‘Yixuan said the stop is nearby’ Wise looked at the passing buildings and roadside constructions
“Hey, stop ogling out the window, where do you even want me drop your ass?” Magus asks
“Just over here is fine” Wise spoke prompting the woman to slow her speed and come to a full stop by the sidewalk allowing Wise to step out
“Thank you, Ms. Magus,” Wise smile with gratitude
“Are you sure you’ll be good bro?” Belle asks
“He’s grown” Magus rolls up the window and drives off with Seed waving at the man
“I’m surprised you agreed mom” Orphie said
“Tch, it’s not like I’m his friend or anything, I just don’t want him in my car anymore” Magus spoke
‘Looks like aunty is coming around’ Trigger smiles
With Wise....
“Bus station is just around this corner....” Wise mutters as he takes a turn and finds a bus shelter
‘It’s still a bit early, the bus hasn’t come around yet’ Wise thought as he took a seat
‘Fufu isn’t here either, is she still coming?’
Wise looks around for a moment for any signs of Fufu but none turn up
‘Am I at the correct spot? Yixuan wouldn’t give me the wrong address’ Wise thought as he looked at the woman’s phone chat
‘Definitely at the correct address’
“S-SORRY!” Wise suddenly heard a familiar voice followed by rapid steps approaching and finally ending with Fufu bent over panting to catch her breath; she whipped herself back up.
“I woke up late, I’m sorry” Fufu pants
“No worries, I got here like 3 minutes ago” Wise said
“Did we miss the bus?”
“Uh...” Wise turns and luckily the bus arrives on time
“No” Wise answers as the doors slide open
“I hope there aren’t many people....” Wise stops as he scans to see practically no seats were available and a good number of people were standing in the bus
“Crap” Wise mouths
“Nowhere to sit again?” Fufu speaks
“Just stand over there with the others” the driver’s raspy voice instructed as the door closed up
Wise observed the area and picked up on a suspicious bunch of passengers
‘Now I see why Yixuan said to come with Fufu’ Wise thought as he suddenly grabbed the thiren’s hand
“E-Eep” Fufu blushes
“Stay in front of me, I’ll shield you, I don’t trust some guys I’ve seen” Wise whispered as they found a spot in the packed area
‘I’ll trust Mr. Wise’ Fufu did as instructed and took a spot near Wise right in front of his line of sight
‘It’s a bit cramped’ Wise thought as he felt the bodies pressing onto him
“Hehe~” Wise heard a murmur nearby and swiftly covered up Fufu even more
‘Pervs’ Wise thought as his arm blocked off any access to the girl
“Mr. Wise...” Fufu looked back at the man
“Don’t worry” Wise smiles with reassurance causing a blush to appear on Fufu’s cheeks
‘Even though he knows I can fight well, he is still here taking care of me’ Fufu thought with a warmth in her chest
“NEXT STOP!” The driver’s voice crackles through the bus
“That’s not us yet, it’s the one after” Fufu mutters to Wise
“Alrig-” Wise was cut off by some shoving and pushing past his shoulders
‘Fufu’ Wise thought as he instinctively moved to cover the girl
“Are you okay? Did anybody do anything?” Wise asks
“I-I’m alright, d-don't worry much” Fufu blushes
The ride was a bit more silent for the two, a couple minutes go by of just standing as the outside passes by the windows quickly
“NEXT STOP!”
“Let’s get out of here, this place stinks” Wise urged as he and Fufu rushed to the exit. The pair’s exit was successful, and the bus drove off
“Everything on you?” Wise asked
“I-I have everything”
“Great, at least we weren’t pickpocketed or worse”
“Yeah, worse” Fufu agrees as she paces up to be right at Wise’s side
“How is academics coming along?” Wise asks
“Oh uh, they’re you know” Fufu says with a bit of embarrassment
“Is it easier now?”
“T-The teachers aren’t exactly meshing well with me, not that I have a problem with them or anything, I-I just don’t get how they teach”
“Ah, I see, it’s a matter of explanation then”
“W-When I’m with you, i-it's a bit clearer” Fufu rests a hand atop her head with shyness
“I’m glad to hear it, plus as an encouragement, I know you are a hard worker, you can definitely do it”
“Thanks, us tiger thirens are fierce, we don’t give up easily” Fufu puffs her chest up with pride
“Tiger?” Wise cocks an eyebrow
Fufu’s ear stiffen along with her tail
“What did you think I was?” Fufu pouted
Wise was at a loss for words; there was almost no possible escape
‘Shit, I miscategorized her, that might’ve racist’ Wise thought
“Uh...”
“You didn’t think I was an orange cat thiren did you?” Fufu’s voice quietens with a sadness
‘She’s sad, I made a girl sad’ Wise panicked
“Orange cat thirens are cute too”
“H-Huh?” Fufu’s eyes widen
‘C-Cute?’
“I-I'M NOT CUTE!” Fufu lets out a pitched roar
‘Rightttt’ Wise thought
“I’m sorry Senior” Wise does a bow of respect
“O-Oh yeah, you are also Shifu’s disciple and my junior” Fufu remembers
“I apologize cute senior” Wise muses
“I’M NOT CUTE!” Fufu crosses her arms and pouts as she turns her nose up away from Wise with a blush resting on her cheeks
‘At least I diverted from the orange cat thiren thing’ Wise thought with relief as the school came into view

‘I hope this won't be trouble’ Wise thought as he pressed on into the gymnasium to find the equipment set up
“Where are the club members?” Wise looks around for a moment to find nobody is sight
‘Maybe I’m early’
“Oh” a voice pipes up prompting Wise to snap his head to the side
“Do you need something sir?”
