Work Text:

“So you know, I let this happen because Pai was getting sad.” Luffy hummed. “Do better before you wind up dead. I refuse to lose anyone else even if I have to be the one to train you.”

Luffy didn’t tear his eyes away from the shrinking image of the Red Force on the horizon, his stomach turning with worry. His Mamãe was one of the emperors of the sea, his haki is supposed to rival Luffy’s in strength and superior to all others and yet…

His crew did not reflect that, his mamãe had grown slack in his years and partying. With the couple weeks that his Da was on his ship, Luffy had made sure that Beck partook in the training that he made his crew take every other day to keep their Haki in top form.

“You’re worried, but they’ll be fine Lu.” Zoro murmured as he came to lean against the railing, hand coming up to grip Luffy’s sash tight so he didn’t fall while deep in his thoughts.

“Nami defeated them with ease, I saw Chopper and Usopp take out several… There was no fight, no challenge even if they were trying to sneak abroad. Mãe’s haki was still loud, that we all knew he was close. They didn’t even try and it says so much because supposedly they were.” Luffy growled out frustrated, falling back into Zoro’s awaiting brace and further back more till he was sprawled on the grass.

Zoro hummed and took a seat next to his captain. “Then what do you plan to do, the crew wont mind if we take even more detours to keep them up to par.”

“No, that’ll be an insult in the eyes of others and would make Shanks seem weak.” Luffy groaned. “Stealing Beck was pushing it but everyone who knows wont say anything, but if its frequent and if they see us winning then it’ll be like whitebeard all over again.”

The groan that left Luffy’s lips was loud, he didn’t know what to do but the past week had shown Luffy a new aspect to an old fear and he worried that someone would take notice and use their lapse in Haki to take them out… Luffy wouldn’t survive the loss of his parents…

“Robin, can I have the Den Den?” He asked with a sigh, an idea forming in his mind. He can’t be seen constantly winning but he knew who could and his Vovô would probably do it with a laugh and a smile.

“Here you go Captain,” Robin murmured as she passed along the Den Den fondly before returning to her book.

Luffy accepted the den den with a grateful hum before wandering across the deck to take up his favorite spot. If he lightly trailed a hand across Robin’s shoulder as he passed, well, Luffy loved few more than he loved his hard won crew. The action earned him a hand sprouting from Sunny’s mane that squeezed his shoulder comfortingly before vanishing a small burst of flowers. Yeah, Luffy adored his crew.

Luffy took the time to make sure the cuff Franky had made to keep him from falling off the figurehead was securely attached before picking up the small snail once more. Distractedly he reminded himself to thank Robin for also passing along their stolen white den den too as he rattled off the string of numbers that would connect him to his adoptive grandfather. He couldn’t afford to have the marines overhear this and find out about the glaring weakness leaving his family open to attack.

It took much longer than he would have liked before Rayleigh finally picked up the call. Nonetheless, he was glad when the old legend did because the repeated puru-puru-puru of the snail got old fast. Alas it was also clear as day that Rayleigh was in the middle of one of his infamous binges or recovering from one.

‘Somebody better be dead, bleeding, or dying!’ Rayleigh growled out roughly. ‘Or at least in mortal peril!’

“Sorry, Vovô,” Luffy soothed gently. “I didn’t know who else to call.”

Oh, Luffy, it’s you! ’ Rayleigh huffed his voice drifting from angry and agitated to fond and excited. ‘Sure, kid, what’s going on?’

“Mãe and his crew need help!” Luffy said anxiously. “And I can’t because then people might think they’re weak and try to hurt them! But, Vovô, they need help!”

This got anything to do with the papers going on and on about you kidnapping my brat’s first mate?’ Rayleigh questioned, the snail mirroring the old man’s look of amusement. ‘They’re not weak because you managed to steal him, kid. Your haki suppression is certifiably insane.’

“They’ve gotten weak because they couldn’t steal him back !” Luffy nearly shouted before lowering his tone last minute. Nami had been working late on her maps and it left her with a bad headache but she refused to just stay inside and rest for the day. “ Nami was overpowering Mãe’s Officers easily. That was even after we stopped trying to catch them. Da only went home because I let them take him.”

‘Surely it’s not that bad, kid?’ Rayleigh asked. Luffy could be prone to exaggeration, yes, but this was starting to sound more like one of his long nose sniper’s stories over fact.

