Oh this is gorgeous! You have a beautiful and lyrical style to this that is almost like music. And the way you work in some of the key words and titles, the dreaming towers leading to the remorseful day - so many lovely memories have been invoked. Thank you!

    I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to seem nippy or rude there - I haven't seen all the Inspector Morse episodes yet and I've heard other people talking about a Tuesday so I wondered if I was missing something :-)

      I didn't take it as rude at all! I truly am glad you asked, because I had entirely missed that I'd put in the wrong name. And there are enough odd names in the Morse canon that it was a perfectly reasonable question.

        OK phew :-) Yeah I'm gonna have to familiarize myself with the Inspector Morse canon seeing as I'm obsessed with Endeavour. This piece is beautiful by the way, the sort of dreamy musical flow... its sort of soothing
