Summary
How a traumatic experience can change the course of history, inadvertently turning freedom into conquest. Follow a hurt, smart, and ruthless Luffy, in possession of the Goro Goro no mi(Enel's fruit), in his new quest to find the One Piece, but not for the reason you'd imagine.
This fic focuses on the crew's feelings, portraying how their traumas and insecurities would really change their lives, turning them a little more real and dark, with more human responses to their problems, also making them not so keen on pirates because of their pasts. This fic tries to portray a more realistic story about the crew and their array of feelings towards the world, the people around them, themselves, and especially, pirates.
