Chapter Text

The apartment is dark a little too dark and there isn't anybody else in the apartment except a three year old Haruno Shiobana and he is scared that his mother won't come back home.

It has been two hours or maybe six hours since Haruno's mother left the house and Haruno was trying not to cry.

His mother hates kids that cry.

Instead of crying he was biting his finger and trembling and he was doing that for hours. It hurts, it hurts so much the feeling of a sharp fang, his fang biting down his own finger was painful but better than crying because crying was useless for Haruno it only made things worse.

Every time even a single teardrop came from Haruno's eye his mother would stay out of the house longer. The times when his mother says anything to him is just her saying stuff like ‘shut the fuck up or I will be out of the house for six hours’ or saying that he was a mistake, useless, wortles and a waste of time.

More time has passed and Haruno's finger is bleeding from the biting. Haruno can taste the blood comeing from his finger and the blood tastes like blood but for some reason good?

Haruno hears the apartment door opening and his mother walks in and she looks tired, maybe the most tired Haruno has seen her in his life. Haruno's mother ignores his presence in the apartment like always and walks over to her bed. She collapses on her bed and falls asleep easily.

An hour has passed and Haruno is feeling tired and he tries to go to sleep as well but he can not fall asleep. For some reason Haruno can never fall asleep easily. It's properly because he's afraid that his mother will be gone when he wakes up in the morning.

Eventually at some point Haruno fell asleep.

Haruno woke up to his mother cursing in the kitchen. Haruno couldn't hear what his mother was cursing at but she didn’t sound happy.

She never did.

Haruno stayed in his bed and waited for his mother to come to the bedroom to pick him up from his bed.

He waited for like 20 minutes and his mother was still in the kitchen. Haruno decided to get out of his bed himself but it wasn't easy because he was in a crate bed. And crate beds were the worst. And crate beds look like a cage with no roof and with a madrees for a floor and that makes it harder to get out. Luckily for Haruno the bed's railing was low enough for Haruno to get over it.

Haruno got over the railing and he was holding on for dear life on the railing. But he wasn't strong enough to hold on to the railing and he fell to the floor. He hit his head on the ground and he almost started crying.

He heard footsteps, they were his mother's footsteps. “what the hell was that sound!?” he could hear his mother from the other room and she didn't sound happy.

Haruno's mother came into the room and said something to Haruno that Haruno didn't listen to because he was too focused to not cry.

Then Haruno's mother put him in front of the tv and then she put on some children's show so that Haruno doesn't disturb her. And then she went back to the kitchen. For Haruno this is the normal morning routine. He already knew that his mother was making food for herself and something small for him and then she would leave it on the counter for him. Then she would leave the house and then Haruno would be all alone for the rest of the day.

It didn't take that long for his mother to leave home to go to work.

Some time had passed and Haruno was hungry. He made his way to the kitchen to get something to eat. Haruno saw the food that his mother left him but it was out of reach for him. Haruno tried his hardest to reach for the food.

He couldn't reach the food.

After trying for some time Haruno gives up and goes to see if he finds something else to eat. But he doesn't find anything so he goes back to watching tv.

After watching kid shows for hours Haruno started to wonder.

Does everybody else have a loving family or are loving families only in shows for kids?

And if everybody else has a loving family why doesn't he have one?

In the shows he watched every character's mothers were nice and loving to their children. But why was his mother cold and mean to him?

Haruno took the remote and changed the channel to some nature document. Haruno was excited that the document was about frogs. Haruno liked frogs and other animals and bugs. He thought that animals like sharks, seals, cats and all the other animals in the world were awesome. But his favorite animals were frogs and his favorite bugs were ladybugs but butterflies were also cool but he liked ladybugs more. So he was very happy watching the document and he hoped that his mother would come after the document ended.

For some reason his mother didn't like the documents he was watching. He didn't understand why she didn’t like the nature documents. Because to Haruno nature documents were the best thing to watch on the tv.

Haruno had a fun time watching the document and he learned more facts about frogs and some new species of frogs that he didn't know. There was going to be a document of the animals of the amazon rainforest but he didn't get to see more than two minutes of the document because Haruno heard his mother outside of the apartment door.

Before his mother could come back inside the apartment Haruno quiqly changed the channel back to the kids shows his mother put on before she left the house.

His mother enters the apartment and ignores Harunos existens in the apartment and went to the bedroom to change to the clothes she wore to the clubes she went to during the time she left Haruno alone in the apartment.
She came back and went to the kitchen to make food for herself. Then she noticed that the little bit of food she left for Haruno was still on the counter. She didn’t look very happy about it.

“do you fucking think wasting food is a fun way to pass your time? You think that food is free? Is this what you fucking do after I spent my time making you food and giving you a roof over your head!? Do you want to be fucking homeless?” she shouted.

Haruno started to cry, he didn't like it when somebody shouted.

He did something bad

“stop fucking crying and tell me why you didn't eat the food I gave you” she was shouting even more.

He didn't mean to

“I am sorry mama.” he cried

“I-I didn't eat the food you made me b-because I wasn't able to reach it.” He was crying and stuttering now and he knew that his mother won't like that

“c-can you put the food s-somewhere where I can reach it next time p-please?” he stuttered while speaking to his mother. He didn't know why he always stuttered while he talked to her. Was it fear that made him stutter? He didn't know.

“no” she said coldly

“I think I won't. starting from tomorrow you can only get food when I get back home from work and only then. But if you behave I will give you something small before I leave the house after work.”

“Do you understand Haruno?” she asked

“y-yes mama”

“good, go back to watching those stupid kid shows and you are not getting any food for the rest of the day”

Haruno went back to the TV and continued to watch the kid shows. And he could only think ‘are happy families only in kid shows or does everyone else have happy families? But why didn't he have a happy family? Did he do something to deserve this?’

Some time had passed and his mother was leaving to go partying again and Haruno was left home alone again. His mother put him in his bed and before she left.

Haruno was hungry, he hadn't eaten in a long time. He hoped that when his mother would come back he would maybe get some food if he asked her. He had hoped that his mother wasn't making the rule that he could eat only when she came back home from work. But he was wrong.

After hours Haruno's mother came back home and Haruno was starving at that point.

“mama, can I have something to eat? I haven't eaten anything in a long time”

“are you fucking stupid? I clearly said to you that you can only get food when I come back home from work. Did you think that you can get food when I get back home from parting?” she shouted.

Haruno started to cry. He was in pain from eating nothing for a long time.

“stop fucking crying, your fine” she shouted

“are you trying to make my life miserable?” she shouted louder

“I-I'm sorry mama”

“and so you know I didn’t fucking want you. You were the worst thing that happened to me. Your luckily that I didn't leave you in the fucking streets”

“I-I'm s-sorry mama”

“shut the fuck up and don't talk to me. You are wasting my time”

Haruno wanted to be loved by his mother like the kids in the kid shows he has seen. But every time he tried not to be a burden to his mother she still didn't show any love for him.

When Haruno turned four his mother married an Italian man. Haruno and his mother were moving to a place where everyone spoke italian.

At first Haruno didn't know what was happening. One second he was outside of the apartment that had been cleared from all the stuff that he and his mother owned. And then he was somewhere he didn't know and saw his mother in a white dress and some man next to her in a suit. Both of them looked happy and he didn't know why.

Then the man started to walk over to him.

“Haruno, could you come with me to your mother?” the man spoke

“the man over there is going to take a picture of us three” as he pointed his finger to the direction where there was somebody holding a camera

Haruno nodded and followed the man to take the picture. Haruno thought that the man was nice. Unlike his mother he didn't yell at him.

 

Haruno got to know that man was going to be his step father. Haruno was happy at first because he thought he could at least have a loving father.

He was wrong about him being nice.

When he and his mother moved to his stepfather's house he got to know that he would have his own room. Haruno was happy about that and very grateful too.

His bedroom was small but it didn't bother him that much. The only thing that bothered him was the way the furniture in the room was put.

The bed was next to the window in a way that, if Haruno went to sit on the bed where his pillow would go, he would see out the window. Then the table in the room was next to the boor in a way, if Haruno opened the door it would hit the table. The only furniture
in the room that had a good spot was the closet, dresser and the bedside table. Well the bedside table was in the wrong spot with the bed but at least it was next to the bed.

Haruno decided to move the furniture in his room to better spots. First Haruno moved the table in front of the window and rotated the bed so that the bedframe is against the wall where the window is. Haruno was clad that there was enough space between the table and the bed for his bedside table.

It took a while for Haruno to move the furniture in his room. And after the hard work of moving the furniture he was happy with the result. Then he decided to go lay in his bed for the first time in his new home.

The bed was not the most comfortable bed but it was better than his old bed.

Haruno was tired. The move was a very tiring process. Moving stuff around and everything that was happening was confusing.

For Haruno the confusing part was when did his mother meet his stepfather? How did they meet? And why didn't he know anything about it before the move.

Before Haruno could think more about the move and the fact that he has a stepfather now he heard somebody coming up the stairs and coming towards his room.

The door opened.

It was his stepfather.

“Hey kid me and your mother are leaving the house for a little bit”

“okey”

Before his stepfather left he turned back and looked at Haruno in disgust.

“and don't leave your room while we aren't at home but you can only leave if you need to use the bathroom”

Then he left.

Haruno thought it was odd how his stepfather acted. It was strange that out of nowhere his stepfather didn't like Harunos presens. Before he and his mother moved his stepfather was nice to him. But why wasn't he nice at that moment? Did Haruno do something wrong? Haruno didn't know what he did wrong to make his stepfather mad at him.

After a few days Haruno got to know that his stepfather was only acting nice to him when his mother was around.

It was morning and Haruno was in the house with his stepfather. His mother left the house some time ago to go to something.

