Chapter 1: How they got here
Summary:
Akito and Toya gets roped into an experiment by Rui. Tsukasa is already following the scientist, though.
Notes:
im starting to regret this
Chapter Text
Akito was just going to school, like normal. Ugh, he hated school so much, especially English. How does Toya do this- "Shinonome-kun!" ... He really hated school because of one person. Its Rui Kamishiro. "Ahahh... Kamishiro-senpai?" Akito turns around, hesitantly.
There, Rui was standing with Tsukasa following him. Just what the hell did he want now? "Shinonome-kun, mind being in one of my experiments?" "No." Akito flat out refused. He was NOT getting into another one of those experiments, not like last time where a random clone of him suddenly showed up on the rooftop. "Also, Tsukasa-senpai, why are you even following him?" Akito turned to his other senior. The blonde man laughed, "Why not? I don't think it's gonna be dangerous." How reassuring. "Yes, I don't think my experiments are all that dangerous... Right, Shinonome-kun? Fufu..." Akito should've just stayed home- okay, throw all that out the window. Toya is here, finally, Akito's savior from all this nonsense.
"Akito-" "Ah, Aoyagi-kun! Mind joining us and Tsukasa for a little experiment?" No. NO. Akito was internally screaming, and outside, he was looking absolutely miserable. Please let Toya say no. "Uhm... Sure...?"
... Why must fate do this? Rui turned to Akito, grinning mischievously. Tsukasa was already talking to Toya. "See, Shinonome-kun? Even your boyfrie-" Rui teased, getting cut off. "He's not my boyfriend!" Akito blushed, face turning a shade of light pink. "Ahem, See, Shinonome-kun? You have no reason to decline! Fufu... So, what are you waiting for?" Akito wished he stayed home, even if it meant not seeing Toya.
Soon, the group of four head to the rooftop, where there was a device that looked like it would kill someone. "... Rui, what is this-" Tsukasa started, before getting cut off. "Don't worry about it, Tsukasa! It's totally safe." How reassuring, that device looks really, really safe. (It actually doesn't.)
"So, this device is gonna take us somewhere new... How exciting, isn't that right?" Akito tuned out the purplenettes blabbering, instead standing close to Toya and looking suspiciously at the device. Tsukasa seemed to be listening, and Toya seemed to also be listening, albeit a bit less focused. Akito bets he looks miserable as hell. "So, let's try this out, shall we?" Rui invited Tsukasa and the rest of the Fantasista Squad over. Akito followed an excited Tsukasa and an interested Toya, hesitantly.
The device definitely wasn't made for 4 people, much less boys who are definitely over 170cm each. "Kamishiro-senpai, are you really sure?" Akito questioned, getting shoved into Toya's arms. He just let himself stay there. "Oh, I'm sure, Shinonome-kun." Most of Rui's experiments ended in success, but the chance of a failure? Slim, but not zero. "Calm down, Akito. I can feel your heartbeat..." Toya whispered into Akito's ear, making the ginger boy inhale and exhale, trying to calm down. "Where is this taking us exactly, Rui?" Tsukasa seemed skeptical, but he was still supportive of whatever the taller boys ideas were. "Somewhere!" Rui winked. Rui pressed a red button, which started a countdown.

The device activated. The world was spinning, Akito felt sick to his stomach. He was gripping onto Toya's arms like a vice, holding in the urge to throw up. Toya himself felt sick, and he could only wonder how the other two boys were still fine, laughing.
"Are you two okay? Shinonome-kun? Aoyagi-kun?"
