Some Reference to help you imagine the scenes!: All Game Over Death Scenes In Batman Arkham Series
Shelly (Ranger Ranch)
--Scene 1--
She walks in from the distance, squatting down on the sand. and
Her elbow rests on the handle of her shotgun, it's driven down into the ground.
“You shoulda stayed off my turf... Now you're just another story to tell on the Ranch!”
--Scene 2--
She walks in from the distance, shotgun in hand.
“Other shells may miss... but I never do. Nighty-night outlaw!”
--Scene 3--
She walks in from the distance, cocking her shotgun... “Now where'd your friends run off to?”
Her eyes quicky darted around, finally spotting them.
She waves over to Colt and Spike to follow. "Let's go get 'em!"
Colt (Ranger Ranch)
--Scene1--
Colt walks forward disappointed and annoyed. He's wiping blood from his lip, and tending a bruise.
"C'mon man, I told you not the face!" He walks off shaking his head
--Scene 2--
Colt walks in, his arm rested on the holster holding his left revolver. His face pompous.
"What was I supposed to go easy on you?" He scoffs. "Sorry NOOB." He walks off all the same.
--Scene 3--
Colt rushes in, trying to hide his exhaustion. "W-Was that supposed to be a shootout?"
He pants, trying to catch his breath. "I've had way worse! Your aim sucks!"
Spike (Ranger Ranch)
--Scene 1--
Spike waddles in, ending up leaning over you. He studies your broken, battered body.
He gives a tiny shrug, then turns and waddles off again.
--Scene 2--
Spike approaches you, his hollow grin was stretched impossibly wide.
Then, sharp needles bloom from his rough, cactus palms.
He raises the hand… and slowly closes it over your face.
--Scene 3--
Spike bounds in, jumping and hopping with delight. He then stops...
A needle grenade jaggedly forms in his green hand. He giggles silently… and starts walking over to you.
Barley (Townsfolk Trio)
--Scene 1--
Barley cordially approaches, then looks down over your soaked, bruised body.
"A light-weight I presume? Don't be ashamed, there are many like you!" He then happily walks off.
--Scene 2--
Barley approaches, only to kneel beside your crumpled, damaged body. He then straightened your clothes, and dusted them off!
"You gave it your best, and that's what counts!" He then shot up, and walked away whistling.
--Scene 3--
Barley approaches hurriedly, with a worried expression.
"Were those... a little... strong?" He pauses, and ponders. "Worry not, that one's on the house!" He then straightens up, and walks off.
Piper (Townsfolk Trio)
--Scene 1--
Piper kneels down beside you, as you laid there, barely breathing.
“Awww, I’m so sorry, sweetie… I meant to aim for the head..." She pauses, then continues. "I don't miss real often."
--Scene 2--
Piper daintily approaches, then stands over you, twirling her parasol.
“Awwww, bless your heart…! You didn’t actually think you could dodge that, did you?” She says, with an amused expression.
--Scene 3--
Piper approaches, kneeling beside you, indifferent to you coughing up blood. She laid there with a beautifully decorated tin, delicately removing its lid.
"Now that you're down, would you be a dear and try one of these? I’ve really been lookin' to improve."
She gently places a cookie on your bruised, trembling hand, and notices you wince beneath the scorching sun, bleeding and gasping.
"Aww... poor thing. That sunlight’s awfully harsh, ain't it? Lemme go-on n' get that outcher face."
She pops open her parasol over the both of you, revealing the heavy sniper rifle within, then turns back to you.
Byron (Townsfolk Trio)
--Scene 1--
Byron was about to step over your wounded body, but he stops and looks down.
"Mm..? Oh no, don't look so shocked." He takes out thin batch of papers, then adjusts his glasses. "The side affects were right here, fine print, bottom of the page."
"You should have read the contract before signing, with your LIFE."
He stashes them away, and continues on.
--Scene 2--
Byron approaches, looming over your wounded, crippled body.
"Ah yes... the CLASSIC symptoms of acute incompetence."
He adjusts the cufflinks of his sleeves, then from within reveals a vial of green liquid.
"How do you figure... we test out... a new extract..."
--Scene 3--
Byron dusts himself off as he stands over you, listening to you groan in pain. His face twists in annoyance.
“Dear lord... you're not DYING! You're undergoing changes..." He pauses. "Consider this plan... eternal, rest.”
He clicks his pen and scribbles something. “Of course, I must bill you... for the entire consultation...”
Bo (Shaman Tribe)
--Scene 1--
Bo steps forward from the shadows, one arrow in hand, his bow in another.
"My ancestors have always guided me... a blessing it is, truly... One you do not hold. Do not bring yourself down, for your defeat."
He turns around, and vanishes into the shadows of the forest.
--Scene 2--
Bo approaches and kneels down beside you, he sets you upright.
"Fighting without purpose only leads to defeat... It seems even the spirits have warned you, and yet, you charged ahead."
Bo then raises his head to see an eagle circling overhead. He nods, then gets up and marches on... Fading into the shadows of the forest.