Haruno was getting a glass of water from the kitchen and accidently dropped the glass of water to the ground.

Then his stepfather was behind him. Before Haruno could notice him he hit Haruno with a belt in the back. After getting hit with a belt, Haruno's stepfather started shouting at him.

Haruno couldn't understand what his stepfather was saying to him because his stepfather was speaking italian and Haruno didn't understand that much of italian yet. But out of nowhere his stepfather called him a blood sucking vampire.

Haruno didn't understand why his stepfather called him that.

Was he a vampire? He did have two sharp front teeth and he does have pale skin and then after moving he found out that he got very badly sunburned when he was outside. But does that make him a vampire? Haruno couldn't think more about it because his stepfather was shouting more at him and hitting him with the belt harder.

“Are you listening to me? Wash the mess you made you useless brat”

“okey”

Then Haruno's stepfather hit him with the belt again

“you say yes sir when I fucking ask you to do something”

“y-yes sir”

Haruno started to wash the mess he made. He tried to glean the mess the best he can and thought he did a good job. But his stepfather didn't think the same as Haruno. Then his stepfather started to hit him even more with the belt and it hurt a lot and after it stopped Haruno got bruised very badly in his back.

Going to school wasn't easy for Haruno either. He got bullied a lot at school but at first it wasn't as bad as how he was treated at home but it got worse over time.

For some reason his very badly getting sunburned turned into him feeling very painful pain every time sunlight touched his skin. It kinda felt like he was set on fire without him even getting set on fire and also him getting very bad scars on the spots the sunlight touched. It took a long time for the scars to heal and if they were bad enough there would be a permined scar on his body.

Because of that Haruno started to wear clothes that covered most of his skin and also he started to use his yellow umbrella to avoid the sun.

At school Haruno's bullies noticed this.

“hey freak why the hell are you useing a umbrella when it's sunny” one of the kids said

“what are you a fucking vampire” as the kid said that he took Harunos umbrella.

It was unlucky for Haruno because that day Haruno was wearing a T-shirt instead of an long sleaved shirt.

Immediately after the umbrella was out of Haruno's hand he started to feel the awful pain in his arms, neck and face but mostly in his arms.

Haruno crouched down and tried to hide his arms from the sun as much as he could. Haruno's bullies noticed that he was in pain after the umbrella was out of his hand and then they started to make it so Haruno was in the sun as much as possible.

The kids that bullied him crapped and made him the sunlight in his arms, face and neck.

Haruno started to feel even more pain and it was properly the worst thing that had happened to him.

When the bell rang for the first class of the day Haruno's bullies stopped and ran away so they wouldn't get in trouble for being late to class.

Haruno was left on the ground.

Why did this have to happen to him?

It took some time for Haruno to get to class and Haruno was late for class and his teacher looked disappointed in him.

When he got to class all of his classmates looked at him weirdly and whispered to each other. Haruno didn't know what they were whispering about but he had a feeling they were whispering about him. It was properly about that he spoke Japanese and didn't know that much Italian or about the scars he had on his arms.

Some of his classmates properly saw him getting bullied and because of that he had no friends.

Why did this have to happen to him?

Haruno hates his school. None of the teachers didn't even care that people in the school were bullied and they were also mean to students that were not doing well in school. And Haruno was one of those students that the teacher didn't like.

Haruno's life got worse after moving and Haruno wished that his mother didn't meet his stepfather.

But Haruno's life got a little better after his mother got a call from someone that said that they were family to Haruno from his biological fathers side of the family tree.

Chapter Text

Four years later

Haruno was eight

Haruno was walking home from school.

It was a good day for Haruno because his bullies were not teasing him as much as they normally did and in the morning before school he didn't make his stepfather or his mother angry. Haruno hoped that the day continued in the same way it had been going.

Haruno made it to his house.

Haruno made his way inside the house and saw his stepfather in the kitchen and he smelled that his stepfather had been drinking. He didn't look happy at all.

Haruno tried to go to his room without his stepfather noticing him.

Haruno made it to the stairs and then the hard part of the sneaking started. For some reason the stairs were so creaky. If Haruno took one wrong step while going up or down the stairs there would be the loudest creak from the stairs.

Haruno hoped that he remembered where not to step.

Haruno made it almost all the way up the stairs but he accidently stepped on the wrong spot on the stairs.

There was a very loud creak from the stairs

“when the fuck did you come home you brat” his stepfather shouted from the kitchen Haruno could hear his stepfather comeing to the stairs.

As quickly as Haruno could, he went to his room to hide.

Haruno was in his room and he had to get quickly into a hiding spot.

“Where do I hide? I have to find a hiding spot before he comes to my room.” Haruno thought

Haruno didn't have many places to hide. It was between hiding under his bed or going inside his closet.

“if I go under my bed he could easily see me and if I went inside of my closet he wouldn't see me if he doesn't open the doors to the closet.” Haruno was thinking for too long if he didn't decide soon his stepfather would find him.

Haruno decided to go inside his closet.

As he closed the closet doors he heard his stepfather enter the room.

“where the hell are you brat” his stepfather shouted

“don't hide from me you little shit” he shouted louder

Haruno covered his mouth with his hand trying to make his breathing quieter so his stepfather couldn't hear him. Haruno could hear his stepfather going through his room then his stepfather was in front of the closet.

Haruno's stepfather opened the doors to his closet

Haruno froze in place when he saw his stepfather and then he started shaking when he noticed the glass bottle in his stepfather's hand.

“There you are, you little shit. You tried hiding from me you vampire beast”

Then Haruno's stepfather pulled Haruno from his closet and was holding him from his shirt collar in the air.

It was getting harder for Haruno to breathe.

Then Haruno's stepfather dropped Haruno on the floor and raised his arm that was holding the glass bottle.

Haruno heard glass shatter and then felt sharp pain in his head and then it started to feel like something was running onto his face from in head.

Was he bleeding?

Haruno went to touch his head and felt small pieces of glass and blood in his head.

And then his stepfather hit him again with the bottle.

Then again and again and again.

After being hit with a bottle for sometime Haruno was starting to get unconscious but before Haruno could get unconscious his stepfather grabbed him and was dragging him outside.

At that moment Haruno couldn't do anything to protect himself from his stepfather. He did try at first but it was useless at that point.

Haruno's stepfather opened the door to the backyard and threw Haruno into the sunlight. Immediately Haruno felt awful pain everywhere in his body that wasn't covered by his clothes.

Haruno was starting to cry from pain

Haruno heard his stepfather laughing from the door.

Haruno started to crawl out of the sunlight but when he made it to the door his stepfather stopped him and started to hit him with the bottle again and then he kicked Haruno back in the sunlight.

Haruno went unconscious.

Haruno woke up in the backyard and it was already dark outside. Haruno went to touch his head where he was hit with the bottle to feel that the bleeding had stopped but there were some glass shards left in his head.

Haruno got up from the ground and saw the grass in the backyard had grown taller around where he was lying down. It was a little bizarre that the grass had grown like that but Haruno didn't have the time to think about that.

He had to get back to his room.

Haruno walked to his room as quietly as he could without making his stepfather know that he was awake. His head hurted alot after getting hit with a glass bottle but luckily it didn't hurt as much as when he was getting hit with a glass bottle.

When Haruno made it to his room and went to lay on his bed he noticed all the awful scars he got on his skin after being in the sunlight. They were the worst scars he had got and it would take a long time to heal or they were going to be there forever.

Haruno had to cover the scars somehow before anyone saw them.

Haruno's first idea was to cover them with clothes but that would only work for the scars that were on his arms and legs. Haruno was thinking hard on how to cover the scars that were on his face but then he had an idea. He was going to use makeup to cover the scars on his face but the thing is that Haruno didn't own any makeup.

Haruno had to get makeup from somewhere.

Then Haruno remembered that his mother has makeup somewhere but he didn't exactly know where they were. The makeup were properly in the bathroom or in his parents bedroom.

Haruno had to go look for his mothers makeup in the bathroom first because if he went to his parents bedroom he would properly get in trouble.

Haruno went out of his room quietly to the bathroom down stairs. But there was a little problem going to the bathroom, he had to go past the living room where his stepfather spent most of his time.

Haruno walked to the entrance of the living room and saw his stepfather on the couch and his mother on the phone.

“You want to meet Haruno next week's friday?”

“I don't know what he would think about meeting family that he doesn't know”

Haruno could hear his mother speaking to someone on the phone in Japanese and it disgusted Haruno that his mother was speaking to the person like she was a loving mother who cared for her child.

And who was he meeting next week's friday?

Then his mother ended the phone call with the mysterious person that he was going to meet. Haruno was trying to be as quiet as possible and go back to his room before he could be seen.

When Haruno got to the stairs he remembered something. His mother was going to go partying today.

This was one of the only times Haruno could see where his mother kept her makeup and what she used to cover her face.

Haruno went back to the living room.

When Haruno made it near the living room he went and hid so that he wouldn't be spotted.

Haruno saw that his stepfather was getting ready to go out. Were both of his parents going out?

Haruno's mother went out of the living room and to the bathroom. Haruno quietly followed his mother to the bathroom.

Haruno went to hide in the doorway of another room that was close to the bathroom.

Haruno could see his mother washing her face and then she took her makeup from the cabinets in the bathroom.

Then she started to put on makeup.

Haruno was looking carefully at what his mother was covering her face with.

Haruno was there standing for a long time and he had found out what his mother was using.

Now he had to wait for his mother to finish her makeup and wait until she and his stepfather left.

When his mother was finished with her makeup she went back to the living room.

Haruno went to hide in his room until his mother and stepfather would leave and then go to the bathroom.