Both of the second years could sort of hear their senior, Rui, trying to talk to them. "Ahh! Akito? Toya??" Tsukasa's voice could be heard faintly from their dizziness. When the two boys regained their surroundings, Akito wasn't as sick as before, but still felt like throwing up. Toya? He was fine, still sick but not to the point of Akito. "Toya? Akito? Thank god, you're fine. How are you feeling?" Tsukasa questioned, looking concerned. "Ughhh, I'm fine... Sort of." Akito mumbled, Toya just nodded at Tsukasa. Rui was somewhere in the distance, looking around at wherever they are. "Fufu... How interesting, this world is very unrealistic looking. Very cartoonish..." Rui could be heard mumbling to himself. Tsukasa approached, with a Toya and a sick Akito in tow. "Rui!!" Tsukasa yelled, which only made Akito grimace. Why does Toya like this guy so much? "Aha, Tsukasa! I see you have Shinonome-kun and Aoyagi-kun in tow." Rui turned around. Behind him, were dazzling high cliffs and a blue sea, similar to a cliff side. Except, it all looked unrealistic, very... Vibrant, very, proportionate. Just not how real life would look. There was nothing for thousands of kilometers, just an empty, vast grassland behind them, turning into high cliffs.
"And where is this, Kamishiro-senpai?" Toya looked around as he questioned. Vast grasslands surrounded by cliffs that looked straight out of a manga page. "Fufu... How should i word it?" Rui chuckled, approaching closer as he faced Tsukasa, Toya and Akito. "You don't know, huh?" Tsukasa raised an eyebrow skeptically. The blonde was all too familiar with these experiments, but not to the point of whatever this is. Plus, the four had to get back, fast. School is quite important. "Fufu, i honestly don't know."
Rui sighed, grin spreading wide. "Of course you don't know!" The ginger of the group complained, Akito had given up on looking around as he held onto Toya. "Let's just walk around and see what we can find." Toya suggested before Akito could get frustrated, and because Akito wouldn't dare to go against Toya, he just grumbled. "Ooh, great idea, Toya! Let's look around, and i, mighty star Tenma Tsukasa, will lead the way!"
Tsukasa happily agreed and struck a pose, which made Akito cringe. Rui laughed, "Sure, as energetic as always, Tsukasa."
Chapter 2: Tsukasa faces some bugs
Summary:
They walk, and walk, until they find a dark cave. What's inside? It's bugs. Particularly millipedes and centipedes.

i have to finish 4 more chapters by tomorrow bro
Chapter Text
It felt like they were walking for hours, and hours on end. Akito was growing tired, and so was Toya. Tsukasa was still going on and blabbering about something, while Rui talked along side him. How were these two so strong? Is it because of their training as Troupe members or something? Akito and Toya don't know, but they definitely won't be trying out the older boys routines anytime soon. Nor in their entire life, i guess. Akito felt shivers down his spine when he imagined what routine the Wonderlands x Showtime group go through. Scary.
"A cave?" Tsukasa pointed out in the distance. It was so out of place. "How out of place..." Rui commented, quickly coming over to the cave as if he were examining it. "Ugh, and don't make us be dragged inside..." Akito complained, mostly to Toya rather than the other two. "No, I don't think so. The cave is really small." The cave was smaller than most, which was almost to be expected from how weird this world was.
Rui and Tsukasa were examining the cave, touching the oddly square and symmetrical rocks. The texture felt like rocks, yes, but it wasn't rounded, it was just, square. Like a cave from a video game that was pixelated, or used some shapes instead of making their own stuff. Akito and Toya stayed at a distance, not far, but far enough to not be in line of what is gonna attack or something from the cave. "Is this even safe?" Akito muttered, holding Toya's hand. He was skeptical about whatever safety hazards were in the cave. "Considering the darkness, no, its definitely not safe." Toya replied, gripping Akito's hand tightly. "Then why are we even here?!" Akito exclaimed, looking at Toya then back to the two seniors still probing around the cave.
"Toya! Akito! Let's go inside!" Tsukasa yelled, waving at them. Akito groaned, he jinxed it. He hesitantly approached, gripping Toya's hand. "Tsukasa-senpai, are you sure this is safe?" Toya asked the question that Akito has been asking in his mind.