“Da didn’t know he wasn’t on his own ship until we were two islands away.” Luffy deadpanned. “It took until Mãe woke up naturally for him to realize Da wasn’t on the ship or the island that they were partying on.”

The silence on the other end of the den den was telling, he didn't even need to look at the snail's face to see his Vovô's angry stare. Thankfully he spent the time Da was on his ship to get haki training in, at least now Luffy didn't have to worry as much but still…

Who was on watch?’ Rayleigh asked gruffly and Luffy smirked, knowing that his Tio was going to be getting a lot of observation training.

“Yasopp, he was asleep.” Luffy replied, still smirking.

‘Of all things… I never would have guessed that I would have to retrain one of my brats but here we are.’ Rayleigh muttered.

Luffy just hummed before finally speaking again. “I’m scared, Vovô, I could have wiped out the entire crew in their sleep. I know my suppression is on a different level but still I’m not the only one that can do that. What happens when it’s someone that wants to hurt them that isn’t swayed by a yonko title?!”

‘Breathe, kid,’ Rayleigh mumbled soothingly. ‘ You know your haki goes crazy when you get too anxious. I’ll handle it, alright? Let your vovô deal with it, they’ll be safe again alright?’

The relief was immediate, because despite everything Luffy knew that Rayleigh would keep his word. Would his mamãe be mad? Probably. Does Luffy care that he essentially dobbed in his parents? Nope. Would he do it again? In every life without hesitation.

All knew that Luffy was protective of those he loved to the point that it could be suffocating if you weren’t exactly the same. His grin widened as he leant back against Sunny, laughter bubbling up in his throat at the images his mind conjured on what was about to happen to Shanks and his crew.

“Thanks Vovô.” Luffy breathed relieved.

Rayleigh chuckled softly, a dark glint in his eye as he cast a glance over at Shakky. He wished his grandson a goodbye and hung up, hands clenching down on the wooden top of the bar, a growl leaving his throat.

How could Shanks be so reckless? This was not how he, Rouge and Roger raised him, this is not what he was taught. Yes the Roger Pirates partied but they were never slack on their haki or training, not ever. Plus, if his grandson of all people were ringing him with concern then it must be bad.

“How long will you be away for?” Shakky asked softly as she wiped away the spilt drink.

“Likely a good while, love.” Rayleigh said gruffly as he scrubbed a hand down his face. “I need to see for myself if it’s really as bad as Luffy is saying but if it is Red is going to realize I was nice when I trained them as kids.”

“Mm,” Shakky hummed as she continued cleaning up. “Will you be taking a bag or are you planning to swim that far?”

“Gonna try to avoid it so yeah I’m taking a bag. Some of Newgate’s brats are down on Fishman Island.” Rayleigh said with a sigh. “I’ll get down there and hitch a ride to the other side of the mountain.”

“Stay safe.” Shakky said fondly as she leaned over the bar to press a kiss to his cheek. “And if you see our little monkey, give him some love for me.”

Rayleigh grinned as he got up to go gather a few things. “You know I will.”

It didn’t take long for Rayleigh to pack a few things and take a swim down to Fishman Island, his grin widening as he got closer and saw that one of the Miny Moby’s was still there like reported. Good, he really didn’t want to swim all the way towards Red but he would if he had to.

“Rayleigh!” Thatch called the moment he saw who had pulled themselves up onto the docks, catching Ace’s attention.

“What are you doing here old man?” Ace greeted without looking up from the crates he was inspecting.

Rayleigh felt a pang in his heart like he always did when he ran into Ace. He looked so much like his mother with Roger’s colouring, but the aches no longer a piercing pain but a dull one. Luffy’s insistent love and a few Fist of Loves, had mellowed the anger in the young devil fruit user that it was now a tolerant polite greeting instead of scorn.

“I was wondering if I could get a ride back over to the New World, it seems I need to pay Red a visit.” Rayleigh drawled out, eyes never leaving Thatch.

As much as he desired to stare at Ace, he had been warned by the Revolutionary brat and his grandson that it would be the fastest way for a fire fist to his face, so Rayleigh took great care not to upset him. Seemed the kid hadn’t just inherited Rouge's looks but her temper as well. He knew the chances of him ever being a dad to the brat passed with Rouge. Roger had felt Garp safest and he understood, he did . It didn’t mean it didn’t hurt like hell though.