Haruno was waiting in his room for a while until his mother and stepfather left. Haruno waited a little bit longer just in case.

When Haruno went outside of his room he went straight to the bathroom as quickly as possible.

When he made it to the bathroom he started looking for the makeup. It took Haruno some time to find his mothers makeup box but he did find it. Then Haruno had to figure out which one was the makeup he was looking for.

In Haruno's opinion his mother had too much makeup and some of it looked like stuff that nobody needed.

It took some time to find the specific makeup he saw his mother using but he did find it.

Haruno started to test the makeup on how well it covers his scars without him using too much of his mother's makeup.

Surprisingly it worked really well and Haruno didn't have to worry about the scars that were on his face. The other scars on his arms and legs were easy to cover with his clothes.

Now Haruno had to wait till the day he would meet this mystery man.

 

It was now that day when Haruno will meet this mystery man that was a part of his family tree from his fathers side.

Haruno woke up that day very early so that he could go to the bathroom before his mother could. So that he could use his mother's makeup.

Haruno tried to cover the scar with makeup as fast as possible. At the end the scars weren't noticeable if you didn't know that they were there in the first place.

Some scar he had to hide them with plasters like the ones that were on his arms and legs. Haruno knew that he couldn't leave them exposed even if his shirt's sleeve was over the scar or his pants were covering the ones on his legs.

Harune could hear his mother walking in the kitchen.

Haruno had to get out the bathroom before his mother was comeing to the bathroom.

Haruno went to hide in the room that was next to the bathroom and he hoped that he would not be seen there.

Haruno waited a little bit in the room and then he heard his mother going into the bathroom. After his mother went to the bathroom he heard the door close.

Haruno slowly left the room and went to his room. Haruno was lucky that he made it to his room without being noticed.

When Haruno was in his room he decided to put on his clothes for that day.

Haruno decided to read a book in the meantime until he had to go down stairs at the time he usually does.

 

Jotaro was getting ready for the meeting he would be having with Dio's son. Jotaro was a little worried that he would be similar to his father.

And Jotaro also didn't want to deal with more evil vampires. Jotaro was sick and tired of vampire bull shit.

Jotaro was in the kitchen making breakfast for him and Jolyne and Josuke. Meanwhile Jolyne and Josuke were playing in Jolyne's room.

Jotaro was glad that Josuke was visiting Jolyne that day because Jotaro didn't trust Jolyne to be home alone. All he knows is that if Jolyne was left alone something would happen to the house or herself.

“Hey, come and eat breakfast is ready” Jotaro yelled from the kitchen.

Jolyne and Josuke came running from Jolyne's room giggling.

“What were you two doing to make you laugh like that?” Jotaro asked the two

“We were playing with my barbie's!” Jolyne said happily. “And when we were playing one of the barbie's heads came off and then we had to have a funeral for it” Jolyne said with a smile.

“And how did the head of a barbie come off?” Jotaro ask.

“We don't know how but we think a monster tore it off when we were not looking!” Josuke told convicts that it happened.

“We also named the monster as Freddy!” Jolyne said.

“Okay I will be leaving soon so eat your breakfast and when I get back I will look if I can fix your barbie” Jotaro said while he was eating.

“Where are you going?” Jolyne and Josuke asked.

“I will be meeting someone who is a part of the family tree and I think he is around the same age as you two.” Jotaro said.

“Really can we meet him too?” Jolyne asked.

“Yeah, can we meet him please?” Josuke asked.

“Well I don't know yet if you guys can. I don't know anything about him and that's why I have to see him. And if he is a good person he could meet you two.” Jotaro said.

After Jotaro, Jolyne and Josuke were done eating Jotaro left to go and meet Haruno.

 

Haruno was walking with his mother to the meeting place. It was hard to walk with his mother because she was walking faster then Haruna and she held on to Haruno's hand at the same time.

It was difficult for Haruno to keep his yellow umbrella to cover him from the sun.

When they made it to the meeting place it looked like a weird place to meet someone.

When they walked inside Haruno saw a very tall man that looked a little bit scary to a little child.

The very tall greeted Haruno and his mother.

At first it was his mother and the very tall man were in a separate room talking and Haruno was sitting on a random chair in the building.

After some time Haruno was called to the room. When Haruno made it inside the room his mother left the room and now it was only him and the tall man.

Then the man started speaking.

“My name is Jotaro Kujo and it is nice to meet you and your name was Haruno.”

Haruno didn't want to talk to this Jotaro guy so he just nodded.

Haruno could tell that this Jotaro guy was talking to him in a way he does not normally. But Haruno could sense that he was a good person.

“I wanted to speak to you because of your biological father.“

Haruno was surprised that he would get to hear about his father.

“Haruno, could you tell me what you know about your father?” Jotaro said.

“W-well I-i don't know that much. I-i only know that he was a v-vampire a-and because of him I-i am also a vampire.“ After Haruno said that he regretted it.

“B-but I think I am not fully a v-vampire!” Haruno said as quickly as he could.

“So you know that your father is a vampire and what do you mean by about you not being fully a vampire?” Jotaro asked and he started sounding more fake to Haruno.

“W-well I-i haven't drank any blood and I don't immediately start dying i-in the sunlight.”

“The vampire things are like that to you because only your father was a vampire and your mother isn't. But I wanted to tell you that your fathers name was Dio Brando and he died in 1985”

Haruno kinda had a feeling that his father was dead so it didn't surprise him.

“And I also wanted to meet you because I think that you should know about your fathers side of the family.” Jotaro said.

 

Jotaro was heating every second he was talking in this very nice and happy way to the son of a vampire that almost killed his mother. But for some reason the kid didn't seem like his bitch of a father.

Jotaro also noticed something odd about the kid but he couldn't think what it was. But for now he was trusting that the kid was different from Dio.

The kid would properly get along with Jolyne and Josuke. Well Josuke and Jolyne wanted to meet him and Jotaro didn't want to deal with Jolyne and Josuke being disappointed.

“Haruno if anything happens that is about you being a vampire like you having to drink blood tell me.”

After the meeting ended Jotaro gave Haruno a piece of paper with his number to call him if any vampire stuff happened.

Jotaro decided to give his number to Haruno because there was something off with his mother. Jotaro didn't know what was off with Haruno's mother but it was something or Jotaro was just paranoid.

 

Haruno was surprised that Jotaro gave him a number to call if any vampire stuff happened. Haruno thought that Jotaro would give it to his mother.

But why him?

Did Jotaro realize that his mother was not nice?

Did he say something wrong when he was talking to Jotaro?

After getting the piece of paper with the number he hid it in his sleeve. Haruno can't lose it. It was Haruno's only hope of getting out of the house he was living in.

Now Haruno had to get to know more of his family and escape. Haruno has to work hard to gain the trust of his fathers side of the family.

Chapter Text

Jotaro was sitting at the kitchen table reading his newspaper and drinking his coffee.

Then Jolyne and Josuke ran into the room.

“Hey dad, when can we meet the person you went to meet last week?” Jolyne asked.

“Why do you two want to meet him so much?”

“Because it has been boring when it has been just us playing with each other!" Josuke said.

“Yeah we want to do something with someone we don't know already” Jolyne said.

“He doesn't even know your two's existence, and he lives far away from where we live and where Josuke lives.” Jotaro lied about him living far away. It took at least like 40 minutes to get to Haruno's house.

“Please!” Jolyne and Josuke said with puppy dog eyes.

“Fine, I'll see what I can do, but I am not promising that you two are going to meet him” Jotaro said in defeat.

After that Jolyne and Josuke ran to Jolyne's room in victory and Jotaro could hear them saying ‘Yes’.

Jotaro decided to make the phone call to Haruno's mother later.

 

Haruno was in his room drawing frogs and ladybugs. It was a normal day for Haruno, well the normal being ignored by his mother, beaten up by his stepfather and bullied by the kids at school.

Then his mother called him downstairs.

Haruno went downstairs quietly. Haruno made his way over to where his mother was, then he was in the living room.

“When I fucking call you to downstairs you come immedly and not as slow as a fucking useless snail.” his mother yelled.

“Sorry mama, I will come faster next time, I will not make that mistake again.”

“I am not going to waste anymore of my fucking time but that Jotaro guy called and wanted you to meet some other people. They are the same age as you or something and you are meeting them tomorrow morning.”

“Okey” Haruno was about to leave until his mother grabbed his arm.

“And make sure you don't fucking look like you were in the fucking streets your whole life, do you understand.”

“Y-yes mama.”

“Good, now go back to your room.”

When Haruno got to his room he went to lay down on his bed.

 

Jotaro was in the living room watching some show called salatut elämät, it was kinda interesting to watch since he had to read subtitles while watching and couldn't tell what language the people in the show were speaking.

Then Josuke ran inside the house to where Jotaro was.

“Jotaro! Jolyne got stuck, could you come help her!”

Oh good fucking grief, what had Jolyne done now.

“Yeah I'm comeing, just a second.”

Jotaro went outside and saw Josuke next to the tree in the backyard, Jotaro walked over to the tree.

“Where is Jolyne?” When Jotaro asked, Josuke pointed up to the tree.

When he looked up he could see Jolyne at the fucking top of the tree.

“Jolyne, why are you in the tree!?”

“I accidently kicked a ball into this tree and then I climbed up to get it back, and now I can't get down” Jolyne shouted from the tree.

“Jolyne don't move, I am going to get the ladders so you can get down.”

When Jotaro came back with the ladders he had to make sure she could go on the ladder.

It took Jolyne some time to get on the ladders when Jotaro put them against the tree, but Jolyne got down safely.

“Jolyne, don't climb up trees any more or you will get hurt some day.” Jotaro said as gently he could.