"Fufu... I'm sure it's safe, Aoyagi-kun." Rui reassured, while Tsukasa nodded, smiling confidently. Akito hesitantly followed them into the dark cave, it was pitch black. Akito heard something crawling, and its just really... creepy sounding. "I hear something crawling..." Akito subconsciously moved closer to Toya, who held his hand tightly. Tsukasa and Rui were in the lead. "Fufu... I don't think it'll come after us, don't worry." That's not reassuring. "Rui! That's not really reassuring, y'know!" Tsukasa scolded, sighing and huffing before he freezed. Something was crawling on him.
A loud scream could be heard, belonging to Tsukasa Tenma, the star.
"Holy- What was that, Tsukasa-senpai?!" Akito jumped at the sudden loud sound, and latched onto Toya instinctively. Rui looked to what looked to be Tsukasa in the dark, hardly making out what was going on. "Tsukasa? What's wrong?" Tsukasa was frozen, before trying to get a centipede off him. This cave was infested with bugs and insects. "Eek!! A centipede! A centipede!!" Tsukasa could hardly see anything in the dark, but he could probably die because of the fear of seeing bugs and insects. Tsukasa was horribly afraid of insects and bugs. So much so, Akito often teased him about this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tsukasa was screaming, still. Usually, Rui and Akito would be laughing right now, but it isn't so fun when there are also literal centipedes and millipedes trying to crawl on you. Toya wasn't all that fazed, his body temperature was cold, which meant most of the creatures avoided him. He was first trying to get them off Akito. "Toya!! Can you just, I don't know, peel them off me?!" Akito yelled, desperately heading to the cave entrance as he was peeling off the insects. "I'm trying, Akito..."
"Uwahhhh!?? Rui!!" Tsukasa cried out, traumatized by the whole ordeal. He was already sprinting to the cave entrance, Rui followed suit but instead of grinning, he was scowling. They eventually made it out. Sort of. The centipedes and millipedes still stuck and the group were stuck trying to peel them off for the rest of a few hours. Tsukasa was complaining the entire time, whining about how gross this was, how disgusting this was.
Chapter 3: Rui + Vegetables
Summary:
They find a house. Okay, no one's inside. They need to eat. Okay, but there are only vegetables. Author hates onions, cucumbers and peppers, 1/10. Author also would throw out carrots.
(revamped the ending)
Chapter Text
They finished peeling off bugs hours later. The fake looking sky was now approaching sunset, and they hadn't eaten all day. They really had nowhere to go in this new world.
"Ughhh... I'm hungry..." Tsukasa complained, laying somewhere on the grass, far away from bugs and the cave. "Fufu... I think all of us are, Tsukasa. Right, Aoyagi-kun, Shinonome-kun?" Rui was still grinning, looking at the two second years. Akito was grumbling, before nodding. The ginger boy was pouting slightly, which, according to Toya, was incredibly cute. "Are there any houses or just something we can eat here?" Toya pondered, getting up and taking Akito's hand yet again, gripping tightly.
Rui stood up, persuading Tsukasa to leave the comfortable grass and get up, walking yet again. "Tsukasa, we have to walk again. Don't just sit around." Rui pulled the blonde star up, laughing at the silent grumble by Tsukasa. Akito was technically the same as Tsukasa, just a bit pouty. Rui and Toya had to drag their respective partners along, smiling fondly at them. Soon enough, they found a house, which Rui estimated to be as unstable as Akito's self confidence. He obviously didn't say that out loud, of course. "Fufu... What an... Unstable house." Rui commented, poking at it. "It's better than nothing! Atleast if there's someone inside we get something..." Akito knocked. No one answered. Eventually, Tsukasa opened the door, revealing a pretty run down house that looked on the verge to falling apart. Toya compared it to the Edith's Finch house, from Edith Finch.
