Summary
It was a long night, and Sae periodically questioned why he was still there. Logically, he knew it didn't necessarily have to be him. After all, he was merely the first emergency contact due to paperwork technicalities, his manager had established this. Ego was still listed as the second emergency contact. Let Ego come and look after one of his projects. He’d ensure he was well after all the time he’d dedicated to him. And yet, despite this, Sae stayed. Why?
Shortly after the U-20 match, Sae, as Shidou’s emergency contact, receives a call from the hospital informing him that Shidou has been admitted. He goes to collect Shidou, and as they spend time together, their relationship continues to develop.
