"I mean, what're you waiting for? A sign from God?" Nice sneered at Chucky from her position on the floor.
Suddenly, a flash of electricity emitted out in front of Nica, and as she and Chucky both looked towards it as it then receded, to Nica's greater shock than Chucky's six people, five of them male and the sixth a young female, were revealed to be standing there.
"What the fuck is this?" Chucky demanded.
One of the males, a young man with long dark shoulder length curly hair, wearing a black leather jacket with a police badge clipped to it, plain red t-shirt, blue jeans and red and white converse trainers with white laces, and a strip of red cloth tied round his head, strode forward, and when he was in range kicked out with his right foot, sending the knife Chucky was holding spinning out of his grip, then before the shocked Killer Doll could react any further he reached down and grabbed Chucky by his doll's hair with his right hand, ignoring the Charles Lee Ray soul dominated doll's curses and clawing and kicking in an attempt to free himself as the young man lifted and held him up for all to see plainly. At the same time, the young man raised his left hand and snapped his fingers, the lights in the house instantly coming on and allowing Nica a more clearer view of the strangers who had appeared literally outta nowhere.
"It's over for you at last, Chucky," his holder spat, utter hatred displayed on his face, "Your days of inflicting terror and ruining people's lives, like you did to Andy Barclay when he was a kid in your first two films, are ended."
"Who the fuck are you? Who are you to interrupt what I was about to start 25 years ago?" Chucky snarled.
"Ever hear of the old Icelandic kid's educational musical TV show LazyTown, eh, Chuck?" the young man, Flashraven, or Max as what was his name, asked in response. When no response came from the Killer Doll, Max gestured to the man with short brown-blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing a black t-shirt, dark blue trackie bottoms and blue and white Nike trainers, "Well meet its lead star man Magnús Scheving..." he then indicated the young woman who had long blonde curly hair and brown eyes, wearing a pink sleeveless top, skin tight blue jeans and pink and white converse trainers, "...and Chloe Lang, the one who took over from Julianna Rose Mauriello for the role of-"
"Stephanie?!" Nica gasped in disbelief, her wide eyed expression showing the same reaction as she then looked to Magnús, "Sportacus?!"
Magnús and Chloe both nodded and came forwards, both helping Nica to sit up while one of the other two young men who were there also and hadn't yet been introduced went to her wheelchair and brought it over.
"I took over from Julianna as Stephanie for seasons 3 and 4 of Lazytown after she aged out of the role and had to leave, Nica," Chloe explained as she and Magnús helped Nica back into her chair, "Now, I've a successful TikTok fame going back to when during COVID lockdown, I decided to reconnect with my past star character self and went viral, thought it would be fun to start it by bringing out my old Stephanie costume, including the bubblegum pink wig." She smiled, "I certainly never could've anticipated I'd have such a huge reaction to it, got millions of viewers, which was very unexpected. Since then, I've also racked up almost a hundred thousand followers on Instagram too, and have a successful YouTube channel where I share my memories from back as well as what I currently do with myself in life."
"Which makes me very proud of you for what you've successfully created for yourself in life since you were with us on-set in Iceland," Magnús said, he and Chloe sharing smiles with each other.
"And it's certainly wowed and made me quite happy to know ever since I read about said facts of yours online, and have begun watching your YouTube content only recently, Chloe," Max said, "Even though I never saw anything of your episodes from LazyTown due to the fact that I was still finishing off school and doing my first year of college when seasons 3 and 4 were broadcast on TV. T'was only Julianna's episodes I saw way way back on CBeebies when I was a kid."
"Hey, is no big deal, Max, at least now you get to enjoy and follow and love me very much as an adult," a still smiling Chloe assured him.
"Oh my god. Alice!" Nica gasped in realization, remembering her niece's plight, and that she had seen on the camera footage when Ian had played it on his laptop that Chucky had locked her in a closet in her bedroom.
"Don't worry, Nica, Chloe and I will get her," Max assured her, then turned to the second young man who had assisted with Nica. "Take hold of this little stuffing stuffed killer creep for me, will ya, brother O?" he said, holding out Chucky.
"My pleasure, bud A," Max's fellow Fanfiction buddy OmniIBIBUltraInstinctGodzilla, as was his name, said, and with Max ignoring Chucky's rant of "Unhand me at once or I'll kill ya with my bare hands, you little bastard" he handed the Killer Doll over, Omni ignoring Chucky's pathetic mad wailing and clawing and kicking attempts as Max and Chloe headed off to Alice's bedroom.