"What a run down house... I feel like it's gonna collapse anytime soon." Tsukasa muttered as he pushed open the door. There didn't seem to be any trace of a person, or anyone. There was a kitchen, a dining table, and what seemed to be creaking stairs leading up to the second floor. None of the four trusted the stairs enough to go up. "Fufu... It does seem like a place good enough to stay in for a while. What do you all think?" Rui chuckled, turning around to the rest, "I'm horrible at cooking, so I'll let everyone decide who cooks besides me." Rui was absolutely horrible. As horrible as Toya when cooking, oh dear, No one wanted to try Toya's cooking again. "Aha... No, I'm not cooking." Toya smiled awkwardly, knowing he once burned down a kitchen and made sure that Rui wouldn't touch food made by him ever again. "You're banned from the kitchen, Toya." Akito laughed after commenting that, while Tsukasa shivered at the cupcakes Toya made last year for White Day. Literally, why were they bubbling, melting, and why were they BLUE? Not even blue frosting, like literally blue. Not even the batter was blue, it just turned out blue and looked like the most poisonous things ever. "It looks like me and you are gonna cook today, Shinonome-kun!" Tsukasa cheerfully exclaimed, taking Akito's hand and pulling him into the kitchen. "Tsukasa-senpai- Wait-" Akito yelped before he was dragged, leaving Toya and Rui laughing at the gingers misfortune.
(sadly, i cant cook for life and i definitely wont be able to make a cooking scene.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rui went into the kitchen to see what was going on, and his soul left his body when he realized there were only vegetables.
Rui HATED vegetables to much he refuses to eat them unless forced to. Tsukasa seemed disgusted at the peppers, he didn't like peppers, and Akito threw out the carrots. No one really liked carrots. Heck, even Ena, Akito's sister also hated carrots. Akito wasn't fond of peppers or cucumbers, or onions either. Not a fan. Thankfully, Toya only disliked squids, and wasn't much of a picky eater. "Eugh. Carrots? No thanks..." Akito threw the carrots somewhere where they couldn't be recovered. "Peppers...? Okay, I'm a future star, I've got to eat this-" Tsukasa was cut off by Akito taking the peppers and holding them above the trash. "Be real, would you rather suffer or throw this out?" ... The peppers were saved, but due to Tsukasa's determined self. Rui was grimacing, while Toya watched in amusement as Akito rolled his eyes at Tsukasa's antics. Akito and Tsukasa settled on making curry, much to Rui's dismay. The food was done, "Itadakimasu!" They all said in unison. Toya didn't pick at the curry, just ate it. Akito, meanwhile, picked out the onions and such. Tsukasa suffered, trying to eat peppers. Well, Rui? Rui honestly tried to stomach it, but let's be real, Rui only sort of liked potatoes, and that was forcing to stomach it.
They stayed at the house for a good while, talking and joking around. Rui made some snide comments about Akito and Toya, and Akito responded back with more comments to Rui and Tsukasa. "Fufu... How are you two coming along, hm? Dating?" Rui teased Akito and Toya, which made both of them blush. The light shade of pink dusted both their cheeks. "Yeah, like you and Tsukasa-senpai aren't!" Akito shot back, Rui looked unfazed besides the light shade of pink dusting his face.
...
Akito felt relieved for the first time in a while, joking and laughing. He didn't have to worry about anyone finding out he was trans, nor did he have to worry about people thinking he was weird. Everyone in this room was weird.
Chapter 4: Toya Dislikes Heights
Summary:
In which the group find some clouds that they can ride on. Great for saving energy, but not so great when you have a fear of heights.
Notes:
im staying home from school so i can write this ;)
Chapter Text
They talked for what felt like hours, joking around, before Rui decided that they needed to continue their walk in the vast grasslands. Currently, they had no way of going back to the school, and GOD knows how long they've been in this world. "Fufu... We should head out once again, it should be nice to find a way back." Rui extended his hand as he spoke, inviting the others to go outside to the chilly, midnight wind. "Great idea, Rui!!" Tsukasa seemed to brighten up and warmed the atmosphere, being a star and all. "It's so cold... It's like a literal desert in the night." Akito mumbled, disgruntled. Toya seemed to be fine, as the half-and-half haired boy could stay in the fridge for a few hours on end. How does Toya do this? That question was on Akito's mind the first time he met Toya. "Is it?-" Toya replied, before Akito cut him off. "You're like an ice block, Toya. You survive off of literal cold." Tsukasa laughed when Akito said that, meanwhile Rui grinned yet again.