“You haven’t gone past Fishman Island since your crew disbanded,” Thatch said as he squinted in Rayleigh’s direction. “What’s happened?”

“Mah, it’s just a favour for Red’s brat,” Rayleigh said with a wave of his hand. It would guarantee Ace agreeing to him joining the journey. No one can say no to Luffy after all. “You know how he gets.”

“Too well.” Thatch huffed. “Feels like Marco and Ace never shut up about him since Wano.”

“I will stop bragging about my little brother after death manages to beat me in a fight.” Ace grumbled as he hefted up two of the massive crates and walked them up the gangplank. “But does this have anything to do with Lu kidnapping Beckman?”

Thatch blinked and whipped his head around to stare at ace. “He did what? How?”

“Look, we don’t ask these questions. Bo and I stopped asking when Luffy vanished for a week and came back with a Snake Lord as a pet… even more so when he tamed the Lord of the Coast.” Ace explained as he dumped the cargo off to other crew members and leant against the railing. “Trust me, it’ll save you a lot of headaches if you go with ‘it’s Luffy’.”

A laugh escaped Rayleigh at that, hand coming to rub at the scar that sat just under his rib bone. His grandson was full of surprises and Rayleigh now has a new fear in life and that fear is a 5’9 bundle of sunshine with a pipe. He did not expect Luffy to be able to wield a weapon let alone something so simple but he did and he managed to slip under Rayleigh's guard and strike his side. He had never been prouder or more terrified.

“It is true, he even took me off guard,” Rayleigh explained with a smile. “But yes, it does indeed involve the brat stealing Beckman.”

Ace turned his gaze upon him for the first time since his arrival, those silver eyes so much like Roger but somehow he was able to replicate Luffy’s all seeing look but not with the same intensity. He felt naked under that gaze, where as with Luffy he felt it all the way to the soul.

“Alright, we can give ya a lift old man.” Ace replied simply. “I want the truth later though and stories of Luffy’s training.”

“Deal.” Rayleigh agreed without hesitation. The brat may not like him that much but they both could bond over the fact that they adored Luffy.

Three days into the journey Rayleigh had been thoroughly reminded of why he stayed far from the New World and already he wanted nothing more than to be back in Paradise. It wasn’t fear or nostalgia or anything like that that kept him out of the most dangerous sea. No, he hated it because it was too much fucking work. Especially running what was practically a skeleton crew.

Each Mini Moby could and typically did house 100 pirates with whichever commander acting as the ships “captain”. They were running half that and it was only 25 from Thatch and Ace’s divisions. For Thatch it made sense they had to feed Ace after all and granted each of them could and did more than pull their weight but for seas sake Rayleigh was exhausted.

A week into the trip Rayleigh was gleefully stealing a small sail boat and continuing on his journey alone. Did he pull a Luffy and manage to use his conqueror’s haki to have a sea king drag him? Maybe, maybe not. Either way he started carefully matching his haki presence to that of a sea bird as soon as he felt the barest brush of his son’s haki along his senses.

He scowled when not only did he get onto the ship completely undetected but he even got down into the ship, stole bedding, and made a cozy nest for himself in an empty crew cabin. He decided then and there to see how far it would go and he was going to give the entire crew hell in the meantime. It would seem Luffy hadn’t been exaggerating after all, even giving the rookie pirates among Shanks’ crew leeway, it became increasingly clear that he could wipe out the entire crew with none of them being any the wiser before it was their time to meet old Davy Jones.

Shanks felt a sort of foreboding in his bones, it was something he had began to feel a week or so after they left Anchor. He couldn't place it, but he knew something was wrong. Even the rest of the crew were on edge, many small fights breaking out over things being missing, footsteps in the dead of night… Some even started to claim the ship was haunted.

No matter how many times Shanks had laid his haki over the ship, he still couldn't find what was wrong and it always seemed that instances were worse after they docked and had a party. So it was safe to say that Shanks was paranoid and stressed.

“I don't know what it is Beck but there is something.” Shanks sighed as he slumped into the chair in their cabin, eyes scanning over more reports.

“I get it but we’ve been on the Red Force for over a decade with no loss of life amongst the crew.” Beck hummed sitting on the bed as he cleaned his rifle. “I doubt very seriously that our ship is suddenly haunted.”

