can't live for 5 secs without you

Summary:

Azul could feel a vein popping from witnessing another one of the couple's daily occurrence...

Work Text:

“Should I bring the entire case…?  Hm well it’s just a small card case so yes it is!”

Azul says to himself, and recites the paperwork laid out on his table he’ll be bringing for the trip in Fleur City. A student exchange and a tour of the city is an opportunity to be blessed with,”Ah! I should also bring a few of those…” He mutters to himself and opens his vault to search for certain papers and possibly anything that could be of help to him for the trip. Then a few knocks on the door could be heard, followed with, “Azul. It’s me, may I come in?” Says Riddle from the other door.

The former couldn’t really be bothered at the moment and says, “Yes. Come in.” While still rummaging through his vault. Riddle then enters, “I came to drop these off, it’s the expenses for the clubs.” He says and drops off the paperwork on his table.

Azul then says, “Are they all accounted for with the previous list?” and the other replies, “Yes, there hasn’t been to be much of an issue. There are a few however that need to be revised, but that can be done later after the trip.”

“I see. Well, thank you for dropping these off. I’ll update you soon.” He gave his gratitudes and at the same time, he beams as he finds the files he was looking for. The other hums, “Alright, I’ll be off.”

But before Riddle could leave, Azul calls out to him, “Ah wait! I have a question." He was about to inquire more about the school trip as there hasn’t been any details given to him and figures his fellow housewarden might know a thing or two. However, turning around from the vault with file in hand to look at the other left him shocked.

Riddle stares at him with an expectant look and.. A vice housewarden of his was stuck to him like a leech, literally—Jade has both arms around the smaller boy’s shoulders, his tilted head placed on top of the other with an incredibly overly dramatic glum expression plastered all over his face. He takes a second to process the ridiculousness from his deputy director and says, “Never mind.. You seem to have much on your plate.” Riddle gives him an annoyed look, “Well, if you’d tell this leech off, I could very well help you.” Azul ignores the scornful tone aimed at him as to not get himself involved any further with them, “No. It’s quite alright, really.”

“Hmph! This is an unfair event, are you really leaving me alone, dear??” Jade wails, a tone that always seemed to be nails on board for Azul.

“The headmaster issued the lottery and I’ll only be gone for a few days.” Riddle retorts with an expression he’s always used to the other when he’s being stubborn like a troubled child. This wasn’t an unusual behavior of the leech—a vexing one if Azul were to describe as the fake facade was always used with hidden intentions for him and his twin. To have this used for Riddle however was simply just a different kind of dramatic whims as he’s deeply down bad for his boyfriend, the type who could not bear any minute to be apart.

“I must say, I am hurt to be left alone by you. It feels as if my heart is starting to crack every minute at the thought of you being away from me. I feel like crashing and making a mess out of the dorms.” Jade says, bringing a hand to his left eye to fake-wipe a tear.

Ignoring the last sentence, he replies, “I would’ve enjoyed the trip more if you were there, but there’s nothing else I can do. I might be able to buy you souvenirs.” and shifts his body to face the taller boy. Jade pouts, “Don’t you love me?’

Riddle then heats up, a widespread blush all over, “O-of course I do! But–” Jade cuts him, now back with his usual charming look, “Really? Then, can you show me?” eyes glistened with mischievous intent.

“Tsk! So it all comes down to this again.. Must you waste my time when I’m supposed to be busy packing?! Didn’t I tell you I’m only here for an errand?!” The red head scowls still having a reddened face and attempts to pull away but is met with an even firm grip from the other.

The eel then brings a pout to his face, “Is it too much to ask for affection from someone who’s leaving me behind all alone for a crucial period of time?“

“Can you cease these games at once! You’re being dramatic over it and..” Riddle glances to the side to keep his composure at place then continues, “it’s not like I’m leaving without saying goodbye. Of course I’m going to drop by before we leave.”

Jade then beams up, a dreadful sight to both of the housewardens except it’s also endearing for the smaller form despite the mischievous intent—then he pulls him even closer, “Well, don’t we have a little bit of time right now? I could certainly use some affections to remedy the aching heart that I feel.”

Riddle widens his eyes, “N-now? What if people walk in?” he says to which the former replies, “Oh nothing to worry about, everyone’s getting ready for the shift so I suggest you do it now before I regrettably part ways with you.” An incredible exchange of words that left the Octavinelle housewarden baffled by the lack of awareness or the blatant ignorance he’s facing by the two before him. He can’t even comment on anything as knows all too well that their antics are not worth his time.

The redhead then places both of his hands on the eel’s shoulders while the latter moves his arms to his waist—but before Azul could witness anything more than a galling sight from the pair of a lovesick couple, he immediately heads out of his office and Slam! He sighs, a part of his schedule has taken a different turn, but that’s fine as he could always get them back for this.
