Work Text:
It had been a busy day at work for Michael. First they filmed a two-parter GTAV video, then a Minecraft video, then he had a little lunch break before having to go on the RT Podcast. Michael was so ready to go back to his apartment and lay down on his bed for the night.
But he couldn't.
Michael got back to his apartment, and instead of laying on his bed, he went to his closet and pulled out a nicer outfit than the tee-shirt, jeans, and beanie he had been wearing all day. After he changed and went to the bathroom, Michael got in his car and drove to the nearby strip club.
In all honesty, Michael did not think he was getting paid enough at Achievement Hunter. And he didn't mind serving drinks to guys facing the same way he was, towards the female strippers. The way the club was set up was that you walk in and straight ahead is the double sided bar. Then to your right is the female strippers and to your left is the male strippers. Michael worked part time nights at the female side of the bar, while his co-worker, Parker, worked on the male side.
It was a new week, and Michael was relieved to see the tarp gone from the mirror dividing the two bars. He was not as relieved when he went behind the counter and noticed that the mirror was gone too.
"What the hell?"
Parker turned around, "I know right? Kinda pisses me off that I can see the girls, ya know, since I'm not gay and also since one of my friends is usually up there."
"Yah, but why did they do this though?"
"Boss said it was too much money to buy a new one and the old one was cracked, we couldn't keep it."
"Damn."
Michael wasn't mad about this for the same reason Parker was. Michael was mad because, even if he hadn't told anyone, he was bisexual.
All night, Michael caught himself glaring to the other side of the bar, only to be stopped by older men asking for more drinks.
Then, about an hour into Michael's shift, a group of all of the strippers went backstage to take a break while the next rotation came out.
Usually, this is the point where Michael would get tired, because most men waited until then to grab drinks, but he wasn't tonight. He was still glancing over to the other side of the club, taking in all the new male strippers that had just walked out.
Some were more built than the others, some had more tattoos, some seemed to have massive packages, but only one had a slightly large member beneath a really hairy chest that led up to a smooth face with a large nose and messy dirty blond hair, and oh my god.
"Gavin?!" Michael let out on accident, but low enough that no one that cared heard him.
Michael turned back around, face reddening, to ask the straight men what drinks they wanted.
He couldn't stop looking back, though.
---
Right before Michael's shift was up, the strippers switched around again, and he noticed Gavin was one of the males to go backstage.
Then it was 12:00am and Michael was done for that night.
As he was walking out of the door, he noticed some men walking out the back door, and among them was Gavin wearing his "touch my awesome button" shirt and jeans. Michael didn't know if he wanted to call Gavin over, or pretend this never happened. But he chose to ignore it for now.
---
The next day in the office was awkward, but only for Michael. Gavin was in as good of a mood as he normally was, and it almost pissed Michael off. He wanted to just grab Gavin and ask him about the night before, and maybe even see if Gavin could show any tricks off to him, but he knew better.
---
That night, Michael was off, he only worked Monday and Wednesday through Friday each week. And although he had planned on staying home and playing Call of Duty, Michael got in his car and drove to the strip club.
"I thought you didn't work Tuesdays?" Parker asked in a cheerful, curious tone when Michael reached the bar.
"I don't, I'm actually here for the show tonight."
"Well, that's a first," to this, they both shared a laugh, "I'll see you on your way out then."
"Actually," Michael started as he walked in front of the side of the bar Parker was working, "you'll see me a bit before."
"Oooh, somebody's not as straight as I thought!"
"Heh, yah, what can I say, I swing both ways."
He got a drink from Parker and went over to a table closer to the male's stage.
After a moment of just feeling bi as ever, watching the male strippers dance around, Michael forgot why he was there. That is, until he remembered.
After some men had walked away, and after many off looks from the straight women in the crowd, and after the new "batch" of strippers had come on stage, Michael was looking right at the reason he was there.
Most of the men darted their eyes around the crowd and landed on Michael for a split second longer, because he was the only man in the crowd that night. But not Gavin. Gavin had some amount of stage fright to where he had to try his best not to look anyone in the audience in the eyes. This made some of his moves difficult, though, because he either had to meet someone in the eyes, thus making his body tense, or just meet their forehead, breaking the illusion for the lucky guest.