“I don’t think the ship is haunted either!” Shanks half snapped before lifting up the stack of reports detailing strange things happening throughout different shifts and waving them in the air a bit. “But something or someone is pulling all this shit.”

“We’re most likely just extra paranoid over being thoroughly trounced by Anchor’s crew because of how lax our haki has gotten.” Beckman sighed. “Which we do need to find an island to hole up and train, not party. If it had been anyone other than Anchor we’d all be dead multiple times over and that can’t stand, Shanks.”

Shanks groaned and thunked his head on the table. “I know, I don't know when we got so lax. Some of the recruits still haven't been able to even use armament or observation. But it's fine, it's okay, we can start training… Just, we need to make sure that the old man doesnt find out, we do not want to do Rayleigh's training.”

Beckman shot his husband a look. “If it's anything like the training Anchor had me participate in, that he has his crew doing then I wholeheartedly agree.”

There was a familiar haunted look in Benn’s face when Shanks looks up at him, it was a familiar look that he and Buggy along with the Roger Pirates had when his Captain and Pops had training days. But it doesn't surprise him, he has seen first hand the power and control their son has over his haki, how seriously he takes it and the care of his crew. People always compare Luffy to him, sometimes Beckman but in all honesty, Luffy was very much like Rayleigh and Roger combined and it terrified him to think that his son would take up his threat and train them himself.

“So what’s the plan?” Rayleigh piped up leaning out of the bathroom where had been the whole time rearranging all of his son’s things and dumping dye into Beckman’s conditioner.

Shanks and Beck did not scream. They didn’t. Really. Rayleigh is just a dirty, lying liar who tells dirty, dirty lies…

“Rayleigh!” Shanks choked out, hand over his rapid heart. “Where in the Davy Jones locker did you come… Have you been here the whole time!? Are you the one that's been haunting my crew!?”

“I’ve been here for a week, so yes.” Rayleigh deadpanned. “I believe it’s time you get a refreshing course on finding people that can match haki signatures. A week, brat, a fucking week? I thought Luffy was exaggerating the piss poor state of your haki! !

“My son told on me!?” Shanks gasped in offense. “Betrayed by my sweet little Anchor!? You lie!”

“I’m going to quote this word for fucking word, brat. “I’m scared, Vovô, I could have wiped out the entire crew in their sleep. I know my suppression is on a different level but still I’m not the only one that can do that. What happens when it’s someone that wants to hurt them that isn’t swayed by a yonko title?!”” Rayleigh snapped out. “So answer the question, Shanks, where would you and your crew be had I wanted any of you dead?

All of Shanks’ anger and joking offence melted away at those words, he could picture his son’s face clear as day with them, the agony in those dark eyes, the tears and oh did it ache something fierce. His son had suffered a lot in his young life and Shanks didn’t want to be another burden upon his shoulders, neither did Beck.

“He only called me because if he whipped you lot back into shape it would look bad on you.” Rayleigh sighed.

“I didn’t think our haki had gotten this bad, that I had let it get this bad.” Shanks sighed, slumping back into his chair once again.

“Because you think like Roger. Your haki is a muscle and it has to be maintained just like any other.” Rayleigh grumbled. “You let yours get lazy and fat and have relied on your natural gifts and a meaningless title for protection over continuing to maintain it. It’s shit like that that had Luffy taking out not just one but two Yonkos his first year in the new world.”

Beckman grimaced as he placed his hand on Shanks’ shoulder, cutting off whatever his husband was about to say. “Captain, your haki is the strongest on board, even I admit… We may have relied on you too much to keep us safe.”

Rayleigh hummed in agreement. “So here I am, in the place I loathe to be, away from my wife and comforts to train you. I have a whole log book of issues Red, did you know that several of your crew have fallen asleep on watch since I have been here? You didn’t even wake up when I entered the room and I wasn’t even covering my Voice. The only one who has caught me so far is that monkey of yours.”

“A monkey noticed me before any of you.” Rayleigh deadpanned in the continued silence. “A monkey, Shanks.”

“That would explain Monster’s sudden weirdness.” Shanks murmured to Benn while grimacing.