“Yes dad I won't climb up trees” Jolyne said in a sad voice.

“Josuke, your mom is comeing very soon to come pick you up, so before you have to go I have some news for you two. You two are meeting Haruno tomorrow, the person you two have been wanting to meet.”

Josuke and Jolyne started to celebrate that they are finally meeting Haruno.

Then they heard a car pull up in the driveway.

“Josuke, I think it is time for you to go home.”

Jolyne, Josuke and Jotaro walked to the driveway, and before Josuke left with his mother Jotaro told her about Jolyne and Josuke meeting Haruno.

 

It was the next day and Haruno was inside his mother's car and he was scared of meeting more people. He was scared that he would get bullied by the people he would meet, Haruno just wanted to stay home and be in his room.

Then the car stopped and his mother got outside of the car, then he followed her outside of the car.

His mother was walking ahead of him and she was telling Haruno to ‘hurry up’ and ‘walk faster’ Haruno was trying to go faster but he couldn't go faster.

Then his mother stopped.

“You are going to go there yourself I am leaving” his mother said and gave him a piece of paper.

On the piece of paper was a street name and a number.

When Haruno looked up from the paper his mother was gone, now Haruno was alone.

Haruno was starting to get scared, he didn't know where he was, he only knew he was somewhere in Morioh.

Haruno had only one option and that was to go ask someone if they knew where that street was.

Haruno went and asked a couple of people, and luckily one of them knew where the street was and they showed him the way there. After getting to the right street Haruno started to find the right house.

The number of the house was 2080, Haruno thought it was a little bit bizarre that there were so many houses on that street.

After Haruno had walked past many houses he found the one he was looking for. When he was in front of the front door he was scared to ring the doorbell.

After Haruno stood there for a while he finally rang the doorbell, he waited for a little bit then he heard someone opening the door.

The person that opened the door was a woman that Haruno guessed to be late twenties or early thirties.

“Who are you little kid?” she asked.

“My name is H-haruno” Haruno was scared that he was at the wrong house, he was hoping this was the right one out of the many houses on the street.

“Haruno did come all the way here by yourself?” she asked in concern.

“No, my mother dropped me off across the street and left because she had somewhere to go” He lied, knowing full well his mother left him far away from the house.

“Oh okey, I thought I would have a conversation with her when you arrived, but I guess I am not having one. Come inside Haruno it is going to rain, but you seem prepared for the rain with your umbrella.”

When Haruno got inside the house he took off his shoes and put his umbrella leaning against the wall.

Then the woman that led him inside turned around.

“Hey, Josuke and Jolyne he is here”

Right after she said that Haruno heard someone or some people running where he was standing. Then before he could prepare for what would happen he was pulled by someone to somewhere else.

At that moment Haruno was running, because if he didn't he would fall and make the person pulling him fall down too. And then noticed there were two people in front of him.

After running for a little bit he was pulled into a room.

A bedroom?

The two people in the room with him closed the door and turned around to face him, then they started asking him a lot of questions really fast.

Haruno couldn't keep up with the questions and didn't have time to answer them, then the two people slowed down and started asking questions slower.

After being asked questions like what is your name, how old are you and other questions like that, and at the same time Haruno got to know the two people.

The two people in front of him were Jolyne and Josuke, the women who let him inside called. The two seemed very excited but why were they excited?

Haruno thought that Josuke had a weird hair style, but Haruno didn't comment on it. It did remind him of some gangster that he had seen before he and his mother moved.

After some time had passed he and Jolyne and Josuke started playing with stuffed animals.

There were many stuffed animals to choose. Jolyne chose a cat stuffed animal, Josuke chose a unicorn stuffed animal and Haruno chose a frog stuffed animal.

There were other stuffed animals, but just for now they were playing with those three stuffed animals.

Some time had passed and their stuffed animal play somehow turned into a court case.

“According to the witness of this murder case it makes you Mr sparkle princes the murderer suspect” Jolyne said in a bad British accent.

“I swear that I didn't do anything!” Josuke said.

“What do you have to say about this mygga eater the fifth?” Jolyne said.

Haruno didn't know what to say, he isn't that good at speaking English but he did know how to have a conversation in English.

He was lucky that Josuke knew Japanese and that Josuke could help him.

“He is lying, I see him do it” Haruno said. He wasn't sure if he said it correctly, but at least he tried his best.

“The evidence of you killing mr drunk bulbasaur is overwhelming, I am sentencing you to be in a cellar with hungry rats” Jolyne said

“No! You can't do this to me, mrs kanelsnigel!” Josuke shouted.

Haruno flinched a little bit when Josuke shouted, but it seemed like neither Jolyne or Josuke noticed.

 

Josuke was having a fun time playing with Jolyne and Haruno. He did notice that Haruno wasn't the best in English, but he would help him if he didn't understand something.

Josuke thought there was something odd about Haruno, but he couldn't figure it out. Maybe it was that he was really pale or the vibe, but Josuke didn't care if there was something at least Haruno was nice.

“Hey kids, foods ready come eat before it gets cold!” Josuke's mom shouted from the kitchen.

Jolyne and Josuke quickly ran out of the room leaving Haruno walking behind them. The food that was at the table smelled very good, so good that Josuke was already eating his own food.

When Jolyne and Haruno got to the table to eat Josuke was almost finished with his food.

While Josuke was eating he noticed that Haruno was hesitant to eat his food, Josuke thought it was odd that Haruno was hesitating to eat the food. Josuke just noticed that Haruno was a little bit skinnier than most people his age, maybe Haruno didn't eat enough at home.

Josuke said to Haruno in Japanese that he should try the food and it was very tasty.

After the three of them finished eating their food they decided to go play outside.

 

Haruno was hesitating to eat his food because he thought he didn't deserve it. Why would they go out of their way to make him food?

Josuke and Jolyne decided to go play outside.

“Josuke I-i am going to go get something, I-i will be there in a second.” Haruno said quietly to Josuke in Japanese.

Josuke nodded and ran outside.

Haruno went to get his umbrella from the wall it was leaning on. When Haruno got to the backyard Jolyne and Josuke were playing around with a ball.

When Haruno got close to them they noticed Haruno with his umbrella.

“Haruno, why do you have an umbrella when it isn't raining?” Jolyne tilted her head.

“I uh.” Haruno didn't know what to say to Jolyne's question.

“I-I am allergic to sunlight.” It was the best lie Haruno could think of but it wasn't really far from the truth.

“People can be allergic to the sun” Josuke said in shock.

After the whole being allergic to the sun thing Haruno joined Jolyne and Josuke in passing the ball to each other.

They were having fun until Jolyne passed the ball to Josuke. It missed and went through a branch of a bush and it broke.

When Josuke went over to the ball Haruno thought that Josuke would start yelling angrily at Jolyne, but instead a shadow person was behind Josuke and then it disappeared. Haruno didn't really see what was behind Josuke but it looked like a pink and light blue blur.

Josuke came back with the ball in his hand and it wasn't broken. Haruno swears that the ball was broken but it was right in front of him not broken.

What is going on here?

Haruno decided to not question what happened, and continued playing with Jolyne and Josuke until his mother came back.

After that day Haruno went to go play with Jolyne and Josuke every week.

 

Months had passed from the day Haruno met Jolyne and Josuke. It was a nice sunny day and they were at a park under a tree.

Haruno and Jolyne were drawing and Josuke was telling them stories and what had happened in his school. They were having a great time, Haruno was drawing frogs, ladybugs and other animals and bugs he knew how to draw. Jolyne was drawing princesses, mermaids and butterflies.

Then they heard the music that the ice cream truck played. Jolyne and Josuke went to get ice cream from the truck to all three of them, and left Haruno at the tree.

Josuke and Jolyne promised to Haruno that they would be quick.

Haruno was drawing and waiting patiently for Josuke and Jolyne to return with ice cream.

Then Haruno saw three people walk towards him, when Haruno looked up he saw his bullies from school.

Why were they here?

“Oh look, it is the little vampire all alone.” one of the bullies said.

Then the other two bullies crapped Haruno from his arms.

“It would be shameful that the vampire would get burned by the sun“ the bully said.

Then the bullies holding Haruno pulled him to the sun.

Then Haruno started to feel pain all around his body, he made the mistake of wearing a T-shirt and shorts.

It burned.

It burned a lot.

Burn scars were forming in his skin.

Haruno was wishing for Jolyne and Josuke to get back.

It was like someone heard his wish of Jolyne and Josuke comeing back. The two were running to the tree and yelling at the bullies.

“Shit, the vampire has friends! Lets get out of here quickly!” one of the bullies holding Haruno yelled.

Haruno was shaking on the ground fighting back tears.

Jolyne and Josuke came to help Haruno out of the sunlight and back to the shade of the tree.

“Who were those guys Haruno, and why did they call you a vampire?” Josuke asked.

Haruno almost starts to cry from the pain and the fear of Jolyne and Josuke finding out his secret.

“B-because I-” Haruno didn't know how to answer Josuke's question, he didn't know if he should tell the truth or lie.

“B-because I am a vampire” Harno decided to tell the truth.

“Thats”

“That's so freaking cool Haruno!” Jolyne said excitedly.

Haruno was surprised by the reaction.

How was him being a vampire cool?

“It is?” Haruno said.

“Yes it is! You can do cool stuff that nobody else can do” Josuke said.

“Wait, is that why you always have your umbrella with you?” Jolyne asked.

“Yes. It helps me hide from the sun when I am inside” Haruno said.

“Haruno, I think you mean outside, like we are outside right now” Josuke said.

“Yeah my mistake I mix those two words up” Haruno said.

“Let's go back to Jolyne's house and see what you can do” Josuke said.

The three of them gathered their things and left to go to Jolyne's house.