"Jim Carrey?" Nica asked, now addressing the other senior man in her presence, having recognized the famous and certainly well loved for his comedic roles of old, and present thanks to his immensely enjoyed and successful role as Dr Robotnik on the three films of Sonic the Hedgehog, American actor.
Carrey nodded, a massive grin on his own face as he stepped forward. "That is me, my dear Nica," he greeted in a typical Carrey role kind of way, "Not quite retired from acting just yet, not when I couldn't turn down the offer to lend a little assistance to young Max and his two online story mastering buddies here..." he gestured between the two young men who were still there with him and Nica and Magnús, "...and Lazytown's two so recognizable and loved star human figures with him." He now indicated Chucky.
"Which is very unfortunate for you, Chucky" Max and Omni's fellow brother buddy from Fanfiction GussyGus28, the third of the younger men who were there, now at last spoke, "As I'm the one of us special Band of Brothers group on Fanfiction, and on Discord as well now, who is the big horror movie lover and watcher of us all. I love horror movies so much indeed, mainly and more appropriately the great classics which began back in the last century and have continued to last into this century, the ones featuring the likes of you, Chuck, Mike Myers, Fred Kruger, Jason Voorhees, the Ghostface Killer terrorizers of Sydney Campbell, Bruce Campbell's good guy figure of Ash Williams, you name it."
"And what the fuck are you lot and the blonde bitch in pink doing here now then?" Chucky snarled, still not able to fully take in all what he was being told.
"To deal with you, the stuffing stuffed plasticine figure doppelganger to Saruman's slimeball lackie Grima Wormtongue on Lord of the Rings, once and for all, that's what," Omni spat back defiantly.
"LazyTown style," Magnús agreed.
"Is that where he's from?" Nice asked, the men turning to her, "Lord of the Rings, huh?"
Omni, GussyGus and Carrey all nodded. "The unparralleled, far surpassing the original Lucas created Trekkie movie three by a loooooooonnnnng long way indeed, in its absolute highly first class Tolkien dedicated amazingness P Jackson created trilogy, yes, Nica me girl," Carrey answered proudly, Nica herself together with Magnús, Omni and GussyGus chuckling at Carrey's usual comedic way of answering.
"I thought his voice sounded somewhat familiar," Nica said.
Meanwhile, Max and Chloe had located the closet where Chucky had locked Alice in, and with a shake of the head in disgust at what he knew very full well what would befall the poor youngster at the movie's end Max unlocked the door and pulled it open, revealing a wide eyed Alice.
"Hey, Alice," Chloe said, crouching down so that she was at eye level with her and reaching out with a hand, "You wanna come out of there, sweetheart?"
Alice took her hand and allowed Chloe to guide her out of the closet. "Are you friends of Auntie Nica?" Alice asked.
"Do you remember LazyTown, Alice, the musical show on TV with the young girl in pink called Stephanie and the very acrobatic man in blue and white called Sportacus?" Chloe asked.
Alice nodded. "I love that," she said happily, "I've sometimes made Auntie Nica laugh and clap when I've danced and sung along to Stephanie, and Robbie Rotten is such a bad man, isn't he."
"Yes, he is," Chloe agreed, she and Max chuckling again at that. Then she addressed Alice again, "You want to know who we are, Alice?" The youngster nodded, and Chloe now pulled something out from one of her jeans' pockets and held it up- a pink smooth haired wig.
Seeing it, Alice's mouth dropped open, her eyes going big, her eyes moving from the wig to Chloe and back again. "Are you...?" she began.
A still smiling Chole nodded in response. "That's right, Alice. I'm Stephanie, the Stephanie from the show," she proclaimed proudly, gesturing with her free hand to her pink top and trainers, "Got the wear to prove it too."
At that, Alice gave a little squeal and ran forward to hug Chloe, Chloe not hesitating as she gladly returned and stood up, lifting the young girl up as she continued to hold her, Max looking on happily, until at last Chloe set Alice back down on the floor.
"But you're..." Alice began again.
Chloe nodded. "I'm a little more grown up and taller than you would've seen my on Lazytown's episodes, plus..." She held up a strand of her natural long blonde hair, "I'm more blonde now. But yes, it's me, sweetheart, I am Stephanie."