“So this is what we are going to do, you are going to call up your fleet and allies to watch over your territories and I am going to go have a talk with your navigator to direct them to an Island. We are going to train daily till I am satisfied that all of you are up to snuff.” Rayleigh stated firmly and Beckman got the first look ever at The Dark King, the right hand man of Gol D. Roger. “If I have to report back to my grandson that his Mamãe and Papai are slacking then believe me you will not like the consequences.”

Rayleigh really did not want to make that call, but he would if it got his son and the crew to work harder. Disappointing Luffy was like kicking a puppy, or worse, just… he has the same pouty face Roger made and it caused a weird sort of panic within him that urged him to do whatever it took to fix it.

Beckman and Shanks winced, both men having received that look before, Beckman more recently which had him going toe to toe with Jinbe to practice his armament and Usopp with his Observation throughout the days. It was hell . His son was a task master when he wanted to be, for all that he was fun loving he kept on top of his crew training their haki for at least a few hours every other day. He dreaded what he was in for under Rayleigh.

“And since I don’t have Shakky’s home brew Whisky, none of you get to drink until I’m satisfied with your haki.” Rayleigh grumbled before sweeping out of the room with a muttered, “Fuck, I need a drink.”

A startled scream and banging was heard a couple minutes later and both rushed out of their cabin to the Navigation libraries just to find Rayleigh staring blankly at the crew member that he’d scared the daylights out of. The look soon slid his way and Shanks felt part of his soul wither and die under it.

A fully sober Rayleigh was the Rayleigh that kept the King of the Pirates in line and he had descended upon the Red Force with the full weight of a man with the thought process of learn or die trying. Because he actively tries to kill his students.

Shanks could still hear the chipper tone Rayleigh used on him and Buggy when he said ‘ the threat of death is a wonderful motivator’ when they were brats causing chaos on the Oro. It was going to be a long few months.

“I need you to divert course to this island, here are the coordinates.” He explained dryly, handing over everything that the navigator would need. It also said a lot about his reputation that the young pirate did as asked without hesitation, but he shot his son another look.

“He’s new, Pops, be nice.” Shanks pleaded. “He didn’t know you’re my dad.”

Rayleigh just hummed in the unimpressed way that had Shanks flashing back to his ten year old self on the Oro. “Gather everyone not necessary to keep the ship sailing on deck. Training starts now .”

Over the next few days till they got to the island that Rayleigh wished for them to stop at was brutal. The man had constantly struck out at them till they could avoid being struck, if they couldn't avoid then they had to deflect with armament or shield. For those who were new unfortunately had to deal with Shanks and Rayleigh working on Conqueror’s Haki as they went through the Calm Belt to build up resistance.

Hongo had to treat an unfortunate amount of concussions when he wasn’t getting his own ass kicked.

To say that Rayleigh was displeased was an understatement, especially to those he caught napping while they were supposed to be on watch. That is to say Yasopp and a few others got harsher treatment and regular visits to Hongo, more so after being tossed from the crow’s nest.

Beckman winced as he lowered himself into the bed, the bruises on his entire being aching. “How did Anchor survive this after marineford!? He did this for two years, it's been a week and I'm already hurting in places I didn't even know could hurt.”

“This is him going easy on us…” Shanks' voice sounded muffled from beyond where he had his face buried in his pillow. “He can’t do the real painful stuff on the ship. Also, Anchor is feral; he loved being trained under threat of death. Said it reminded him of home.”

“How does it get worse ?!” Beck choked out.

Shanks turned his head to peer out at Beckman, eyes haunted. “He hunts you for sport and the only weapon you’re allowed is your haki.”

“Shanks… not everyone on the crew has even awakened their haki…”

“They will by the time Rayleigh is done with us, till then they will be getting double hit with conqueror’s but at full strength. It's learn or be taken out and believe me, you don't want to be hit by whatever stick Rayleigh decides to use.” Shanks groaned, feeling the ghost bumps from when he was a kid.

“Remember me blindfolding you and pelting you with pebbles and beans for your observation haki? Yeah, that’s the nice way.” Shanks groaned sitting up. “Pops blindfolds you and takes shots at your head with the biggest stick he can get his hands on.”

“How.. how are you not dead?”

“One, I’m a natural, haki came almost as easy for me as it did Anchor,” Shanks said with a shrug. “Two, the threat of death is a wonderful motivator.