At the house they went to Jolyne's room and started testing what vampire things Haruno could do.

“I remember reading a story where a vampire could walk on walls and on the ceiling, let's see if Haruno you could do that” Jolyne said.

Haruno was scared to try to walk on the wall and ceiling, but Josuke promised to catch Haruno if he fell.

Haruno closed his eyes and tried walking on the wall.

“HARUNO YOU ARE DOING IT!” Josuke yelled very loudly.

Haruno opened his eyes and he was standing on the wall.

“Haruno try walking on the ceiling!” Jolyne said.

“Are you sure I could fall down” Haruno said.

“Haruno don't worry I will catch you” Josuke said.

Haruno started walking slowly up the wall to the ceiling. When he made it up to the ceiling he wasn't falling to the ground.

“Haruno this is so cool!” Josuke shouted.

“Yeah but how do I get down?” Haruno ask.

“I think you would have to walk back on the wall and from the wall to the ground” Jolyne said.

“Or you could jump down” Josuke suggested.

Haruno was about to answer Josuke but then the door opened to Jolyne's bedroom.

“Why are you guys shouting so much? I am trying to watch the news” Jotaro came into the room and saw Haruno falling on top of Josuke.

“Are you two alright? Because it doesn't seem like it” Jotaro said.

“We are fine mr Jotaro” Josuke said.

“Okay… well I will be going to go back watching the news” Jotaro said and left the room and closed the door behind him.

After Jotaro left Haruno, Jolyne and Josuke continued having fun, but Haruno had to leave shortly after.

Chapter Text

It has been two years since Josuke and Jolyne met Haruno.

Both Jolyne and Josuke noticed something odd about Haruno. Haruno never talked about his parents and when Jolyne and Josuke asked he would change the topic.

Jolyne and Josuke had to find out why Haruno didn't want them to know anything about his parents.

 

Haruno was at the makeup store, he was looking for the makeup he used to cover his face. It was very hard to find the one he was looking for since there were so many different makeup products.

After walking around the store Haruno found what he was looking for, when Haruno looked at the price tag he realized it was expensive.

Haruno didn't have the money for it.

Haruno only had three options, one he looks for a cheaper one, two he has to get more money and three he has to steal it.

Haruno didn't want to steal from the store because he would likely get caught.

The first option was the best one at the moment, so Haruno started walking around the store again.

Haruno had gone through the whole store again and didn't find what he was looking for. Then one of the workers came over to where Haruno was.

“Hey little one do you need any help?”

“I uh” Haruno said and looked for the makeup that was too expensive for him.

“Is there a cheaper one?” Haruno asks while holding the makeup in his hand and showing it to the worker.

“Yes we do, I can show you where it is” the worker said.

The worker brought Haruno to the cheaper makeup stuff.

“Wait for a moment little one I got to find it from the shelf” The Worker said while looking through the shelf.

“Aha found it. Here you go little one” The worker handed the makeup over to Haruno.

“Thank you” Haruno said while looking at the price, it was cheap enough for Haruno.

“Are you buying it for your mother?” The worker asked.

“Yes, I am buying it for my mother” Haruno said to the worker. Haruno knew fully well that if he bought anything for his mother she would just throw it into the trash.

Haruno went to purchase the makeup and after that he went home.

When Haruno made it to the house he opened the door and smelt a lot of alcohol from inside.

His stepfather had been drinking again.

Haruno took off his shoes and started walking up the wall to the ceiling. Haruno had been doing this ever since he found out he could walk on walls and ceilings. It was very useful for getting to his room without making his stepfather know he was home.

When Haruno was in his room he took out the makeup he bought and started to test how good it was. Haruno was using a stolen mirror and his mother's makeup sponge.

Haruno had stolen the mirror from the lost and found from his school, it had been there for weeks and Haruno saw it every day in school.

Haruno took it because if the owner wanted it back it would not be there, it was the school's fault for having the lost items out in the open. Haruno took the makeup sponge from his mother because she had a lot of them and she wouldn't notice it was gone.

While Haruno was testing the makeup he noticed his reflection was a little bit transparent. When Haruno took a closer look at his reflection he saw the wall behind him where he was sitting in his room.

How has he never noticed that his reflection was almost transparent?

After Haruno noticed his reflection was transparent it became harder for Haruno to see where he should put the makeup on his face. Somehow Haruno had put the makeup on perfectly, the makeup Haruno used was better than the one his mother used in Haruno's opinion.

Haruno has started to like to use makeup the more he uses it, maybe he should try other makeup when he is home alone.

In a few days he was going to go to a sleepover at Jolyne's house with Josuke. Haruno is very excited to go to Jolyne's. He wants to escape his mother's and stepfather's house.

 

It is the day of the sleepover and Haruno is going back home from school as quickly as he could.

He is going back home way faster than he usually does, usually he goes slower to avoid his stepfather.

Before Haruno went to school he packed everything he would be needing, some clothes, his toothbrush and toothpaste and his makeup.

When Haruno got to the house there was nobody there.

Haruno went to look in every room in the house and he didn't find his mother or his stepfather. Haruno went to the kitchen to get a glass of water when he noticed a note on the table.

“Haruno you will be going to go to your little sleepover yourself, there is enough money on the table for a bus ride” Haruno recognized the handwriting to be his mother's, it wasn't the first time he would go to Jolyne's or Josuke's house by himself.

Haruno took the money and went to get his stuff from his room.

When Haruno had everything he needed he went to the bus stop and wait for the bus he needed to get on.

It took some time for the bus to get to the bus stop, apparently the bus had almost crashed into a traffic signal.

Haruno got on the bus.

Haruno didn't think about what had happened, he started to mostly focus on when he needed to get off the bus. It would take some time for the bus to get to Jolyne's.

After the long bus ride Haruno made it to the bus stop where he would start walking to Jolyne's house. It was a rainy day and Haruno was walking on the sidewalk without seeing anybody, it made Haruno feel a little bit more safe.

The last thing Haruno wanted was someone jumping from somewhere and robbing him.

Haruno had been walking for some time when he finally started to see the street where Jolyne's house was.

When Haruno got to the door he closed his umbrella and knocked on the door.

The door opened and Haruno was pulled inside by Jolyne and Josuke.

“Haruno you made it!” Jolyne said happily.

“Jolyne and I thought that you couldn't make it because it took you a long time to get here” Josuke said.

“I came by bus, it took a while for the bus to come to the bus stop” Haruno said.

“Why did you come by bus Haruno?” Josuke asked.

“B-because my parents were very busy, and I can come here by myself“ Haruno said.

The three of them talked about what they would be doing during the sleepover, they decided to play board games and when the rain would stop they would go outside.

The three went to Jolyne's room and there were two mattresses on the floor, one of the two mattresses had Josuke's stuff on it.

Haruno went to put his stuff on the other mattress.

Jolyne left the room to get all of the board games she had. When Jolyne got back she had a huge pile of board games, and it looked like she was about to drop all of them on the floor.

Josuke and Haruno helped Jolyne to put the board games on the floor and there were a lot of board games.

After like ten minutes of deciding what they would play first they chose uno.

It was a mistake to play uno.

“JOLYNE WHY DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP MAKING ME GET MORE CARDS, I ALREADY HAVE TWENTY CARDS IN MY HAND!” Josuke shouted loudly.

"BECAUSE YOUR TURN IS AFTER MY TURN, HOW STUPID DO YOU HAVE TO BE!" Jolyne shouted back.

While Jolyne and Josuke were fighting over uno Haruno was sitting there with only three cards left. Josuke has twenty three cards right now and Jolyne has nineteen cards.

Haruno had two yellow fours and one yellow six.

When it was Haruno's turn he put down his two yellow fours and said uno.

Just then Josuke and Jolyne realize that Haruno was about to win the game.

“Haruno, when did you go down to one card?”Jolyne asked.

“When you two were fighting about your own cards” Haruno said.

“This is so embarrassing, how did I not notice it before?” Josuke said.

Haruno ended up winning the game of uno and Jolyne came second.

After the game of uno the rain had not stopped the three of them got bored.

Then Jolyne had an idea and then she went to her shelf that had a lot of DVDs, she went through a couple of DVDs and took one out.

“We are going to watch Barbie and the twelve dancing princesses” Jolyne said to Haruno and Josuke.

Jolyne had a small tv in her room where she watched all of her DVDs.

It took some time for the movie to start, they had to watch the ads the DVD had.

When the movie started Haruno liked the start of the movie when there were silhouettes of the princesses dancing. In Haruno's opinion it looked very pretty.

They were enjoying the movie. Jolyne, Josuke and Haruno had the same opinion that the parrot in the movie was funny.

When the movie ended the rain hadn't stopped, is it going to rain the rest of the day?

Jolyne went back to her DVDs, she was going to choose another barbie movie.

Jolyne came back with two movies in her hand.

“Do you guys want to watch Barbie a fairy secret or Barbie the pearl princesses?” Jolyne asked Haruno and Josuke.

“I would like to watch the one with the fairies” Haruno said while pointing at the DVD in Jolyne's hand.

“I don't care which one we watch” Josuke said and went to get the last movies DVD from the DVD player thing.

Josuke took the last movies DVD and gave it to Jolyne and Jolyne gave Josuke the next movies DVD.

They watch the fairy barbie movie and after that the pearl princess movie.

When they were finished with both movies it was getting late and they had to go to bed.

The three of them were brushing their teeth.

“Hey guys, I am not sleepy at all” Josuke said while having his toothbrush in his mouth.

“Can we do something before going to bed?” He asked after he had spat his toothpaste and water out of his mouth.

“I have an amazing idea on what we can do” Jolyne said happily.