Soon, the group of four reached what seemed to be a cliff, yet again. What was weird is that they didn't get tired at all, not even after walking for hours on end. Unless you count the aching after walking so long, it was like they had infinite energy. "What's this?" Toya prodded at some clouds that gathered up on the cliff, blocking the view below. The cliff didnt even seem that high, it wasn't supposed to have clouds near it. "Clouds. But more importantly, what are clouds doing here?" Rui commented, poking at the seemingly innocent cloud. It looked to be normal, but, uh, the problem is, Tsukasa was sitting on a cloud.
"Tsukasa-senpai, what the-" Akito looked so done, "No worries, Akito! Totally safe!" The future star confidently announced, pulling Akito up on the cloud with him, The ginger could never keep up with the blonde boys energy. 'Heights...' Toya thought, dreading to climb up the clouds. He scooted closer to Akito and Tsukasa, grilling the soft clouds tightly. Surprisingly, these clouds were quite stable and strong, they were literally water droplets condensed. "Fufu... You seem pale, Aoyagi-kun. Are you okay?" Rui commented, climbing up after Toya. He sat down on what seemed to be the edge of the cloud, looking at the vast sea surrounding the grasslands. "Ahh... Yes, I'm fine, Kamishiro-senpai..." As if the quake in his voice didn't give away his fear, Toya tried desperately not to look down. It was so unbearably high up. "Yo, Toya, you okay? Just hold onto me." Akito looked concerned at his paleness. Toya willingly latched onto Akito the moment the ginger said it was okay. "Hahaha! There's nothing to fear, my dear junior! Everything will be fine if the star, Tsukasa Tenma is here!" Tsukasa announced, already grinning. Akito looked miserable to hear him quite literally yell in his ear. The cloud started moving on it's own, going faster than a cheetah. Akito looked rather scared for his life, hugging Toya tightly. The latter looked like his soul left his body at how pale he was. Rui laughed, enjoying the wind behind his back, hair fluttering forward messily. Tsukasa was also scared for his life, albeit enjoying the ride also. He was reminded of the rollercoasters in Phoenix Wonderland, the ones he used to ride with Saki, his dear beloved younger sister, when she wasn't sick. "Uwahhh?! What the he-?!" Akito screamed, gripping Toya's jacket tight. "Fufu~ What an interesting ride! You okay, Shinonome-kun? Oh... Aoyagi-kun seems to be scared for his life." As if it wasn't obvious, Toya was sweating bullets, so afraid that he wasn't registering half of the words that the rest said. "Wahaha! Reminds me of the rollercoasters in Phoenix Wonderland!" Tsukasa laughed, the vast sea stretching out beneath them. Rui had the time of his life, teasing Akito and Toya both. Toya didn't seem to register his teasing words, though. He was practically paralyzed in fear. The sea felt so far beneath them, Toya felt so high off the ground. A few hours passed of screaming and heights, and another vast grassland appeared into view. Seeming separated from the last grasslands, this one doesn't have anymore cliffs surrounding it.
The cloud dumped the four off of it, dispersing into water droplets that fell into the vast sea below. Luckily, it didn't drench them in water. Tsukasa was sprawled out on the grass, laughing, while Akito and Toya were the complete opposites. Akito was still regretting his life choices, and Toya still looked paralyzed from fear. Rui was laughing, hair all messed up, trying to fix it while sitting up. "Fufu... Aoyagi-kun?" That seemed to snap Toya out of his trance, he was still holding onto Akito. "... Kamishiro-senpai...!" He realized that Rui was calling out to him, Toya quickly regained himself. "I never wanna do that again." Akito muttered to himself, rethinking his life choices and suddenly regretting going to school today. "It was fun, Akito! Let's do it again sometime!!" Tsukasa yelled enthusiastically, leaving the ginger boy groaning.
