very clever” Lindsey said fondly. "You think of him fondly even though he defeated all three of you?" Christie asked, surprised. "Of course. Fighting against him was fun" Ginny said. "We gave it all we could but he still beat us in the end. He's quite admirable" Nikki added. Christie smiled but then she felt something churning in her stomach. An uneasy feeling. Nikki, Ginny, and Lindsey realized this. "Uh, Chambrea, get a bowl NOW!" Ginny shouted. Chambrea appeared out of nowhere with a bowl and Nikki shoved it infant of Christie just as a barrage of vomit came rushing out of Christie's mouth. It came in spurts and it got all over the bowl. Christie panted and looked up at the ghosts who looked a mixture of worried and horrified at what they had just witnessed. "Th-thank y-you Ch- Cham- Chambrea" Christie said, exhausted. Chambrea took the bowl. "Of course You're Highness. I'll just get this washed for you" Chambrea disappeared and Christie fell back and her head hit the soft pillow, she coughed a bit before her eyes closed. Nikki and Ginny left the room.