“Awesome! What are we going to do Jolyne?” Josuke asked.

“Not telling you yet” Jolyne said with a smirk.

From the looks of it Josuke did not like Jolyne's answer.

When they were finished brushing their teeth they went back to Jolyne's room and Jolyne took a piece of paper and a marker. Jolyne started to write letters, numbers and yes, no and good bye.

What is Jolyne planning?

Jolyne left the room to get something and came back with a shot glass?

What is going on.

“Jolyne, what the hell are we doing?” Josuke asked in confusion.

“We are playing a spiritualism game!” Jolyne said excitedly.

“No, I am not playing” Josuke said and went to one of the corners in Jolyne's room.

“Do bad, one of the rules of the game is that everyone in the room has to be a part of the game” Jolyne said.

Josuke accepted defeat and joined Jolyne and Haruno.

“Before we start I am going to tell you the rules of the game. Everyone in the room has to play the game, you put one of your finger from both hands on top of the shot glass, you can not take your finger from on top of the shot glass, one person asks the question, when we want to end the game we put the shot glass on the good bye part, and don't ask anything about death or joke around” Jolyne said.

Haruno doesn't really believe in spirits, gods, ghosts or demons but he was a little fearful.

Out of the three of them Jolyne was the one to ask the questions.

“Is everyone ready?” Jolyne asked.

Josuke and Haruno nodded.

“Is there anyone here?” Jolyne asked and the shot glass moved to ‘yes’.

When the shot glass moved Josuke started to over react a little bit.

“Josuke can calm down” Haruno said to Josuke in Japanese.

After Josuke's little over reaction Jolyne continued.

“What is your name?” Jolyne asked next.

“P A U L A” The ‘ghost’ said

“What do we ask next?” Jolyne asked.

“Maybe their age?” Haruno said.

“Alright, how old are you Paula?” Jolyne asked Paula.

“1 2 6 7” said Paula.

“Damn she is old” Josuke said.

“Josuke, don't say that the ghost will get angry at you” Jolyne said.

“No she isn't going to be!” Josuke said loudly.

“Paula, are you angry at Josuke?” Jolyne asked.

“Jolyne! Why did you have to ask that!”Josuke shouted.

The shot glass moved to ‘yes’.

When the shot glass moved Haruno saw a silhouette in the corner of the room. When looked a little bit longer there was nothing.

“See I told you” Jolyne said.

“Can we ask who is the prettiest?" Haruno asked Jolyne.

“That's a good question to ask Haruno” Josuke said.

“Josuke, I think Paula is not going to say that it's you in a million years” Jolyne said.

“Oh shut up Jolyne” When Josuke said that Jolyne looked at Josuke like she was going to shave off his hair.

“Who is the prettiest in this room?” Jolyne asked Paula.

“P a u l a” Paula said quickly.

Haruno noticed that after Paula had answered Josuke and Jolyne looked disappointed in the answer.

“Who is the prettiest out of us in the room and you can't say yourself.” Jolyne said in a serious tone to Paula.

“J o t a r o” said Paula.

“He isn't even in the same room with us!” Josuke yelled at Paula.

“I am not doing this anymore, Jolyne lets end the game” Josuke said angrily.

“Fine!” Jolyne said.

They ended the game by sliding the shot glass to the “good bye”.

They went to bed after that.

Haruno had a hard time falling asleep because of the silhouette he saw in the corner of the room.

It is morning and Haruno woke up first and saw that both Jolyne and Josuke were still sleeping. Haruno also noticed that someone had drawn a mustache and circles on Josuke's face.

Haruno thought it was a funny thing to see.

Haruno decided to go back to sleep and wake up when Josuke and Jolyne were not sleeping anymore. Haruno tried to go back to sleep but he couldn't.

Haruno gave up on sleeping and started to think about stuff to pass the time.

Haruno thought about how much of a fun time he had, even if he had not spoken that much but it was normal for Josuke and Jolyne to talk more.

He liked that Jolyne and Josuke didn't force him to talk like the teachers and other people did, also they didn't make fun of him for being quiet.

He didn't want to go back home. Back at home everything was dark and cold but with Jolyne and Josuke it was warm and bright.

Jolyne, Josuke, Jotaro and other people that are from his father's side of the family are more like family than his mother and stepfather will ever be.

He felt safe when he was with Jolyne and Josuke.

Haruno heard someone walking in the room.

Haruno went to take a peek to find out who it was.

It was Josuke? Haruno was surprised that Josuke was up this early. Usually, Josuke is the last to wake up.

Haruno saw Josuke going out of Jolyne's room. He heard the sink turn on in the kitchen, after a few minutes Josuke returned and went back to sleep.

Haruno looked at what time it was, the princess themed clock on the wall was 5.12 am.

Nobody will be awake at least until 8 am.

Haruno went back to sleep, it took some time for Haruno to fall asleep but at least he is asleep.

Chapter Text

It was 7.23 am and Haruno woke up again.

He was thirsty and hungry.

He decided to get a glass of water.

Haruno exited Jolyne's room and walked to the kitchen. He got a stool to reach the cabinet where all the mugs and glasses were. When Haruno got a glass he went to the sink and poured himself a glass of water.

It was quiet.

Haruno was surprised that nobody was awake. He finished drinking his glass of water and went back to Jolyne's room.

When he was in Jolyne's room Haruno saw that Jolyne and Josuke were still asleep. Haruno was thinking about waking them up but they wouldn't properly like it when someone wakes them up.

Haruno went to sit on the mattress and took out a book he had borrowed from the library.

Haruno liked the library, there he got to be alone and nobody disturbed him. His bullies do not go to the library because they think it is a place for nerds, so they stay far away from there. Haruno started to go to the library when he didn't know Italian that well, the books in the library helped him learn Italian more than the teacher in his school.

Sometimes some of the libraries helped him understand words and helped him find books in Japanese.

The library is one of the places he goes to after school to avoid his parents, he usually stays long enough that there is nobody in the house.

The books Haruno usually read were about animals, bugs and other books about nature and animals. From all the books about those topics Haruno has learned most of the information he knows about nature and animals. Sometimes Haruno reads other books like fairytales and other fantasy books, when he finds one that is interesting.

Haruno was reading quietly in the room.

After sometime it is 8.57 am and Josuke woke up.

“Good morning Haruno” Josuke said in Japanese, and in the most tired voice ever.

Haruno looked where Josuke was and noticed that Josuke looked weird without his hair style that Josuke would spend at least an hour doing every morning.

“Good morning” Haruno said back in Japanese. Haruno liked that he was able to speak to Josuke in Japanese because his English still wasn't perfect but he was working on that. It helped that he had to speak in English with Jolyne and it was good practice. Sometimes Jolyne and Josuke would correct him when he said a word wrong or if he mixed up words.

Josuke had left the room to go do his hair.

Haruno continued to read his book, but then he heard the most girliest scream from the bathroom. It reminded Haruno of the scream that princesses do in princess movies and of a little girl's scream. Then he heard someone running towards Jolyne's room.

Haruno knew that it was Josuke.

 

Josuke ran inside the room and woke Jolyne up.

When Josuke came into the room Haruno noticed drawings on Josuke's face, there was a circle around Josuke's eye and he also had a mustache.

“What happened to my face?!” Josuke's yelling woke up Jolyne.

“Josuke, why are you yelling, some people want to sleep” Jolyne said as she turned to see Josuke. When Jolyne saw Josuke's face she started to laugh and started pointing at Josuke's face.

“What have you done to your face” Jolyne was on the floor giggling at this point.

“I did nothing damn it, it was you who did this!” Josuke started chasing Jolyne around the room.

“Why are you blaming me, it could have been anybody else” Jolyne said.

“Because YOU are the only one that would do this”

“How do you know it was me and it wasn't someone else” Jolyne was getting tired of running at this point.

“Who else would do this then?” Josuke stopped chasing Jolyne.

“I don't know, maybe it was Paula or something” Jolyne knew that if it actually was Paula Josuke would lose his mind and be paranoid for the rest of his life.

“There is no way that that stupid ghost did this, the ghost is bead she can't do shit when she's not alive!” Josuke was scared out of his mind if that ghost did this.

A few seconds after when Josuke said that one of the DVDs fell from the shelf where all the DVDs are. Also the DVD that fell was the fucking Disneys Peter pan DVD.

When the DVD fell Josuke jumped from fear and screamed in his little girl's scream. Haruno also saw the shadow he saw last night next to the self at the same time when the DVD fell.

When Haruno looked to where Josuke was to see if he was okey.

There was a pink and light blue blur behind Josuke. Haruno has seen it a few times and has asked Josuke about it but Josuke would say that he was just seeing things.

The weird pink and light blue blur disappeared and Josuke ran out of the room as fast as Haruno had ever seen.

“Uh, is he going to be okay?” Haruno was a little bit worried if Josuke would be okay after what had happened.

“Maybe, or maybe not” Jolyne was leaving the room to go look for Josuke.

Haruno follows Jolyne out of the room to find Josuke. When they find Josuke, they found him in the bathroom trying to get the drawings off of his face.

Most of the drawings were gone at this point.

Jolyne and Haruno waited for Josuke for a little and the three of them went to the kitchen to eat something.

They decided to eat cereal, when all three had their own bowl of cereal they went to the living room to watch cartoons.

The cartoons they watched were Code lyoko, Moomin valley, Winx and Lolirock.

Out of the four Haruno liked Moomin valley the most. It was properly because the world of the Moomin valley was very peaceful and all the characters were loved by somebody, like moominmama took care of her own child moomintroll and also little my, snorkmaiden and sniff even if they were not her children.

Haruno was a little bit envious of the characters from Moomins. Who wouldn't be when the characters live in a safe and understanding world.

