The Sun & The Moon

Summary:

Steven is the Moon, silver and silent, glowing with quiet gravity.
JL is the Sun, radiant and burning, the heartbeat of day.

Twin flames flung to opposite ends of the sky, forever circling but never touching.
The Moon watches from the darkness, aching with devotion.
The Sun rises with longing, pouring warmth toward a love he cannot hold.

Then, once in the endless weave of time, the cosmos bends its rules. Shadows curve toward light, night softens into day, and the sky hushes to witness the sacred union. In the fleeting breath of an eclipse, the Moon and the Sun dissolve the distance that fate has carved between them.

Steven reaches out and claims JL, pulling him close into the tender gravity of silver and shadow. JL offers everything to Steven in return: his fierce fire, his burning heart, and his all-consuming light. They meet where darkness melts into brilliance, where stars pause and galaxies hold their breath.

This is the story of a love written across the infinite sky, a SteJay eclipse radiant with longing and tenderness. Across the vast heavens, the cosmos watches in silence, aching for the moment the Moon pulls the Sun into his arms, and they surrender to each other again.

Chapter 1: The Sun & The Moon

Chapter Text

[ THE • SUN ]

The sun had always burned bright ,

his rays a constant flood of golden warmth.

He was the center of the sky,

the one who made the world awake and alive,

filling everything with color and light.

Each day, he rose without fail,

casting his brilliance over everything in his reach.

He was the keeper of the day,

the light that guided,

the power that energized.

But as much as JL reveled in his brilliance,

there was a corner of his heart hidden deep beneath

his glowing surface, that longed for something

he couldn't touch, something beyond his grasp.

That something, that one thing, was the moon.

Steven, the moon, was nothing like the sun.

He was soft and quiet, his light pale and cool,

a gentle balm for the darkness.

Where JL was bold, Steven was serene .

Where JL's fire burned fiercely and brightly,

Steven's glow was more subtle, more reflective.

He was the calm to JL's storm,

the quiet beauty to his loud brilliance.

[ THE • MOON ]

The sky was always a vast canvas,

painted with the subtle hues of twilight,

a soft gradient between night and day.

In this eternal expanse, Steven exists .

He is always calm, always quiet,

and forever drawn to the warmth of the sun.

Steven, the moon, glowed softly in the darkness,

a silvery beacon that illuminated the night sky.

His light wasn't his own. It was a reflection,

a soft echo of something far greater.

He shone through the shadows,

a constant presence in the quiet,

offering solace to those lost in the night.

But even in his glow, there was a longing,

a yearning for something more.

JL, the sun, was everything Steven wasn't.

Radiant, fierce, and full of life,

JL commanded the sky with his blazing warmth.

His energy filled the air,

touching everything with his brilliance.

Yet, as vibrant and powerful as he was,

he never saw the way

Steven watched him from afar.

The moon’s heart ached with a tenderness

only the night could understand.