Michael knew about Gavin's fear, but he was still disappointed when the only man that didn't look at him for long was the only man he was there for. He really didn't want to, but Michael was so swept up in the moment and all his many emotions, most good, some a little more mad, and some a bit drunk, that he called out for Gavin.
"Gavvy boi!" the way it came out was more of a deep chant than the surrounding girls' squeals.
To this, Gavin immediately darted his eyes to the only male in the crowd. It took him only a second to realize that Michael was the one who called for him, and he started blushing. He started blushing hard. And that wasn't the only thing he was doing hard. And Michael could tell.
Gavin walked closer to the side of the stage that no one else was on, and acting seductively as part of his job, motioned for Michael to walk towards him, so that's what Michael did. Over the music, they could barely hear each other talk, but they knew each other well enough to understand everything.
"Michael, how did you know I was here?"
This was not the question he was expecting first. He was expecting more of a "you're on the wrong side of the club, boi" type thing.
"Well, I actually work the other side of the bar most nights, and they just took down the dividing mirror last weekend."
"Oh, I see," with this, Gavin kept dancing, because he would be fired if he was caught just standing there, and Michael wasn't the only one feeling underpaid at Rooster Teeth. But the more Gavin danced in front of Michael, the more they both liked it. Michael could tell Gavin liked it, what from the seemingly hard package, and he could feel that he liked it too, but he wasn't sure if Gavin could tell either.
Truth was, Gavin could. He felt his face burning and his dick hardening, and he could just barely tell that Michael was doing the same. But he didn't care, he just cared about counting the freckles on Michael's face, wishing they were much closer to him.
Then Gavin backed up and continued dancing in front of the large crowd of girls, and he could hear an occasional "Whoo!" from Michael any time he did something daring and, in Michael's opinion, hot.
---
After Gavin went backstage, Michael went outside and waited by the back exit.
It took a minute of waiting, but then exited Gavin out of the building. Today he was wearing a green shirt with the Achievement Hunter logo on the front.
"Hey, boi," Michael sounded a bit enticing when he said this, which made sense, seeing he had just walked out of a strip club while staring at the guy walking next to him.
Gavin was a bit startled by Michael's voice. He had probably guessed Michael would have gone home or stayed inside.
"Hey, Michael."
There was a silence between the two of them for a beat before Gavin continued, "Please don't tell anyone about this."
"I work the bar and I haven't told anyone that, you really think I'd tell them that you work the stage?"
"For popularity points, along with hurting me, I wouldn't be shocked."
"Nah, boi, I would never tell them something this personal," at this, Michael threw a, just slightly drunken, arm over Gavin, and the taller boy allowed it.
"What if," Michael started, but lost confidence with his question and fell quiet.
"What if what, boi?"
Through mumbles that no one except Gavin could ever understand, Michael continued his question, "What if I drive you home, to my apartment I mean, and you teach me some of those moves you did on the stage?"
At this, Gavin blushed even more than he had when grinding in front of Michael just minutes before, "I wouldn't mind that."
They walked in silence to Michael's car, both of them blushing a lot.
Michael was in the driver's seat before Gavin had sat down, but the moment he did, Michael pulled Gavin's face towards his own. Before any contact had been made, Michael stopped and whispered, so that his breath was touching Gavin's, "I've wanted to do this for a while, boi."
"Me too," Gavin whispered back, followed by Michael brushing his lips against Gavin's.
They started just kissing, but Michael wanted more. He started to push his tongue into Gavin's mouth, before Gavin started doing the same. After a minute of counting each other's teeth with their tongues, Michael started to bite Gavin's lips. And though Gavin didn't moan at this, he wasn't so silent about it.
It didn't take Gavin much longer to remember that they were in a car with windows, and he started to tense up, so he pulled his face away from Michael's. "We aren't even in your apartment yet."
"You're right," Michael started whispering, but ended up growling his next words, only making Gavin more crazy, "That's 'cause the night hasn't hardly started."