Haruno hated what his home life was, he wishes he didn't have to go back to the place he should call home.

That place is not close to what home should be.

Haruno is clad that he can escape that place when he is with Jolyne and Josuke.

Jolyne and Josuke make him feel safe.

Jolyne and Josuke can't figure out what Haruno's home life is like.

If they find out, would they start treating Haruno the same way like everyone else?

Haruno doesn't want to know the answer to that.

 

When the three had finished eating they went to put their dishes in the dishwasher.

They went outside to play, luckily it wasn't sunny and Haruno could mostly be outside without his umbrella since there were more shadowy places.

The three had a fun time playing outside.

They had to go back inside since it was getting a little bit late and Haruno and Josuke needed to get home.

Haruno left first since he was getting back home by bus.

Jolyne and Josuke walked with Haruno to the bus stop and waited with him until his bus came. When the bus came Jolyne and Josuke said their goodbyes to Haruno and left to go back to Jolyne's house.

“Do you ever think what Haruno's home is like or what the place he lives in is like?” Josuke asked Jolyne as they were walking.

“Kinda, he had never told us anything and when we ask he just pretends like we didn't ask him about it” Jolyne said while kicking a rock at the same time.

“Is his life at home bad?” Josuke was getting worried if Haruno didn't have a safe place to call home.

“Or he can be embarrassed about his home” Jolyne didn't like either of the reasons why Haruno doesn't talk about his home.

“Should we ask him about it?” Jolyne continued.

“He would properly deny it” After Josuke said that they got quiet.

Until Josuke had an idea.

“What if we go see for ourselves” Josuke stopped walking and looked at Jolyne.

“Are you saying that we should follow Haruno home? I don't know about you but that sounds creepy” Jolyne was not a fan of Josuke's idea.

“I didn't mean it like that! I meant that we find out where he lives and just take a look inside the house and see what happens” Josuke was very sure that his plane was the best lan ever.

“That's still very creepy, somebody will see us and call the police on us” Jolyne is trying her best to make Josuke to give up on his plan.

“We have no other choice, we have to do this or we have to think about it forever” Josuke's determination to get Jolyne to go along with his plan.

Jolyne didn't know what to do, does she agree with Josuke's plan or make Josuke to not do his plan.

“Fine, I will help you but if we get caught you will take the blame for it” Jolyne fully gave up on changing Josuke's mind.

“Yippee” Josuke was jumping in joy.

“Hey Josuke”

“What is it Jolyne?”

“How do we find where Haruno lives?” Jolyne was now getting to see how badly Josuke had planned this plan.

“I know the area where he lives we could just ask some of the people that live there where he lives”

“That would look very suspicious to everyone else" Jolyne was regretting her choice, wait how does Josuke know the area where Haruno lives?

“We can just lie, we could just say we were returning something to him”

“Should we carry something with us so it’s more believable?”

“Yeah, I could take one of my jackets with me”

“Josuke, you and Haruno wear different sizes of jackets”

“I can bring one of my old ones that doesn't fit me anymore”

“Make sure you pick the close to the size that Haruno wears”

“I will, how stupid do you think I am Jolyne”

“Very stupid”

Jolyne and Josuke think more about their plan when they get back to Jolyne's house before Josuke has to go home. They decided to put this plan into action two weeks later.

 

Two weeks later

 

Haruno was home alone.

Haruno has been testing other makeup products. Haruno wasn't that sure if he was using the makeup products correctly since he only has some of the information he found in the library's computer. Haruno had spent a couple of times in the library looking up how to use makeup on the computer and writing it down. He also had to draw pictures of how it's done.

Haruno was getting the makeup off of his face when he heard his parents getting back home.

Haruno quickly locked the bathroom door and started to remove the makeup off faster. Luckily it didn't take that long since most of the makeup was gone but he had to clean the makeup to where they belong.

Haruno was moving quickly putting the makeup back and putting paper towels over the trash, those were the things he used to remove the makeup.

He ran out of the bathroom to his room as fast as he could.

Until he felt something take hold of his arms.

It was his stepfather.

 

“Josuke, are you sure we are in the right place” Jolyne turned to ask Josuke.

“Jolyne, I am 100% sure we are in the correct place”

“How do you know if you're actually not correct, we can be just wasting our time” Jolyne was not trusting that Josuke knew they were in the correct place.

“Just trust me Jolyne”

“Fine but I am not saying anything to anyone you are doing the speaking since it was your idea” Jolyne pointed at Josuk.

“I am fine with that, lets get strated”

Jolyne and Josuke walked a little bit and started asking around. They asked adults, school kids, old people basically anyone.

It took them sometime until they ended up in the street where Haruno lived.

Jolyne and Josuke were just walking and looking at the mail boxes for Haruno's last name.

Until they saw something six houses away.

They saw someone being thrown out of the house. And when they saw someone thrown they mean actually thrown out like a ragdoll.

At the same time they heard someone yell at the person and slamming the front door of the house close.

Jolyne and Josuke started running to the unfortunate person to help them.

Then they noticed that the person looked very familiar.

A little too familiar.

Jolyne and Josuke finally realized who they were looking at.

“Oh my god” Josuke was horrified by what he is seeing. Haruno was lying on the ground and there were a lot of new cuts and new fresh bruises on Haruno's small body.

There was a lot of blood.

Josuke stopped thinking and went into action.

Josuke started to wrap the jacket he brought around where Haruno was bleeding. At the same time Josuke used his stand to heal some of the cuts and bruises that Haruno had.

 

Jolyne was in shock and standing there and looking at Josuke when he was working like a freaking doctor or a nurse.

Jolyne stopped being in shock after Josuke told her to try and pick up Haruno.

Josuke helped Jolyne to get Haruno into the way you carry people when you are giving them a piggyback ride.

Jolyne and Josuke started to run to somewhere safer and call somebody to help them.

When Jolyne was carrying Haruno she noticed something.

Haruno was very light for someone his age, it made Jolyne more worried.

Jolyne and Josuke went to a park and put Haruno on one of the park benches.

Luckily Haruno was still breathing.

Josuke started to see if the bleeding that he covered with his jacket was still bleeding. There was still some bleeding but not as much as at first.

Josuke didn't know what to do, he would just heal Haruno with his stand but he couldn't do it in front of Jolyne because she doesn't know anything about stands.

He has to think of something and fast.

‘What the hell am I going to do? I can't just heal Haruno in front of Jolyne, I need Jolyne to do something so she doesn't notice me healing Haruno but what should she do?’ Josuke was thinking hard and then he got an idea.

‘I have my phone with me. She can call someone and then just tell her that she has to call someone so we can get out of here and help Haruno, but who should she call?’ Josuke went and took his phone from his pocket.

“Hey Jolyne take my phone and call someone for help” Josuke gave his phone to Jolyne.

“Josuke I don't know who I should call” Jolyne was panicking a little bit at this point.

“Just call someone that you trust”

Jolyne started to go through the numbers Josuke had saved in his phone and then she saw her dads number.

Jolyne was thinking if she should call her dad or not but what other option did she have.

Jolyne called Jotaro.

“Josuke, why are you calling this late at night? It is 7.46 pm, do you and Jolyne need something?” Jolyne heard her fathers voice answer the phone.

“Dad, it's me calling and me, Josuke and Haruno, need you to help us, can you come here quickly.” Jolyne was getting scared a little bit by how things are right now.

“What happened and where are you right now” Jolyne heard her dads voice get serious and she didn't know where she even was.

“I don't know where I am, I only know that I am in the area where Haruno lives in some park but come quickly we need help”

“I am almost in the car. I am going to come as quickly as I can, Jolyne don't end the call until I get there” When Jolyne heard her dad say that she heard the sound of a car starting from the phone.

“Jolyne tell me what you see around you so I can find you”

Jolyne was trying to describe what she saw around her so Jotaro could find them faster.

During that she was turned away from Josuke and Haruno.

Josuke was healing anything that needed to be healed as quickly as he could.

Now Jolyne and Josuke were just waiting for Jotaro to get there.

Chapter Text

It had been a few minutes and Jotaro was almost there.

Josuke was still healing Haruno and Haruno had a lot of bruises, scars, burns and cigarette burns. And Josuke was horrified by how many there were.

‘What the fuck was going on before he was thrown out the door and how long is it going to take Jotaro to get here?’

Josuke had healed most of the injuries that Haruno had, Josuke was glad that it was night, if it wasn't Haruno would have suffered more burns.

It felt like forever for Jotaro to get to where Jolyne, Josuke and Haruno are.

When Jotaro got there Josuke had healed Haruno's injuries, well at least all the ones he found.

Jotaro helped Jolyne and Josuke to get Haruno to the backseat of the car, during the car ride Jolyne was with Haruno in the backseat and Josuke was in the front seat.

Jolyne and Josuke told everything that happened to Jotaro in the car ride to Jolyne's house.

When they were at the house Jotaro carried Haruno to the living room couch, and Jotaro noticed how light Haruno was.

Jotaro told Jolyne to keep eye on Haruno and to tell him immediately if he wakes up, and Jotaro went to another room with Josuke, in that way Josuke could tell him in full detail what happened.

“Josuke tell me everything that happend”

“T-there were s-so many scars, t-there were cuts, burns, old, new and r-reopened old scars” Josuke was visibly shaking, who wouldn't when they got to something like that.

“I-I healed all the o-ones I could f-find, b-but I think there are more”

“Josuke it's going to be okay, Haruno will be okay, Josuke just breathe” Jotaro was trying his best to comfort Josuke, he isn't sure if it is helping.

“Continue when your ready Josuke”

 

Jolyne was next to Haruno on the couch, Haruno looked like he was in peaceful slumber. Jolyne was there just looking at Haruno, just waiting for him to wake up.