“Oh yeah, I’m supervising” Wise speaks
“You must be Mr. Wise”
‘This is Ye Shiyuan’s sister, Shungguang’ Wise thought
‘Orphie and Seed are back doing the assignment I gave them, where is Fufu? Her time starts when it’s time for sports’ Wise scratched his head
“I’M HERE!” Fufu barrels in through the door hopping as she pulls her shoe on the other foot
“Senior, I thought you weren’t coming” Shungguang said
“I always come” Fufu swiftly ties up her shoe
“Junior Wise” Fufu greets with a smile
“Senior Fufu” Wise gives a smile back
“Senior?” Shungguang cocks an eyebrow
“Oh yeah, hi other Senior” Wise turns to Shunguang who freezes in place
“W-What did you call me?”
“Senior...” Wise repeats
“I HAVE A NEW JUNIOR!” Shungguang loses her cool and rushes Wise who immediately gets on guard because of the high speed of the thiren girl
“So Shifu wasn’t joking about you, you’re really my new junior, yes yes yes” Shungguang gushed with giddy movements
Wise looked over at Fufu who shrugged
“Uh” Wise paused
“Mh?” Shungguang looks up with nothing but pure enthusiasm in her eyes and a wide grin.
“Just to clarify, I’m not like fighting, just like a spiritual one” Wise speaks
“That’s fine, we’re all the same too, Junior Wise” Shungguang snags Wise’s arm and pulls him
‘She’s holding his arm...’ Fufu grumbles with a furrowed brow
“Oh, we’re gonna have so much fun” Shungguang beams
‘I thought it wasn’t going to be trouble’ Wise exhales lightly
“A breathing exercise already? We can do that too, mind relaxing technique, since I’m your senior I can teach you a lot more, come” Shungguang said
“Oh, I was just here to su-”
“So, first thing, you have to get into the zone” Shungguang immediately dropped to meditation position
‘I should have said no, why did I agree to this so easily?’ Wise thought back
Wise endured the next hour and a half of word salad and meditation teachings from a very energetic and eager Shungguang who only showed signs of stoppage only when the school bell demanded it.
‘Hell yes, it’s over’ Wise celebrated internally as he shot up to stand
“Come Fufu, study time” Wise urged
“Please come again” Shungguang waves as she sees Wise leave with Fufu
“She was something” Wise speaks to Fufu
“She loves teaching juniors, when Orphie and Seed joined Junior Ye was all over them” Fufu explains
‘I’ll probably be minimal there’ Wise thought back to Shungguang

‘It’s gotten dark’ Wise thought as their walk to the apartment complex ended as the building came into view
“This the place?” Wise asks
“Mhm” Fufu nods
“It's a nice building, good location” Wise remarks
“Shifu picked this one because she said the fengshui is the best here” Fufu said
“I guess this is where we-”
In the back of Wise’s mind multiple scenarios play into his head
‘Maybe I should walk her inside, I’ve watched to many true crime documentaries’ Wise thought
“Let me take you inside” Wise offered as he led the charge into the building
“L-Let me lead the way” Fufu stumbled to catch up and take point
Navigation to Fufu’s residence was relatively smooth, only delayed by the amount of time the elevator took to reach their floor, but otherwise things were alright, mostly.
“This is my house” Fufu showed the door
“Nice place, I like the uh...the door handle” Wise muses
“You're so funny” Fufu chuckles as she holds the key card to the scanner and swings open the door
“Is that little tiger?” a voice speaks
“Big sis Yiji” Fufu beams as she drops her satchel and runs to hug a Yixuan lookalike
‘She looks just like...’ Wise squinted his eyes as he imagined an image of Yixuan meshing with the unknown woman
‘This is the guest she was talking about’
‘Maybe I should’ Wise creeps to shut the door discretely
“Hey, who’s this guy?” the woman pipes up
‘My social battery is dead’ Wise groaned
“This is Mr. Wise” Fufu introduces with a smile
“Wise?” Yijiang repeats curiously
“That’s me” Wise chuckles
‘Please don’t drag this out’ Wise hoped
“Is something the matter?” Yixuan suddenly appears in a t-shirt and pants
The woman looked towards the door and froze as a blush slowly crept onto her face
“Ahem” Yixuan immediately went back to her usual demeanor
“I see you brought Fufu home safe” Yixuan’s voice was close to how it usually was but with a slight amount of shakiness
“What’s with the switch up? You were relaxed earlier” Yijiang questioned
“I brought her” Wise cuts
‘Please let me leave, I can’t be seeing Shifu in this state’ Wise fought to maintain composure
‘This is not the little sis I grew up with, acting prim and proper and not like one of those old heads’ Yijiang deduced
“Thank you, I cannot keep you outside for long” Yixuan walks up to the door
“I don't mind it much” Wise jokes as he begins his walk off
Yixuan’s heart stirred
‘Control, don’t be impuls-’
“Get home safe” Yixuan immediately shuts her mouth
Yijiang smirks
“I will” Wise smiles as he leaves farther down the corridor
‘Stupid mouth, can’t ever listen’ Yixuan cursed as she shut the door
“Fufu, why don’t you go settle?” Yijiang said
“Alright” Fufu picked up her satchel and drifted off into her space with the door closing behind her
Yijiang only gives Yixuan a smug look
“Please don’t start” Yixuan walked past her sister and towards the kitchen area
“Get home safe” Yijiang mocked
“Stop it” Yixuan blushed but luckily her back was turned to Yijiang
Yijiang giggled
“A trial of the heart, is it?” Yijiang said
Yixuan tenses up
“I have no such tribulation”
“Not from what I can see, I can sense it too” Yijiang spoke
“You cannot do such”
“Whatever you say” Yijiang accepted
‘Wise...’ Yijiang thought