“Shanks… Shanks… if your Pops kills me, please know I will haunt this ship till the end of your days and tell Luffy I love him. I'm getting way too old for this. ” Beck grumbled before stiffening, his eyes flickering to the corner where he felt a slight change. “For the love of all that's holy Rayleigh, let me sleep.”

“Better.” Rayleigh’s voice sounded through the wall and Shanks fought down a shudder at the sound.

He loved his Pops, really he did. But when in training mode the man terrified the hell out of him. He missed the only other person who understood what it was like to fear and love the old pirate in equal measure. He should really call his brother.

That was the last thought Shanks had before sleep took him, though calling it sleep would be an understatement, it seemed like he just blinked before Beckman was up and jumping over him, digging his elbow into Shanks side.

Beck didn't stop, not when Shanks hit the floor of the cabin with muffled curses. But Beckman knew that familiar creep of haki that slithered up his spine and set the hairs on the back of his neck on end. He remembered his son’s laughter as Luffy chased him through the ship and land, throwing projectiles at him with the same efficiency as his sniper and at a speed that out beat Garp’s.

It was in short horrifying and he’d been bruised for days even with Chopper’s salves. He wasn't going to fuck around, especially if it's Rayleigh and this being his game. He’d already learned his lesson.

He jerked around and jumped over the fleeing and panicked crew mates, not even hesitating to dodge the thrown rock from the left before hurtling himself off the boat. Sand flew up all around him and he used that to his advantage though it would do little to shield him if Rayleigh was using his own Haki.

But Beck didn't stop, he could still feel Rayleigh’s haki weighing heavily over him, could see and feel his crew scattering into the trees like ants, Shanks among them. A curse left his lips as he dove for a fallen log, curling himself up tight and trying to calm his wild heart. He needed to focus, needed to calm down to hide himself, make it harder to be found because he refused to be part of the group that gets caught. He did his time, his son was not easy on him at all and Beck wasn’t under any illusions that his son’s mentor would be either.

This was the worst game of hide and seek ever.

He got pelted with rocks more than once but Rayleigh never actually laid hands on him. This made him one of the lucky ones if the pain filled cries echoing through the island were any indication. Beck would claim he got damn good at matching his own haki to surrounding wildlife though if you asked him.

By the time the flare of haki that signaled the end of the game swept the island only he, Shanks, and a handful of their officers remained uncaptured. Granted, they were far from unscathed with Shanks looking like he fought a bear or five and the others not looking that much better.

Shanks panted As he glared at his Pops, dirt and grime all over his skin, twigs in his Hair. “ What was that!? That was not something I remember!!”

Rayleigh laughed from his lounged position on the railing. “that was a game Luffy invented, he was bored, I found it fun. Even managed to turn it around on me a few times and put me through my paces!”

“I knew Luffy would be the death of me one day,” Shanks panted, “but fuck this ain’t how I pictured it.”

“Ah, quit your whining!” Rayleigh scoffed. “Not getting caught for this means your observation is decent enough you don’t get the blindfold treatment. Beckman actually managed to disappear from my own Sight, so he gets tomorrow off.”

“W-What’s t-the blindfold t-treatment?” The navigator Rayleigh had already scarred for life questioned with a tremor in his voice.

Rayleigh just grinned viciously and Shanks had to fight down a whine at the sight. His poor crew was going to be traumatized for life. He could only hope that Rayleigh’s first mate behavior didn’t rub off on his husband too much. He didn’t know if he could survive two.

Beckman slumped down, laying comfortably on the warm deck. He really should speak with Franky about acquiring some sea grass, it was comfortable to sleep on. He ignored the whining of his husband, the groans of the crew as they jumped back to shore to continue their training. It was only when he felt a nudge to his bare feet that he cracked his eyes open to see a smirking Rayleigh.

“Want to help?” He asked, smirk still in place as he cleaned his glasses. “Luffy did well.”

“Yes,” he agreed on both accounts as he got to his own feet, a grin of his own tugging at his lips. “But don't you go and tell him that, my holiday with him was enough, he was meaner with the hide and seek too.”

Rayleigh laughed loud, head thrown back in his amusement. “Of course he is, it's his own game he played with his brothers. Even I couldn't hide from him, the brat.”

“Wait, what? Rayleigh, what do you mean by that?” Benn asked as the Dark King jumped off the ship. “ Rayleigh!?”
