Chapter Text
[ THE • SUN ]
The sun had always burned bright ,
his rays a constant flood of golden warmth.
He was the center of the sky,
the one who made the world awake and alive,
filling everything with color and light.
Each day, he rose without fail,
casting his brilliance over everything in his reach.
He was the keeper of the day,
the light that guided,
the power that energized.
But as much as JL reveled in his brilliance,
there was a corner of his heart hidden deep beneath
his glowing surface, that longed for something
he couldn't touch, something beyond his grasp.
That something, that one thing, was the moon.
Steven, the moon, was nothing like the sun.
He was soft and quiet, his light pale and cool,
a gentle balm for the darkness.
Where JL was bold, Steven was serene .
Where JL's fire burned fiercely and brightly,
Steven's glow was more subtle, more reflective.
He was the calm to JL's storm,
the quiet beauty to his loud brilliance.
[ THE • MOON ]
The sky was always a vast canvas,
painted with the subtle hues of twilight,
a soft gradient between night and day.
In this eternal expanse, Steven exists .
He is always calm, always quiet,
and forever drawn to the warmth of the sun.
Steven, the moon, glowed softly in the darkness,
a silvery beacon that illuminated the night sky.
His light wasn't his own. It was a reflection,
a soft echo of something far greater.
He shone through the shadows,
a constant presence in the quiet,
offering solace to those lost in the night.
But even in his glow, there was a longing,
a yearning for something more.
JL, the sun, was everything Steven wasn't.
Radiant, fierce, and full of life,
JL commanded the sky with his blazing warmth.
His energy filled the air,
touching everything with his brilliance.
Yet, as vibrant and powerful as he was,
he never saw the way
Steven watched him from afar.
The moon’s heart ached with a tenderness
only the night could understand.