"And that's not all, Alice," Max now addressed her himself, Alice looking up at him, "Sportacus himself is here too, and he's with your Aunt Nica."
"Sportacus?" Alice exclaimed excitedly and loudly.
"D'you wanna go and meet him?" Chloe asked. And with an enthusiastic amount of nods from a now almost bouncy Alice in answer, Chloe picked her up, Alice wrapping her arms around the older woman's neck, and with Max following they headed out onto the landing again and back to where Nica, Magnús, Omni, GussyGus and Jim Carrey were still waiting, Omni still keeping a tight grip on Chucky's doll hair with his left hand.
"Here she is, Nica," Chloe said as they approached, Nica, spinning her chair round instantly at hearing the words, showing utter relief at seeing her niece safe and, from what she could see with extra thankfulness, unharmed.
"Alice!" Nica gasped, wheeling herself and her chair forwards until she reached Chloe, reaching out and allowing Chloe to pass Alice to her, Nica crying as she held her niece tightly, not wanting to let her go for as long as possible, but they had to eventually, Nica still keeping Alice on her lap as Magnús came over.
"Hello, Alice," he greeted her.
"Are you Sportacus?" Alice asked.
Magnús nodded and smiled. "I am indeed," he confirmed, "LazyTown's acrobatic hero." Now he held out his arms, "Will you allow me?" Alice, knowing what he meant, didn't hesitate as she threw herself into his embrace, Magnús returning it without hesitation as he stood up, Alice still unable to fully believe that in the space of just a few minutes, she had met for real two of Lazytown's characters in the flesh instead of just on a TV screen, but she didn't let her huge excitement at doing so slow her down one bit. Eventually though, she release her hold on Magnús's neck and the Sportacus figure from Iceland placed Alice gently back down, Nica taking her niece's hand in her own left, not wanting to let her out of her sight or reach again.
At last and inevitably, Alice noticed Chucky in Omni's hand, the Killer Doll having been watching all this in sullen seething silence. "Chucky?" she gasped, looking between everyone in shock, "What are you doing to him?"
"That's our cue, guys," Max stated, his companions nodding as he brought his phone out of his pocket. He unlocked it, searched on it for several seconds, and then with a "Aha" found what he was looking for.
"Chloe..." Omni said, throwing Chloe a wooden baseball bat with his free right hand, the young woman and former Stephanie catching it expertly.
"Roll the music," Max said, and pressed the screen. And at once, the main theme tune of the LazyTown show began to roll.
"Welcome to LazyTown, A place where you'll want to stay," the first lyrics, which Max, Chloe, Magnús, Omni, GussyGus and Carrey all echoed together, sang out, Omni opening his left hand and releasing Chucky from his grasp, then giving him a powerful spinning jump kick before he could hit the floor, propelling the Killer Doll over the landing railing.
"You'll meet Robby with his rotten plan, And Sporticus saving the day." the next lyrics came next as the Six, still singing the words together, followed Chucky, launching themselves, Magnús himself doing a perfect flip jump as was what he would do as Sportacus, over the railing and all of them landing perfectly on their feet around the Killer Doll, Jim Carrey giving a mock cackle in imitation of Lazytown's old evil character Robbie Rotten at the end of the first part, an astonished Nica and Alice watching all this from the landing in speechlessness, as Max gave Chucky a powerful upwards kick propelling him towards Chloe who'd readied her baseball bat.
"Stephanie is new in town, And soon she and Ziggy are friends," sang the next lyrics, an utter contempt showing Chloe giving Chucky the exact opposite to that as she swung her bat and whacked the Killer Doll hard and powerfully in perfect timing to the word 'friends', Chucky yelling as he was sent crashing into the far wall.
"With Pixel, Stingy and Trixie too," the Six continued as Max slid across the floor to where Chucky had landed and reached down to grab his right foot, and as the next words of "They're gonna have a blast together" came he threw Chucky in the direction of the group again.
"Go! Go! Go! Get up, LazyTown!" Magnús, Chloe, Omni, GussyGus and Jim Carrey all chorused, punching their arms in the air in synch to the lyrics as Chucky descended down towards them and received hits from the five's balled up hands, before Magnús, in time to "It's the start of a brand new day" swung his right leg up in a high front kick, propelling a yelling Chucky up through the air towards the landing where Nica and Alice still waited, Nica's face beginning to fill with horror as the Killer Doll came towards them.
