Chapter Text
It was pretty cloudy when Tsukasa had left the house. He went down to the garden, and grabbed a “magic dowser” as he called it. Tsukasa went to find a secret well, while looking for it he went out of his yard, and up the hill beside the house.
Tsukasa’s family had just moved into a new house. His family couldn’t play with him because his parents were working, and Amane, Tsukasa’s older twin, didn’t want anything to do with him.
A small landslide caused Tsukasa to snap out of his thoughts. “Hello? Is anyone there?” He called out. No answer. That was until he heard a growl. Tsukasa’s fear got a grip on him, and he immediately ran away.
Tsukasa got to a flat part of the hill, and then he heard the growl again. He looked behind him and it was just a regular black cat.
“Oh! You’re just a cat, you really scared me.” Tsukasa said reassuringly. Tsukasa went to go pet the cat before going back to finding the well. “magic dowser, Magic dowser, show me well!”
A honking noise interrupted Tsukasa again after he said that sentence. He looked up at the hill, and saw a dirt bike. The person on the bike had a mask on.
Once they came down the hill, they knocked tsukasa off his feet. The figure approached Tsukasa and adjusted the thing on its mask.
“Oh my gosh I’m so sorry! Are you okay kid?” They said, as they took off the mask. Underneath the mask was a girl with pinkish eyes. She also had beige hair with teal tips. Her hair went down to her neck.
“Y-yea I’m good” Tsukasa responded with. “I take you’re from somewhere from Tokyo?” She said “uh yeah? What’s your name anyways?” Tsukasa asked “oh! I’m Yashiro nene, but my friends call me daikon… Did you just move into that house?” Nene said while pointing at the pink palace. Tsukasa nodded. “Oh! I’m surprised that you were able to move in there. My grandma owns that place she doesn’t let anyone who has kids live there.” She responded.
“What’s your name anyways?” Nene asked. “O-oh I’m Tsukasa Yugi, ma’am! I’m 11, and I have the best older brother ever! His name is Amane! I think you’ll like him!” Tsukasa immediately responded with. “I see… I guess I’m 2 years older than you, I’m 13. Oh I see you met this guy huh?” Nene said while walking towards the cat. Tsukasa asked her “is he yours?” Nene responded with “oh, no I sometimes feed him, and he’ll bring me dead things.”
“Do you know where a secret well?”
Tsukasa asked. “You’re on top of it.” She said “they say if you fall in you’ll see a sky full of stars in the middle of the day.”
A voice interrupted them in the distance calling for Yashiro. “Yashiro! Where are you?” They yelled again “I’m over here! I’m just hanging out with our new neighbor!” She said while running over to her dirt bike. She looked back and said “see you around Yugi-kun!” And she drove off.
Once she left, tsukasa went to go grab a pebble and drop it down the well and waited for it to hit the ground. Once it hit the ground it started raining.

“i almost fell down a well yesterday, mom.”
“That’s nice”
“Can I go out? I think it’s perfect weather for gardening.” Tsukasa said. He was back in the house again and talking to his mom. “No Tsukasa, rain makes mud, mud makes a mess.” She said. Tsukasa accepted defeat and sat down at the table with her. “Tsukasa leave, you still have unpacking to do, Lots of unpacking.” She told him.
Tsukasa groaned and was about to leave until his mom said something again. “Oh yea, a girl left this on our front porch.” She said before give him something wrapped in a newspaper. There was also a letter inside that said
“Hey Yugi!
Look what I found in my grandma’s
Study! Look familiar?
,Yashiro.
Tsukasa continued to open and found a doll that looked exactly like him. “A little me?” He said. “What’s her name?” Tsukasa’s mom asked. “Nene.” He replied.

“Hi dad. How’s the writing going?” Tsukasa said. “Dad.” Tsukasa repeated. “Hello Tsukasa, and Tsukasa doll.” His dad said. “Do you know where the gardening tools are?” Tsukasa asked.
“It’s uh poaring out there isn’t it?” His dad said. Tsukasa nodded. “What did the boss say?” Tsukasa responded with “she said no.”
Tsukasa got distracted with the creaking door. Soon he started playing with the door. “Did you know that this house is 150 years old? You should go count all the doors, and windows. List everything that’s blue. Just let me work.”
Tsukasa took the notepad from his dad, and left to go explore the house.

Tsukasa soon found himself in their living room. He noted down what he found. A painting, four windows and no more doors.
Tsukasa went for the little him but it wasn’t there. “Yohoo! Little me? Where are you? Are we playing hide and seek?” He called out.
Once he found it, tsukasa found a little door small enough to crawl through.