Jolyne noticed that Haruno was shivering, so Jolyne went to get a blanket from her room.

Jolyne got a blanket for Haruno and herself, also she took one of her stuffed animals for Haruno. Getting back to the living room Jolyne put the blanket over Haruno and put the stuffed animal in Haruno's hand.

She went back where she was sitting on the couch having her own blanket over her.

She was getting sleepy and she was trying her hardest to stay awake but she quickly fell asleep.

When Josuke and Jotaro came back to the living room they found Jolyne and Haruno sleeping on the couch.

Josuke asked if he could stay the night there and Jotaro agreed but went to make a phone call to Josuke's mother to notify her that Josuke was sleeping over.

When Jotaro went back to the living room Josuke was sleeping on the couch with his own blanket next to Jolyne and all of them were asleep. Jotaro went and turned off the living room lights and went to his bedroom, trying to figure out what the hell he should do next.

 

Haruno was in a black void, he didn't know how he got there and didn't fully know what happened before he got to the black void.

The only thing he could remember clearly was hearing Josuke's and Jolyne's voices.

Haruno started walking further into the black void to see if he could find a way out of there.

When Haruno was walking in the black void it was very quiet and it felt like someone was looking at him and observing him and his every move.

Even if it felt like someone was looking at him, the feeling of the unknown some didn't feel like it would attack him.

It felt like someone was looking after him.

Haruno tried to turn around and see how was looking at him, but even if he stopped walking and looked in every direction there was no one.

He walked for a long time until he saw a glowing figure in the distance, it looked like a gold silhouette the same height as he was.

Haruno walked closer to the golden silhouette.

When Haruno got close to the gold silhouette he was about to touch it but suddenly he started to fall down into the black void before he could touch it.

He saw the silhouette turn and looked at him, and Haruno noticed it had purple bug-like eyes.

The silhouettes present felt warm and like it was a part of him.

Haruno woke up on the living room couch of Jolyne's house. Haruno was confused about how he got there.

He looked around him and saw Jolyne and Josuke asleep on the same couch he was sleeping on.

‘How did I get here?’ Haruno looked at the clock on the wall.

It was 6.46 am.

‘Did I sleep the night here, but how I was just at “home” how did I come all the way here? I should apologise to them for being here’ Haruno got up and immediately went back down, Haruno's vision got blurry.

 

“Did I stand up too fast? Or is this that man's doing?’

Haruno started to remember what had happened, how he grabbed his arm, how he dragged him and beat him with the belt and burned cigarette burns in his skin.

Haruno could still feel the pain and when his body hit the ground when he got thrown out the door.

‘What did I do to upset him, I did everything right, I was being the perfect child I could be, I didn't complain, I was quiet, I wasn't in his way, I didn't look at him, I didn't speak’

As soon as Haruno's vision came back to normal he checked his arms for any scars, burns or bruises.

And he saw nothing, not even his old ones that have been on his arm since he was like six.

‘What is going on?’ Haruno noticed movement on the couch.

Haruno looked towards where Jolyne is and he realized that she's waking up.

Haruno quickly went back to lying down on the couch trying to pretend that he was sleeping.

He hoped nobody would notice him being awake.

 

Jolyne woke up on the couch.

She looked at the time and it was 7.03 am.
She looked towards Haruno's direction to see if Haruno was still asleep.

‘Haruno is still asleep, did he hit his head on the ground badly?’

Jolyne got up from the couch and went to stand in front of Haruno.

‘Should I try waking him up or do I wake up Josuke first’

Jolyne was thinking hard and she made her choice.

“Josuke wake up, you lazy idiot!” Jolyne yelled into Josuke's ears and she was violently shaking him.

Josuke woke up from Jolyne's amazing waking up technique.

“I'm up, I'm up stop yelling in my ear or I will go deaf”

Josuke was now up.

Josuke turned his head towards the direction where Haruno is.

“Has he not woken up yet?”

“I don't think so, when I woke up he was sleeping”

“Should we try to wake him up?”

“We can try”

Josuke walked towards the couch where Haruno is.

“Hey Haruno, wake up, the sun is up and it's beautiful outside you got to wake up!” Josuke was violently shaking Haruno.

 

Haruno was in the black void again.

When he was pretending to sleep he somehow fell asleep.

Haruno looked around to see if he could find the silhouette from before.

When Haruno looked behind him he saw a gold silhouette a little bit far away, but that one was different from the one from earlier.

And it was staring at him.

It was taller than Haruno, Haruno guessed that it was around 185cm (6ft 1in) and it was muscular and it didn't have the purple bug-like eyes.

It felt like it was looking out for Haruno from afar.

Could it be the one that was watching him from before?

Haruno wanted to get close to it but the void started to shake violently and Haruno started to fall again.

The silhouette tried to come close to Haruno and stop him from falling but it was too late.

Haruno woke up to Josuke shaking him violently.

Before Haruno could ask why Josuke was shaking him both Jolyne and Josuke hugged Haruno.

“Haruno you finally woke up! You scared us when you didn't wake up” Jolyne said while a few tears escaped from her eye.

“Haruno why didn't you tell us anything?” Josuke said in a worried voice while hugging Haruno tightly.

Haruno had a hard time trying to say anything because of Jolyne and Josuke hugging him so tightly, he also had a hard time breathing.

“I can't breathe” Haruno managed to say.

Josuke and Jolyne quickly stopped hugging Haruno.

After a few minutes.

Haruno, Jolyne and Josuke were sitting on the couch.

“Haruno could you tell us what happened? If you don't want to, we would never force you to.” Josuke said.

Haruno was scared to tell Jolyne and Josuke what happened but he also didn't want them to worry about him.

He also didn't want to go back to that house he is supposed to call home.

“I-I was just going to my room a-and then h-he grabbed my arm a-and then he-” Haruno's whole body was shaking, and Haruno was trying not to cry.

Crying was useless for Haruno because things will end up going way worse than they were.

“Haruno, it's okay, you don't have to tell us” Josuke said.

Haruno was taking a few deep breathes to try and calm down and continued telling Jolyne and Josuke.

“H-he beat me with t-the belt and burned cigarette burns on my arms, then he threw me outside” Haruno said as quickly as he could.

“Haruno, everything will be okay, you are safe” Josuke said.

“Please don't make me go back”

“We will never do that, if somebody forced you to go back we would beat them up” Jolyne said and stood up from the couch.

Jolyne went to the kitchen and came back with chocolate pudding and a spoon for Haruno.

“Haruno eat this, it will help!” Jolyne said.

“Am I allowed to eat it?”

“Yes you are allowed, it's for you” Josuke said.

Haruno opened the chocolate pudding carefully and started to eat it.

Haruno has always liked chocolate pudding and mostly anything sweet, usually when he had gotten enough money he would go and buy a pastry from a bakery he liked.

The bakery owner was nice, he would usually give Haruno some pastries for free, but the pastries would be given to Haruno because they were not fresh enough to be sold.

Haruno was happy to be eating the chocolate pudding.

When Haruno was done eating the three of them went to Jolyne's room so they could get their mind of what had happened.

Jolyne chose to watch Barbie and the diamond castle.

They watched the movie and went to the kitchen.

Jotaro was sitting at the kitchen table drinking his morning coffee and looking at the newspaper.

The four of them talked for a bit and Jotaro asked if he could talk with Haruno in another room.

After Haruno and Jotaro had their conversation, they started the operation of getting Haruno far away from his mother and stepfather.

They had to come up with an idea, it took them some time to come up with an idea.

The idea they came up with was that Haruno would start living in the same house as Josuke and come to Jolyne's house during holidays and school holidays.

They only had to wait until Haruno's declared to be missing and wait till it turns into a cold case and then change Haruno's name, and also come up with a story about why Haruno is not with his parents.

They had to do it this way because if they went to court about it there was a chance that Haruno's mother and stepfather would win, and also the chance that Haruno would be put to live in another family.

And Haruno didn't want to see his mother and stepfather and didn't want to go back.

 

It took two days for Haruno to be declared missing.

The only reason why Haruno was declared missing was because a teacher noticed him not being in school and calling his mother.

Haruno's mother called the police because she was trying to make it look like she cared about Haruno.

The police tried to find Haruno for two weeks before saying he was a runaway and left it with that.

After that whole thing they had to make Haruno a new identity.

Surprisingly the hardest part of the identity change was the name change, it was a little bit harder since Haruno had to think of a name he would go by.

And Haruno wasn't sure what name he wanted to be his new name.

The police part of the plan was supposed to be the hardest part because it was thought that the police would ask questions from Jotaro and other family members, but the police were not that good and didn't care about the job.

They had to use the help from the speedwagon foundation's help for the new identity and it didn't take that long to make it, but it took Haruno a little bit more time to think of a new name for himself.

Took a few days for Haruno to come up with his new name.

Haruno chose his name to be Giorno Giovana, but it would be later changed to Giorno Higashikata to fit the story the speedwagon foundation created for Haruno.

The story being that Haruno's parents die in a car accident and then Haruno was adopted to the Higashikata family, since it was the closest family he had.

Josuke's mother and grandfather also think that his parents died and that's why Haruno was able to live with them.

They did ask why Haruno changed his name from Haruno to Giorno.

Haruno lied and said that it was changed to Giorno when he moved but he was still used to saying that he was Haruno and he didn't feel like correcting it.

The adoption went well and Haruno started his new life as Giorno Higashikata.

 

It took Giorno some time to get used to living in the same house as Josuke and also sharing a bedroom with him.

But at least he is now safe and not Haruno Shiobana anymore.

But Giorno's life was about to become a little bit more bizarre when he moved to Morioh.

He himself started to change.