Luckily, Magnús acted, performing a perfect high somersaulting jump to "Things are upside down here in LazyTown", and at the same time kicking Chucky with his left foot, both descending back down. And that was when Max himself made his move, pulling out what looked like a flare gun from his back trouser pocket and aiming it as he and the others sang out the last words of "Adventure's just a moment away", and the moment the last word left their mouths Max pulled the trigger, Chucky unable to do anything as, with a last hate filled scream, he was blown apart in a blast of blue energy, bits and pieces of plastic and stuffing and doll's hair flying in all directions.
"WOOHOO," Max hollered, raising and spreading his arms wide in celebration, Omni agreeing with a "Yahey" and thumbs up before sharing a double high five with GussyGus, Chloe and Magnús doing the same and hugging, a wide grinning Carrey himself punching the air.
"We did it, gang," Max proclaimed in ecstatic triumph, "We've changed the ending of the movie, and saved our girls up top from what woulda befell 'em otherwise thanks to the actions of that You Know What." Because Alica and Nica were still present on the landing above, Max had to not use what he would've gladly said otherwise to describe the now very eliminated indeed Chucky.
"What do you mean about us, eh, Max?" Nica at last spoke again.
"Why have you blown Chucky into pieces?" Alice added, more curious than upset.
Together, the six made their proper way back up the staircase and rejoined the aunt and niece. "If it hadn't've been for us, Nica, that creep would've saved his own sick skin by making sure you got sent down for tonight's murders, institutionalized in a mental hospital like what happened to Andy Barclay's own mum Karen all those years ago after the goddamn cops refused to believe her about Chucky the first time he came into Andy's life, as he told you just before we arrived."
GussyGus and Chloe crouched down together so that they were at eye level with Alice. "Then a few months after this, Alice, a very nasty lady also turned Killer Doll called Tiffany Valentine, who was the one responsible for mailing Chucky to you here at your aunt's place, would then send him to you again, when he would then..." Chloe explained further, pausing as she considered the right words to say to the youngster, aware that Nica was very much listening herself, "...do something very horrible to your grandma, and enact a voodoo chant to transfer his soul into you, so turning you into him as a result."
Nica gasped, hands coming over her mouth in gigantic horror, as Alice herself stared at the two former LazyTown stars. "What would happen to Auntie Nica?" she asked.
GussyGus now took over. "In what we've now very thankfully indeed prevented of the next film's events for you both, Alice, your aunt here..." he nodded briefly to Nica, "...when she's very wrongfully imprisoned in that mental place, will be convinced by a disgusting man in nature Dr. Foley that Chucky is just a figment of her imagination and that she truly perpetrated tonight's events. And then, after three versions of Chucky kill other patients at the hospital, she'll be blamed for what happens to them, and then..." he gulped, bracing himself for what he was about to say in conclusion as he turned to Nica herself, "Chucky would then possess you, Nica, and escape the mental hospital with Tiffany Valentine."
Now, Nica burst into unstoppable sobs and pulled Alice back onto her lap, hugging her as tightly and as long as she could, the six looking on without any further words, letting Nica enjoy what she would now be able to do with her niece that would never have been allowed otherwise if it hadn't have been for their extremely timely arrival.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you," Nica managed to say at last to the group, still keeping Alice in her embrace while further tears fell from her eyes.
"Andy lost momma Karen and his normal childhood thanks to that Grima Wormtongue voice bearing killer mannequin and the failed in brains law system, dear Nica," Jim Carrey said in full honesty, "We weren't gonna allow that to happen to you and young Alice if we could possibly help it."
"Even though we couldn't arrive in time to save everyone else tonight," Magnús added sympathetically, the others nodding themselves. Nica just shook her head and again muttered "Thank you" again as she continued to hold Alice tightly to her.
At last, aunt and niece finally released each other, Nica allowing Chloe to take Alice, the youngster wrapping her arms around Chloe's neck. "So what now?" Nica asked.
"Now, my dear Nica..." Carrey replied, his traditional comedy character grin returning to his face, also raising his arms and holding his hands out. At once, a swarm of golden glowing particles of, something, appeared above his palms, Carrey's grin growing, "I give you back what old Grima has you of since just before you emerged from your mom's belly and into the open world." And with that, he thrust his arms out, the golden particles flying from his hands and surrounding Nica, fresh nervousness on her face, Alice showing the same as she observed from within Chloe's arm hold, the particles doing whatever it was they were now doing to Nica as everyone watched, the Six with hopeful expectation.