Chapter 5: Akito and Dogs
Summary:
Akito + dogs = absolute chaos. specifically Chihuahuas.

Toya soon regained his composure, still holding onto Akito, just only just gripping his hand. The four had decided that they needed to walk again, despite their aching legs. "Whew, that was fun!" Tsukasa happily exclaimed, walking in the lead like he knew where he was going. (he did not.) "Fufu... Quite the experience. I'm sure Aoyagi-kun would like to repeat that, right?" Rui teased the half-and-half haired boy, "Ahah... No thanks, Kamishiro-senpai." Toya politely declined. He was sure that Rui found out about his fear of heights after that whole ordeal. "Hey now, Kamishiro-senpai. No need to tease him!" Akito came to defend his best friend, glaring at Rui. "No need to be so defensive, Shinonome-kun." Rui laughed, playing it off like he didn't tease Toya. Tsukasa was still walking in the lead, shining like the star he is. He definitely wasn't sure where he was going, but hey, for his juniors and Rui, he would do anything!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soon enough, they reached another house. It wasn't worn down like the last one, and it sure didn't seem like it was as unstable as the Edith Finch household. It sure seemed stable enough to not collapse under it's own weight. Akito knocked on the door yet again, hoping to find that someone was inside. "Anyone inside?" He called out, only to be met with complete silence yet again. "Wahaha! Why not just open it? I'm sure it's not gonna be locked!" Tsukasa pushed open the door, and sure enough, it wasn't locked. It looked to be the same layout, just way more modernized and minimalistic looking. Stairs leading to the second floor, and a dining table next to the kitchen. Rui immediately got flashbacks of eating vegetables. "Urgh... Hopefully, there's at least something other than vegetables..." Rui hesitantly opened the fridge. "Oh." He said, a bit happy at what he saw. It wasn't vegetables, it was actually pre-cooked food. "Interesting. There's exactly four for each of us." Toya commented, taking a plate of okonomiyaki wrapped in saran wrap, cold to the touch as he placed it on the counter. He also took out some coffee and cookies, his favorites. "It seems to have some deserts, also. And some candy!" Akito happily took some strawberry pancakes, one of his favorites. Other than that, he also took some curry out the fridge. "Fufu... Sweet tooth much, Shinonome-kun?" Rui teased as he took a handful of soda candy, taking a chicken katsu, avoiding vegetable dishes like the plague. Tsukasa was eyeing the ginger fried pork, taking it eagerly. There was at least a microwave, and they each took turns heating up their food. "Itadakimasu!" Four voices rang out in the dining room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Soon enough, they were all full and exploring the house. Akito opened a door on the first floor left of a hallway, and... He saw his worst fear. Dogs. Akito developed a fear for dogs after getting bit by one, and he especially hated chihuahuas. Scary things that look like they would kill you if you got to close.
(Author does not like chihuahuas, i am sorry to all the chihuahua lovers out there)
"Ugh...?! Chihuahuas?!" The Chihuahuas turned to Akito as he practically screamed, running out the house with several chihuahuas hot on his tail. "Akito?-" Toya was suddenly cut off when a flash of ginger hair ran by him, followed by the barking of chihuahuas. "Whats going on? Oh. Shinonome-kun is getting chased by dogs, hm?" Rui chuckled, peeking from the second floor. He came downstairs, laughing in amusement as he went outside. Tsukasa yelled after Akito, "Akito!! You okay?" Trying his hardest not to laugh. Akito was desperately running from several chihuahuas, screaming like a little girl, he was running around the outside of the house. Toya got him to get into the room where he found the chihuahuas, Akito running out so quickly you could practically only see a flash of ginger hair. "Wahaha! It's okay, Akito! The star Tsukasa Tenma is here!" Tsukasa closed and locked the door, looking at Akito who was traumatized from the whole ordeal. "Fufu... Akito Shinonome, scared of dogs?" Rui chuckled in amusement, hands on his hips. "Shut it, Kamishiro-senpai!" Akito shot back, hiding behind Toya. "Don't get worked up, Akito, it's fine.." Toya patted his back comfortingly. "See? Even your boyfrie-" Rui was cut off by a yell from Akito, "SHUT UP! He's not my boyfriend for the last time!" Akito blushed a pink bordering to red, dusting his cheeks and ears.