--Scene 3--
Bo slowly walks past your fallen being, his eyes piercing and resilient.
"You fought bravely..." He pauses. "But bravery alone cannot silence the winds... or the will of the spirits...!"
He pulls his Eagle Headdress on tighter, while disappearing into the forest.
Nita (Shaman Tribe)
--Scene 1--
Bruce thunders toward your broken body from the shadows, slamming the ground with his paws. He rears up on two feet, looming over you. Nita pokes out from behind his shoulder,
"You’re not even prey! Sooo weak! Ha-haha!"
She then pats Bruce’s head. With a compliant snort, he stomps off with her still perched.
--Scene 2--
The ground is quaking. You try to crawl away, but Bruce crashes his paw down inches from your face. Nita peeks out from behind him, eyes wild.
"Rah-haha! Don't worry, some animal will make good use of you..."
She scampers into the trees as Bruce lets out a low, rumbling growl, and follows.
--Scene 3--
Your vision is blurry. There's dirt in your mouth... You hear paws scraping... Then Nita bounds forward from the shadows of the forest, landing Infront of you.
"Grrrah-haha! Even CUBS are stronger than you!"
She then sniffs the air, and with a curious expression, turns back to the forest and dashes inside.
Leon (Shaman Tribe)
--Scene 1--
You're gasping for air, looking around. You hear the sound of footsteps, but don't see anything... Then, Leon fades from his camouflage.
"Nice...! I didn’t even have to go hard that time!"
He mocks, then walks back off into the forest, hands in hoodie. He slowly fades into invisibility.
--Scene 2--
Leon strolls up to you, humming with his lollipop in his mouth, You watch fearfully... but then he poofs into magical smoke! The real Leon pokes out from behind you...
"Ha! You shoulda seen the look on your face!"
He gets up from your level and turns to the forest, flinging a shuriken right into your leg before he's fully out of sight.
--Scene 3--
Leon crouches beside you, spinning a shuriken on his finger.
"Y'know, Bo says that feeling you get in battle, that... exciting rush? It’s the spirits... giving you one last push to win..."
He grins mischievously, while getting up from your level still looking down on you.
"I wonder when I’ll get it."
He laughs quietly and vanishes again.
Pam (Junker Family)
--Scene 1--
Pam waltzes on over to you, crunching on pieces of metal and steel. She looms tall.
“Straight to the scrap heap! You'll rust real nice down there... Ha!"
She turns hoists up her blaster and makes her way off.
--Scene 2--
Pam approaches pompously, but changes demeanor when you wince in pain.
“Ugh...! Don’t go cryin’!”
She holsters her blaster up to her pack. “Tell ya what, if it makes ya feel any better… That fight left me all outta scrap.”
She makes her way off.
--Scene 3--
Pam walks over, and stands tall.
"And I thought this thing ain't work no-more! Some tinkering really does fix everything!"
She looks down at you, with a puzzled expression. "I mean, maybe not you though."
She holsters the blaster, and makes her way off.
Nani (Junker Family)
--Scene 1--
Nani approaches and peers over you, her robotic eye whirring quietly.
"I was afraid you were going to sneak by me… but you're a bit too slow for that, luckily!"
She taps on her beeping tablet while waddling off.
--Scene 2--
Peep floats over to you and Nani follows closely. They both look down on you.
"See! I calculated this much voltage would be just enough!"
Nani happily skips off, Peep following close.
--Scene 3--
Nani carefully steps around your jolting, paralyzed, body. She lowers herself as much as she can to your level.
"If it's alright, I recorded that encounter to show Jessie when I get home...I figured she might find it quite interesting!" A quick chirp from Peep.
"But don't worry! I won't share it... Embarrassing moments like that should always be kept private!
Nani then marches off.
Jessie (Junker Family)
--Scene 1--
Jessie runs over excitedly, she grins wide while witnessing the electric sparks that are still arcing off your twisted body.
"Yes!! The shock rifle worked!! See, I knew if I reversed the capacitor polarity and compensated for the coil's flux resonance, then something like..."
You groan, while slowly losing consciousness. Her rambling voice begins to get quieter and distant... everything starts fading to black.
--Scene 2--
Scrappy stomps toward your twitching body with little piston hisses, he robotically barks. Jessie follows, while watching amazed.
"Go on, boy! You know what to do! Right between the eyes, yep! Just like we practiced!"
You hear a faint sound of loading while scrappy slowly whirrs over and aims at you. Jessie clasps her hands in excitement.
--Scene 3--
Jessie rushes over to Scrappy, who is guarding your bleeding wounded body, and watching every corner. She crouches down and rubs him on his steel cheeks.
"Who's a good boy! Yes... You! Yesss you are!" Scrappy releases a robotic bark.
She turns over to you. "Rough day huh? Hey still, I've gotta thank you for helping me field test the new targeting systems!"
She signals to Scrappy to follow her, as they both prance off into the distance.
