I am Uatu, the Watcher. Listen closely mortals for what I'm about to tell you, may change the course of history regarding the universe in which I stand. On the planet Earth exist beings known as Superheroes. They are protectors of their planet, champions of justice, and strive to become the best of humankind. However, there are those who wish to oppose these figures who go under the mantles of Supervillains. One such villain comes in the form of the dastardly wicked Victor Von Doom, also known by many as Doctor Doom.
Doom is the adversary of the legendary superhero team known as the Fantastic Four. For years they stirred a brutal rivalry, which then spewed onto other heroes like the Amazing Spider-Man, Earth's Mightiest Heroes like the Avengers, and even the uncanny X-Men. At some point, Doom had gathered some of the world's deadliest villains and dubbed themselves the Masters of Evil. Their plan was to cripple the superhero community, all the while Doom making his trek to the far reaches of space to retrieve the all-powerful M'kraan Crystal. This crystal is a nexus artifact kept locked away by the Shi'ar Empire. Doom was successful in his quest and took the M'kraan Crystal back to Earth, where he used its power to lay waste on his enemies.
Those who stood in his way fell victim to the new powers of Doom. Heroes and even villains who saw Doom as a threat were brutally murdered by the tyrannical villain. His power was enough to cause anger to even the gods of Asgard, who were also out-bested by the masked villain. The all-father Odin was a victim of Doom, as not only was he rendered into his Odinsleep prematurely, but was also stripped of his powers, transforming Doom into a God. Odin died in his slumber and Asgard was destroyed by Surtur, who Doom used to lay waste to the world that once held the home to the God of Thunder Thor.
Back on Earth, the Avengers had fallen, the X-Men were no more, and the Fantastic Four had sacrificed themselves in a last ditch effort to defeat Doom once and for all. With Doom ruling over the entire universe with an iron fist, no one stood a chance against him. But Doom made an ultimate mistake when he decided to use the M'kraan Crystal to tap into the Omniverse to examine all known realities that the crystal contained. This power opened various cracks within each universe throughout the Omniversal plane, causing the attention of the major inhabitants of each reality. But with their powers combined, they'll soon be able to defeat Doctor Doom and save the omniverse!