When they decided to leave the house, Akito was eager to leave. Gripping Toya's hand like a vice, he followed Tsukasa outside. Rui left last, taking the whole bowl of soda candy from the fridge. Tsukasa led the group once again, blabbering nonsense as he talked with the rest.
Chapter 6: Getting out of this new world
Summary:
The whole ordeal of fears faced by the group ends with a spectacular way, spectacular in the way of finding the machine broken and some parts missing. Don't worry, they fix it, though.
Notes:
finally getting to the last chapter of this, 2 more hours to spare
Chapter Text
Rui was sharing some soda candy to Tsukasa when he noticed his machine in the distance. "Fufu, seems like our way back is right there!" The rest turned to where he was looking at. They eagerly approached it, each of them grinning happily. "Aha, why is it broken...? So not wonderhoy, in my opinion." Tsukasa stopped in his tracks as he picked up a green gear, looking at the powered off machine. "Kamishiro-senpai, how do we fix this?" Toya asked, poking at the machine which was spitting out random noises. Akito hummed in the distance, scanning the grasslands for a piece or a gear of the machine. "That's the problem, Aoyagi-kun. I don't know how to fix it!" Rui happily exclaimed, being truthful. "You- Ugh, this is why you're my 13th reason!" Akito stopped humming one of the songs he made, Kashika, and looked at Rui with an annoyed stare. Rui just laughed and picked up a piece of the machine, particularly glass from the casing. "No need to get bitter, Akito!" Tsukasa exclaimed, patting a distraught Akito on the back. Toya was picking up glass shards left and right, careful not to step on them, or get cut.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The group stayed quiet, trying to find pieces of the machine. Tsukasa wasn't doing much progress, as he was struggling to find gears or glass, although being trained in piano, he wasn't great at finding things. Akito had given up on finding them, laying on the grass, giving his pieces to Toya. His partner was doing great, as he was trained in piano and violin, eyes practiced to notice things. Toya was picking up pieces left and right, making Rui quite delightful at the progress while he figured out how to fix the machine. Rui called all of the rest near the machine after approximating that they had enough to fix it, laughing at Akito's miserable expression after he had enough of this nonsense. "Come here, everyone! Fufu, don't look so disgruntled, Shinonome-kun. We're getting out of here quite fast, aren't we?" Rui chuckled, taking apart the machine. "Wonderhoy! Finally, we're getting out!" Tsukasa watched in fascination, staying a safe distance from all the wires.
"How troublesome..." Akito groaned, sitting on the grass with his partner.
"But at least we aren't stuck here for all eternity." Toya laughed at the expression which Akito made.
"Don't say random stuff like that?!" Akito stared at Toya, concerned at the other boys humor.
"Hey, lovebirds, Fufu... We're done here. Are you coming back with us or not?" Rui waved to them, calling them over. Akito grit his teeth as he blushed a bit, coming over, dragging Toya with him. Toya also had pink dusted on his cheeks, coming willingly. "Hahah! Finally!" Tsukasa, eager to head back to see his beloved sister, immediately jumped in the machine. Rui followed suit as he chuckled, and Akito walked in hesitantly with Toya. Rui was still holding the large bowl of soda candy, his favorites, when he activated it.
The world was spinning, the same feeling Akito got when he first ended up in this world with the rest. Soon, they did end up at school once again, but at what cost? It was 4:30AM, and each of their phones when they left them on the rooftop were blowing up with messages. They had a lot of explaining to do, especially Akito with his sister.