And then, the particles evaporated into thin air, and as they did so Nica's eyes widened, mouth dropping open in a wide gape, as she felt a sensation in her lower body she had never ever had the privilege of knowing ever since she was a newborn baby, and with an encouraging nod and smile from Magnús who said "Go on" in inclusion, Nica carefully guided herself up and onto her own two feet. With everyone, including a just as majorly shocked Alice, looking on with their own major delight, all sorts of emotions ran through Nica, tears of pure joy falling from her eyes at it too, as she ran her hands over and then did a few little runs up and down the landing, unable to resist giving a few shouts and cheers of sheer joy as she did so, on her now completely healed, undamaged and blessedly useful legs, something she had been robbed of her whole life by Chucky, formerly the sick demented twisted in mind serial killer Charles Lee Ray, ever since he had stabbed her mum Sarah in her heavily pregnant swollen stomach while Nica had still been in it and left her paralyzed since birth.
"THANK YOU!" she addressed the still extremely delighted Six, hugging them all with all the gratitude in the universe for what they had now gifted back to her, before taking Alice back from Chloe, the young girl embracing her now fully bodily mobile aunt without hesitation.
"You can thank Christopher Eccleston's Doctor's London Blitz set two-parter for the Chula nanogenes good old Jim's just used to heal ya at last, Nica," Max explained, "Cos that is where they came from."
"Spot on indeed, young Max," Carrey confirmed. "And now..." Now he clapped his hands twice and then his arms diagonally out, Nica and Alice exclaiming as they felt themselves lifting off the ground and over the landing railing, only to then just descend gently down and onto the ground floor, the Six joining them by, of course, launching themselves, Magnús himself doing another spot-on flip jump to do so, over the railing and landing perfectly on their feet to join the aunt and niece.
And now, the Bing Bang theme played at the end of each LazyTown episode began blaring out, the three Fanfiction boys, Chloe, Magnús, Nica and Alice dancing along to it in ecstatic triumph.
"Bing bang diggiriggidong, Funny words I sing when I am dancing." the first lyrics sang, everyone, apart from Magnús who did some handstand press-ups, pointing a finger up and swaying their hips and also half raising and lowering their feet in synch with the second line, a massive smile showing Alice being the most loudest and ecstatic of all due to that she was of course such a lover of LazyTown and Stephanie, Nica herself joining in with the same levels as she enjoyed the full use of her now working legs.
"Bing bang diggiriggidong, Silly words that can mean anything." they all did next, bending briefly and touching their knees before straightening back up, holding their arms up and out and twirling their hands, Magnús doing some normal press-ups before jumping back onto his feet.
"Get on up, it's time to dance, yeah!" the group now sang, Magnús joining them in raising their left legs first in a knee strike and then in a high kick, repeating the same moves with the right leg. Then with "It's so much fun being up on our feet." everyone, barring Magnús of course, spun around 360 degrees and then raised their arms out wide.
Then as "So we go up, up, do the jump," sounded out, everyone punched the air with their right arm and spread their right leg out in the same moment, repeating the same with the left arm and leg, then with "Move around and clap your hands together." they all did exactly that, spinning round fully again before then clapping their hands a few times.
"Down, down, turn around" came the next line, everyone crossing then spreading their legs before doing a third full 360 degrees turn. And with the last line of "Having fun is what it's all about", they all spread their arms out, massive smiles on their faces, and as the last bit of music sounded out, while the others punched their arms in the air Chloe herself did one last spin and fell backwards into Magnús's arms just as the music ended.
"WOOHOOOOO" Max hollered, he and the others still sporting their massive ecstatic delight as he, Omni, GussyGus, Jim Carrey, Nica and Alice all applauded, Magnús releasing Chloe so that they too could do so.
"Did you enjoy that, Alice?" Chloe asked, she and Magnús both bending at the knees so that they could address her.
Alice nodded, unable to stop being so happy herself. "Thank you," she said simply, hugging the two in a three-way hug, everyone watching.
"What on Earth's going on here?" The new voice interrupted the moment, and they all turned to see a young male police officer standing there, looking with absolute disbelief on his face.
"Aha. You, Stanton," Max said, anger now coming over him as he and Omni and GussyGus advanced on the officer.
"We want a word with you," GussyGus added.
