Chapter 1: List

  1. She was terrified of Kiwi.

 

  1. Sometimes it was easier to talk to Jeremie through a computer screen.

 

  1. She loves her pink hair, but she loves the normalness that blonde hair gives her.

 

  1. She can never repay her friends for what they’ve done for her.

 

  1. She is a disaster in the kitchen.

 

  1. She’s one of the smartest in class, but sometimes she feels lightyears behind everyone else.

 

  1. Odd complains about his sisters, but Aelita thinks they’re all wonderful.

 

  1. Her first kiss is with Odd, but they don’t count it.

 

  1. She misses her parents less than what she expects to.

 

  1. The others tell her Ulrich and Sissi used to be friends, she still isn’t sure how since they’re so different (until she does).

 

  1. Sometimes she worries her questions are a nuisance, but Yumi always smiles and answers her patiently.

 

  1. Odd spends every Tuesday afternoon tutoring her in Norwegian.

 

  1. She was secretly relieved when the first materialization failed. Earth was so much bigger than Lyoko.

 

  1. When her friends ask what she remembers pre-Lyoko, she tells them she doesn’t remember anything. Sometimes it’s the truth, sometimes it’s a lie.

 

  1. The thing she likes most about DJ-ing is being in control and the meshing of different melodies.

 

  1. Sometimes she worries everything will fall apart after they leave Kadic.

 

  1. She gives up a scholarship to Sciences Po to see the world.

 

  1. She’s still surprised she convinces Jeremie to go skydiving.

 

  1. Before they deactivate everything, she sneaks back to the factory and visits Lyoko.

  1. She loves her friends, but she doesn’t truly feel like herself until she leaves Kadic.

 

  1. Jeremie kisses her beneath a star-dappled sky and it’s perfect.

 

  1. Her favorite moments in Norway are sitting in the kitchen with Odd’s mother, laughing and talking about school. She feels normal.
